	January 31: Buddha Air has claimed to have successfully set up RNAV navigation system at Bhadrapur Airport for operation of night flights in coordination with Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).</p>
<p>
	The airline company said in a statement that night flights to the airport are possible with the setup of RNAV (area navigation), which allows flights even in low visibility.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;This allows night flights to be operated safely as well. This technology has been adopted worldwide for safe air operations,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Earlier, this technology was not available at Bhadrapur Airport, forcing the airlines to cancel or delay flights to Bhadrapur due to low visibility and flights could not be operated after sunset, Buddha Air said. This led to a huge burden on travelers and financial burden on airline operators.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With the aim of providing the safest, most reliable and comfortable means of air transport, our flights have been instrumental in changing the landscape of Bhadrapur. Domestic and international travelers fly to Bhadrapur daily. This has led to an increase in employment and expansion of local market and tourism in Bhadrapur,&rdquo; the statement added.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that CAAN&#39;s team also helped in successfully implementing infrastructures for RNAV and runway light installation at Dhangadhi Airport a few months ago. This allowed airline operators to conduct safe night flights to Dhangadhi Airport as well.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With close coordination with CAAN, we are hopeful to expand infrastructures to other airports in Tumlingtar, Surkhet and Bharatpur as well.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that Janakpur Airport will also be equipped with RNAV technology in the coming months in collaboration with CAAN and airport authorities. Once test flight is successful, Buddha Air said it will be operating commercial night flights to Janakpur Airport as well.&nbsp;</p>

	The airline company said in a statement that night flights to the airport are possible with the setup of RNAV (area navigation), which allows flights even in low visibility.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;This allows night flights to be operated safely as well. This technology has been adopted worldwide for safe air operations,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Earlier, this technology was not available at Bhadrapur Airport, forcing the airlines to cancel or delay flights to Bhadrapur due to low visibility and flights could not be operated after sunset, Buddha Air said. This led to a huge burden on travelers and financial burden on airline operators.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With the aim of providing the safest, most reliable and comfortable means of air transport, our flights have been instrumental in changing the landscape of Bhadrapur. Domestic and international travelers fly to Bhadrapur daily. This has led to an increase in employment and expansion of local market and tourism in Bhadrapur,&rdquo; the statement added.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that CAAN&#39;s team also helped in successfully implementing infrastructures for RNAV and runway light installation at Dhangadhi Airport a few months ago. This allowed airline operators to conduct safe night flights to Dhangadhi Airport as well.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With close coordination with CAAN, we are hopeful to expand infrastructures to other airports in Tumlingtar, Surkhet and Bharatpur as well.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that Janakpur Airport will also be equipped with RNAV technology in the coming months in collaboration with CAAN and airport authorities. Once test flight is successful, Buddha Air said it will be operating commercial night flights to Janakpur Airport as well.&nbsp;</p>

	The company&rsquo;s managing director Ram Krishna Prasain said that they decided to extend the sale keeping in view the massive number of visitors at the winter sale.</p>

	This is the second time that the Nepali shoes brand extended the winter sale upon request from the customers.</p>
<p>
	The sale was supposed to end on January 22 but was initially extended by four days and again by a week, said the organizers.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;We extended the deadline so that no one would be deprived the opportunity of purchasing our home-made brand of shoes and slippers at affordable price,&rdquo; said Prasain.</p>

	The airline company said in a statement that night flights to the airport are possible with the setup of RNAV (area navigation), which allows flights even in low visibility.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;This allows night flights to be operated safely as well. This technology has been adopted worldwide for safe air operations,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Earlier, this technology was not available at Bhadrapur Airport, forcing the airlines to cancel or delay flights to Bhadrapur due to low visibility and flights could not be operated after sunset, Buddha Air said. This led to a huge burden on travelers and financial burden on airline operators.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With the aim of providing the safest, most reliable and comfortable means of air transport, our flights have been instrumental in changing the landscape of Bhadrapur. Domestic and international travelers fly to Bhadrapur daily. This has led to an increase in employment and expansion of local market and tourism in Bhadrapur,&rdquo; the statement added.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that CAAN&#39;s team also helped in successfully implementing infrastructures for RNAV and runway light installation at Dhangadhi Airport a few months ago. This allowed airline operators to conduct safe night flights to Dhangadhi Airport as well.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With close coordination with CAAN, we are hopeful to expand infrastructures to other airports in Tumlingtar, Surkhet and Bharatpur as well.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that Janakpur Airport will also be equipped with RNAV technology in the coming months in collaboration with CAAN and airport authorities. Once test flight is successful, Buddha Air said it will be operating commercial night flights to Janakpur Airport as well.&nbsp;</p>

	The airline company said in a statement that night flights to the airport are possible with the setup of RNAV (area navigation), which allows flights even in low visibility.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;This allows night flights to be operated safely as well. This technology has been adopted worldwide for safe air operations,&rdquo; the statement said.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Earlier, this technology was not available at Bhadrapur Airport, forcing the airlines to cancel or delay flights to Bhadrapur due to low visibility and flights could not be operated after sunset, Buddha Air said. This led to a huge burden on travelers and financial burden on airline operators.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With the aim of providing the safest, most reliable and comfortable means of air transport, our flights have been instrumental in changing the landscape of Bhadrapur. Domestic and international travelers fly to Bhadrapur daily. This has led to an increase in employment and expansion of local market and tourism in Bhadrapur,&rdquo; the statement added.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that CAAN&#39;s team also helped in successfully implementing infrastructures for RNAV and runway light installation at Dhangadhi Airport a few months ago. This allowed airline operators to conduct safe night flights to Dhangadhi Airport as well.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;With close coordination with CAAN, we are hopeful to expand infrastructures to other airports in Tumlingtar, Surkhet and Bharatpur as well.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Buddha Air said that Janakpur Airport will also be equipped with RNAV technology in the coming months in collaboration with CAAN and airport authorities. Once test flight is successful, Buddha Air said it will be operating commercial night flights to Janakpur Airport as well.&nbsp;</p>

	The new variant was launched at the company&rsquo;s showroom in Naxal on Tuesday, January 29. The French automobile maker had first launched Duster together with KWID in 2016 in Nepal.</div>

	According to the company, the new features include a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system compatible with a Bluetooth, USB and Aux-In connectivity along with Smartphone Voice Recognition system.</div>

	In addition, the RXS variant also gets dual airbags, engine mobilize, central locking, power door lock and gun metal finish alloy wheels. Other features, according to the company, include steering-mounted audio and phone controls, rear reading lamps and gear shift indicator and GPS navigation.</div>

	The company said in a statement that the Duster RXS variant is powered by a 1.5 dCi engine that churns out 85 hp of power and 200Nm of torque. Renault said it also sells Duster with diesel power train. The automatic variant of the model comes equipped with the six-speed X-Tronic CVT gearbox.</div>

	Renault Duster RXS has air conditioner, heater, steering adjustment, rating mount audio, power supply port, rear armrest, electrically adjustable rear view mirror and many other additional features. It has average mileage of 13km and has disc brakes in front and drum brakes in the rear part.</div>
