January 30: Nepal Bank Limited and Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited have signed an agreement to provide bancassurance service to their customers. The bank’s CEO Devendra Pratap Shah and the insurance company’s CEO Poshak Raj Poudel signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Tuesday, January 29.
According to the agreement, the bank’s customers can avail all kinds of life insurance services provided by the insurance company through any of the 158 branches of the bank.
The insurance company also introduced new schemes including Jivan Sarathi Scheme, Critical Care Plus etc. Under Jivan Sarathi Scheme, the insurers can get insurance premium till 90 years, said the company. Likewise under the Critical Care Plus scheme, the insurance company will bear treatment cost of 20 different fatal diseases for its customers.
