<p>Issuing a statement, the organisers said that they are in the final stage of preparation for the event which will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from January 18-20.</p>

<p>The organisers are expecting a turnout of more than 1,00,000 visitors for the event.</p>

<p>Exhibitors include almost all stakeholders of hydropower sector in Nepal from engineering firms, machinery manufacturers, equipment suppliers, technology service providers, contractors, banks, insurance companies, construction material suppliers, heavy machinery and vehicle brands among others, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the National Planning Commission and Ministry of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation have provided patronage to the event realizing the need of such expo for the overall growth of the energy sector.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The Himalayan Hydro Expo will showcase stalls from hydropower developers, state-of-the-art technology manufactures and suppliers, investors, insurance companies, banks, and construction companies from across Nepal, India, China, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, South Korea, Sweden and England,&rdquo; the statement said.</p>

<p>According to the organisers, the products range from electro mechanical system, hydro mechanical system, control system, protection and data supervisory system, construction equipment, solar modules, electric vehicles as well as tunneling equipment.</p>

<p>The expo will also host various competitions for engineering students and eight participants from various engineering colleges are competing for the coveted first place.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Another major attraction of the event is short helicopter rides to Dordi Corridor, Upper Marshyandi and Solu Corridor where numerous hydropower projects are in construction and few are already in operation wherein interested participants get a real feel of hydropower development that is going on in the country,&rdquo; the statement added.</p>

<p>The organisers are also planning to launch the first version of Hydro Map (a computer application) intended to serve as a hydro database for all stakeholders which is jointly developed by IPPAN, Niti Foundation, and The Asia Foundation.</p>

<p>The expo will also feature other renewable energy initiatives in Solar PV system, wind energy potential and showcase of electric cars as substitute to the fossil fuel cars.</p>

<p>The company said it has the capacity to produce 40 tons of 8 to 32 mm steel rebars in just an hour. The factory runs for 20 hours each day with four hours separated for maintenance. The company said it uses Japanese technology to produce steel rebars.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the company uses rolling technique to eliminate human error while production.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The use of computer controlled machines for rib design and notching maintains the strength of the products with the right amount of concrete mixed in,&rdquo; said the statement.</p>

<p>Premier Steel said it imports raw materials from Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Jharkhand and West Bengal.</p>

<p>The main market for the company currently is Province 1 and the company said it aims to produce material for the entire country in the coming days.</p>

<p>Premier Steel is a joint venture of Sharda Group and Rathi Group. The operators claim to have been generating steel for more than 36 years. Currently, the company has been producing Fe 500 grade steel.</p>

<p>Enthused by the huge turn-out of visitors and startups in the BizFest, Amit Agrawal, manager of GBG Kathmandu shared, &ldquo;Startup is a recent phenomenon in Nepal. We can see many startups emerging to solve various need gaps existing in our society. However, not many people know about the emerging Nepali startups and there was no such expo focused on startups only. <p>Issuing a statement, the organisers said that they are in the final stage of preparation for the event which will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from January 18-20.</p>

<p>The organisers are expecting a turnout of more than 1,00,000 visitors for the event.</p>

<p>Exhibitors include almost all stakeholders of hydropower sector in Nepal from engineering firms, machinery manufacturers, equipment suppliers, technology service providers, contractors, banks, insurance companies, construction material suppliers, heavy machinery and vehicle brands among others, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the National Planning Commission and Ministry of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation have provided patronage to the event realizing the need of such expo for the overall growth of the energy sector.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The Himalayan Hydro Expo will showcase stalls from hydropower developers, state-of-the-art technology manufactures and suppliers, investors, insurance companies, banks, and construction companies from across Nepal, India, China, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, South Korea, Sweden and England,&rdquo; the statement said.</p>

<p>According to the organisers, the products range from electro mechanical system, hydro mechanical system, control system, protection and data supervisory system, construction equipment, solar modules, electric vehicles as well as tunneling equipment.</p>

<p>The expo will also host various competitions for engineering students and eight participants from various engineering colleges are competing for the coveted first place.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Another major attraction of the event is short helicopter rides to Dordi Corridor, Upper Marshyandi and Solu Corridor where numerous hydropower projects are in construction and few are already in operation wherein interested participants get a real feel of hydropower development that is going on in the country,&rdquo; the statement added.</p>

<p>The organisers are also planning to launch the first version of Hydro Map (a computer application) intended to serve as a hydro database for all stakeholders which is jointly developed by IPPAN, Niti Foundation, and The Asia Foundation.</p>

<p>The expo will also feature other renewable energy initiatives in Solar PV system, wind energy potential and showcase of electric cars as substitute to the fossil fuel cars.</p>

<p>The company said it has the capacity to produce 40 tons of 8 to 32 mm steel rebars in just an hour. The factory runs for 20 hours each day with four hours separated for maintenance. The company said it uses Japanese technology to produce steel rebars.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the company uses rolling technique to eliminate human error while production.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The use of computer controlled machines for rib design and notching maintains the strength of the products with the right amount of concrete mixed in,&rdquo; said the statement.</p>

<p>Premier Steel said it imports raw materials from Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Jharkhand and West Bengal.</p>

<p>The main market for the company currently is Province 1 and the company said it aims to produce material for the entire country in the coming days.</p>

<p>Premier Steel is a joint venture of Sharda Group and Rathi Group. The operators claim to have been generating steel for more than 36 years. Currently, the company has been producing Fe 500 grade steel.</p>

<p>Exhibitors include almost all stakeholders of hydropower sector in Nepal from engineering firms, machinery manufacturers, equipment suppliers, technology service providers, contractors, banks, insurance companies, construction material suppliers, heavy machinery and vehicle brands among others, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the National Planning Commission and Ministry of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation have provided patronage to the event realizing the need of such expo for the overall growth of the energy sector.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The Himalayan Hydro Expo will showcase stalls from hydropower developers, state-of-the-art technology manufactures and suppliers, investors, insurance companies, banks, and construction companies from across Nepal, India, China, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, South Korea, Sweden and England,&rdquo; the statement said.</p>

<p>According to the organisers, the products range from electro mechanical system, hydro mechanical system, control system, protection and data supervisory system, construction equipment, solar modules, electric vehicles as well as tunneling equipment.</p>

<p>The expo will also host various competitions for engineering students and eight participants from various engineering colleges are competing for the coveted first place.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Another major attraction of the event is short helicopter rides to Dordi Corridor, Upper Marshyandi and Solu Corridor where numerous hydropower projects are in construction and few are already in operation wherein interested participants get a real feel of hydropower development that is going on in the country,&rdquo; the statement added.</p>

<p>The organisers are also planning to launch the first version of Hydro Map (a computer application) intended to serve as a hydro database for all stakeholders which is jointly developed by IPPAN, Niti Foundation, and The Asia Foundation.</p>

<p>The expo will also feature other renewable energy initiatives in Solar PV system, wind energy potential and showcase of electric cars as substitute to the fossil fuel cars.</p>

<p>Premier Steel said it imports raw materials from Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Jharkhand and West Bengal.</p>

<p>The main market for the company currently is Province 1 and the company said it aims to produce material for the entire country in the coming days.</p>

<p>According to the Kathmandu chapter of Google Business Group, a community of business professionals, they organised the expo to bring every kind of startups together in a single platform.</p>

<p>Issuing a statement, the organiser said that the participating startups ranged from online game developing companies to those working on animation production, from digital marketing to 3D printing, from online shopping startups to the companies that manage cash-on-delivery to these startups, from online education to online medicine, Nepali clothing brands and handicrafts to agro-startups among others.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The event also provided a learning platform for students and others who want to start their own businesses in the future,&rdquo; the statement said.</p>

<p>Enthused by the huge turn-out of visitors and startups in the BizFest, Amit Agrawal, manager of GBG Kathmandu shared, &ldquo;Startup is a recent phenomenon in Nepal. We can see many startups emerging to solve various need gaps existing in our society. However, not many people know about the emerging Nepali startups and there was no such expo focused on startups only. Also, it&rsquo;s not possible for all recently founded startups to pay a heavy fee to exhibit in expos. Thus GBG Kathmandu took an initiation to bring all major startups of Nepal in a single platform. Through BizFest, we tried providing them a free and open platform to connect with their potential users and customers.&rdquo;</p>

<p>According to the organiser, the event turned out to be an ideal platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to meet and talk with fellow entrepreneurs who have already founded startups and gain knowledge and ideas. The event also provided an opportunity for exhibitors to get opinion and feedback from the people.</p>

<p>During the expo, four workshop sessions were also held on topics like &lsquo;Growth Hacking&rsquo;, &lsquo;Overcoming legal challenges in business&rsquo;, &lsquo;Google Sheets for Business Growth&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Ads and Analytics for Business Growth&rsquo; that were delivered by experts in the industry.</p>

<p>Through all these activities Google Business Group Kathmandu claimed that it aimed to groom startup founders and promote entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nepal.</p>

<p>Issuing a statement, the organisers said that they are in the final stage of preparation for the event which will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from January 18-20.</p>

<p>The organisers are expecting a turnout of more than 1,00,000 visitors for the event.</p>

<p>Exhibitors include almost all stakeholders of hydropower sector in Nepal from engineering firms, machinery manufacturers, equipment suppliers, technology service providers, contractors, banks, insurance companies, construction material suppliers, heavy machinery and vehicle brands among others, reads the statement.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the National Planning Commission and Ministry of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation have provided patronage to the event realizing the need of such expo for the overall growth of the energy sector.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The Himalayan Hydro Expo will showcase stalls from hydropower developers, state-of-the-art technology manufactures and suppliers, investors, insurance companies, banks, and construction companies from across Nepal, India, China, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, South Korea, Sweden and England,&rdquo; the statement said.</p>

<p>According to the organisers, the products range from electro mechanical system, hydro mechanical system, control system, protection and data supervisory system, construction equipment, solar modules, electric vehicles as well as tunneling equipment.</p>

<p>The expo will also host various competitions for engineering students and eight participants from various engineering colleges are competing for the coveted first place.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Another major attraction of the event is short helicopter rides to Dordi Corridor, Upper Marshyandi and Solu Corridor where numerous hydropower projects are in construction and few are already in operation wherein interested participants get a real feel of hydropower development that is going on in the country,&rdquo; the statement added.</p>

<p>The organisers are also planning to launch the first version of Hydro Map (a computer application) intended to serve as a hydro database for all stakeholders which is jointly developed by IPPAN, Niti Foundation, and The Asia Foundation.</p>

<p>The expo will also feature other renewable energy initiatives in Solar PV system, wind energy potential and showcase of electric cars as substitute to the fossil fuel cars.</p>

<p>The company claimed that its products, ranging from 8 mm to 32 mm, are of superior quality as they are made of prime billets.</p>

<p>The company said it has the capacity to produce 40 tons of 8 to 32 mm steel rebars in just an hour. The factory runs for 20 hours each day with four hours separated for maintenance. The company said it uses Japanese technology to produce steel rebars.</p>

<p>The statement further said that the company uses rolling technique to eliminate human error while production.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The use of computer controlled machines for rib design and notching maintains the strength of the products with the right amount of concrete mixed in,&rdquo; said the statement.</p>

<p>Premier Steel said it imports raw materials from Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Jharkhand and West Bengal.</p>

<p>The main market for the company currently is Province 1 and the company said it aims to produce material for the entire country in the coming days.</p>

<p>Premier Steel is a joint venture of Sharda Group and Rathi Group. The operators claim to have been generating steel for more than 36 years. Currently, the company has been producing Fe 500 grade steel.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The event also provided a learning platform for students and others who want to start their own businesses in the future,&rdquo; the statement said.</p>

<p>Enthused by the huge turn-out of visitors and startups in the BizFest, Amit Agrawal, manager of GBG Kathmandu shared, &ldquo;Startup is a recent phenomenon in Nepal. We can see many startups emerging to solve various need gaps existing in our society. However, not many people know about the emerging Nepali startups and there was no such expo focused on startups only. Also, it&rsquo;s not possible for all recently founded startups to pay a heavy fee to exhibit in expos. Thus GBG Kathmandu took an initiation to bring all major startups of Nepal in a single platform.
