<p>Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that Guru Prasad Poudel, director of Nepal Rastra Bank, inaugurated the Khajura and Barbardiya branches while the inauguration of Kanepokhari branch was done by Tara Bahadur Kafle, president of the rural municipality, Kanepokhari.</p>

<p>NIC ASIA Bank said it is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in the country in terms of capital base, balance-sheet size, customer base, number of branch and ATM network. With the formal inauguration of the three new branches, the bank is currently providing services to its valuable customers through 133 branches and 141 ATM counters, spread all over the country, the statement said.</p>

<p>Till date, ten GOI-aided projects worth NRs 25.77 crores have been completed in Mustang district. <p>According to the embassy, the India-Nepal economic programme has an outlay of over NRs 76 billion with more than 554 large and small development projects completed or currently being implemented all across Nepal in cooperation with the Government of Nepal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>These development projects mainly focus in education, health and infrastructure development sectors recognizing and responding to local needs to help the Government of Nepal achieve all inclusive socio-economic developments.</p>

<p>Issuing a press statement, the Indian Embassy said that the new building constructed with India&rsquo;s grant assistance of NRs 2.65 crores would facilitate better learning environment to approximately 1,000 students of the school that was established in 1979 as a lower secondary school and was subsequently upgraded to secondary level in 1995.</p>

<p>The school is providing free education to indigenous students from the tribal areas of Dhanusha and adjoining districts, reads the press statement.</p>

<p>Till date, seven Government of India (GOI)-aided projects worth NRs 16.66 crores have been completed in Dhanusha district, according to the Indian Embassy. These projects include school, library, museum buildings, bridges and roads.</p>

<p>Eleven more projects including school buildings, roads and bridges etc are being constructed with GOI assistance of NRs 31.13 crores, the embassy informed. Apart from this, 29 ambulances and 5 buses have been donated to various organisations in Dhanusha district.</p>

<p>The Insurance Board took such initiative after the recent hacking of SWIFT system of NIC Asia Bank in which the bank reportedly lost millions of rupees in its foreign transaction.</p>

<p>The board said it will prepare a directive on cyber security after holding discussions with the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>Acknowledging that the insurance sector is not an exception to cyber attacks, the board held a meeting with the CEOs of all the insurance companies of the country on Thursday, November 2.</p>

<p>The board&rsquo;s Information Technology engineer Dhruba Gyawali presented a paper on cyber security alert during the discussion organised by the board. He urged the insurance companies to hire trusted person and to check after his background before assigning the person with the responsibility of handling SWIFT system.</p>

<p>The program coordinator Purna Thapa urged the companies to use authorised software of word and excel in order to avoid hacking. The board also suggested all the companies to keep a back-up. &nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Dharmaraj Shakya, president of FHAN, this is the 15<sup>th</sup> edition of the handicraft trade fair and 13<sup>th</sup> edition of handicraft competition. Stating that there is an important place of handicraft in both domestic and foreign markets, Shakya said this kind of fair will immensely help in promoting the handicraft sector. Entrepreneurs of around 25 districts will be exhibiting their products.</p>

<p>According to Hem Ratna Shakya, coordinator of the fair, there will be nine pavilions with 200 stalls. He further informed that nine pavilions and around 95 percent of stalls have already been booked till date.</p>

<p>FHAN is expecting more than 20 buyers from China, Japan, Bhutan, India and other countries. The federation is expecting more than 1, 50,000 visitors in the fair.</p>

<p>The winner of the handicraft competition will get Rs 50,000 while the second and third place finishers will receive Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, said Shakya.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Acknowledging that the insurance sector is not an exception to cyber attacks, the board held a meeting with the CEOs of all the insurance companies of the country on Thursday, November 2.</p>

<p>The board&rsquo;s Information Technology engineer Dhruba Gyawali presented a paper on cyber security alert during the discussion organised by the board. He urged the insurance companies to hire trusted person and to check after his background before assigning the person with the responsibility of handling SWIFT system.</p>

<p>The program coordinator Purna Thapa urged the companies to use authorised software of word and excel in order to avoid hacking. The board also suggested all the companies to keep a back-up. &nbsp;</p>

Stating that there is an important place of handicraft in both domestic and foreign markets, Shakya said this kind of fair will immensely help in promoting the handicraft sector. Entrepreneurs of around 25 districts will be exhibiting their products.</p>

<p>According to Hem Ratna Shakya, coordinator of the fair, there will be nine pavilions with 200 stalls. He further informed that nine pavilions and around 95 percent of stalls have already been booked till date.</p>

<p>FHAN is expecting more than 20 buyers from China, Japan, Bhutan, India and other countries. The federation is expecting more than 1, 50,000 visitors in the fair.</p>

<p>The winner of the handicraft competition will get Rs 50,000 while the second and third place finishers will receive Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, said Shakya.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the embassy, the India-Nepal economic programme has an outlay of over NRs 76 billion with more than 554 large and small development projects completed or currently being implemented all across Nepal in cooperation with the Government of Nepal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>These development projects mainly focus in education, health and infrastructure development sectors recognizing and responding to local needs to help the Government of Nepal achieve all inclusive socio-economic developments.</p>

<p>The school is providing free education to indigenous students from the tribal areas of Dhanusha and adjoining districts, reads the press statement.</p>

<p>Till date, seven Government of India (GOI)-aided projects worth NRs 16.66 crores have been completed in Dhanusha district, according to the Indian Embassy. These projects include school, library, museum buildings, bridges and roads.</p>

<p>Acknowledging that the insurance sector is not an exception to cyber attacks, the board held a meeting with the CEOs of all the insurance companies of the country on Thursday, November 2.</p>

<p>The board&rsquo;s Information Technology engineer Dhruba Gyawali presented a paper on cyber security alert during the discussion organised by the board. He urged the insurance companies to hire trusted person and to check after his background before assigning the person with the responsibility of handling SWIFT system.</p>

<p>The program coordinator Purna Thapa urged the companies to use authorised software of word and excel in order to avoid hacking. The board also suggested all the companies to keep a back-up. &nbsp;</p>

<p>FHAN is organising the expo with the assistance from Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC) and the Ministry of Commerce (MoC).</p>

<p>According to Dharmaraj Shakya, president of FHAN, this is the 15<sup>th</sup> edition of the handicraft trade fair and 13<sup>th</sup> edition of handicraft competition. Stating that there is an important place of handicraft in both domestic and foreign markets, Shakya said this kind of fair will immensely help in promoting the handicraft sector. Entrepreneurs of around 25 districts will be exhibiting their products.</p>

<p>According to Hem Ratna Shakya, coordinator of the fair, there will be nine pavilions with 200 stalls. He further informed that nine pavilions and around 95 percent of stalls have already been booked till date.</p>

<p>FHAN is expecting more than 20 buyers from China, Japan, Bhutan, India and other countries. The federation is expecting more than 1, 50,000 visitors in the fair.</p>

<p>The winner of the handicraft competition will get Rs 50,000 while the second and third place finishers will receive Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, said Shakya.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The board said it will prepare a directive on cyber security after holding discussions with the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>Acknowledging that the insurance sector is not an exception to cyber attacks, the board held a meeting with the CEOs of all the insurance companies of the country on Thursday, November 2.</p>

<p>The board&rsquo;s Information Technology engineer Dhruba Gyawali presented a paper on cyber security alert during the discussion organised by the board. He urged the insurance companies to hire trusted person and to check after his background before assigning the person with the responsibility of handling SWIFT system.</p>

<p>The program coordinator Purna Thapa urged the companies to use authorised software of word and excel in order to avoid hacking. The board also suggested all the companies to keep a back-up. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Organisers are expecting transaction worth Rs 100 million during the 15<sup>th</sup> Handicraft Trade Fair, which will be held from November 17 to 21.</p>

<p>FHAN is organising the expo with the assistance from Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC) and the Ministry of Commerce (MoC).</p>

<p>According to Dharmaraj Shakya, president of FHAN, this is the 15<sup>th</sup> edition of the handicraft trade fair and 13<sup>th</sup> edition of handicraft competition. Stating that there is an important place of handicraft in both domestic and foreign markets, Shakya said this kind of fair will immensely help in promoting the handicraft sector. Entrepreneurs of around 25 districts will be exhibiting their products.</p>

<p>According to Hem Ratna Shakya, coordinator of the fair, there will be nine pavilions with 200 stalls. He further informed that nine pavilions and around 95 percent of stalls have already been booked till date.</p>

<p>FHAN is expecting more than 20 buyers from China, Japan, Bhutan, India and other countries. The federation is expecting more than 1, 50,000 visitors in the fair.</p>

<p>The winner of the handicraft competition will get Rs 50,000 while the second and third place finishers will receive Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, said Shakya.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
