The company said that credit rating agencies (CRAs) play an important role in most modern capital markets that assigns credit ratings.</p> <p>“Credit rating is the opinion of the rating agency on the relative ability and willingness of tile issuer of a debt instrument to meet the debt service obligations as and when they arise,” reads the statement issued by CARE Ratings Nepal.</p> <p>“CARE Ratings Nepal will offer all the credit rating services in Nepal like IPO grading, rating of bonds and debentures, issuer ratings, mutual funds rating etc. There are about 200 listed companies, mostly banks and insurance companies in Nepal. The mandatory increase in the share capital of banks and insurance companies over a period of time offers the business opportunity for the rating agencies,” said Sajan Goyal, CEO of CARE Ratings Nepal. </p> <p>CARE Ratings Nepal Limited said it was registered with the Office of Company Registrar in May 2017 with the main objective of providing credit rating services in Nepal. The main promoters of the CARE Ratings Nepal are CARE Ratings India (51% stake) alongwith other shareholders including Vishal Group Ltd (10%), Emerging Nepal Limited (10%) and four banks and insurance companies with 5% each share— Global IME Bank, Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd, Prudential Insurance Company Ltd, and Life Insurance Corporation Ltd. The treatment plant has been constructed with a loan support of Rs 5.07 billion from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).</span></p> <p>According to a press statement issued by JICA, the plant can purify a total of 85 million liters of water per day for the citizens of the Kathmandu Valley. The treatment plant will start its operation in full capacity once the construction of the tunnel work of the MWSP completes.</p> <p>“The water purified in the plant will meet all the standards as it is built with advanced technology and has adopted rapid sand filtration system with coagulation-sedimentation process,” reads the statement.</p> <p>The WTP has a mini hydro plant which generates 200 KW of electricity. The mini hydro plant helps to operate the WTP. The statement further reads that the test operation of the WTP begun during the monsoon season by using water from the Bagmati River, and is already completed.</p> <p>“The plant is now ready to treat 85-million liters water per day from the Melamchi River. He was awarded for the third time in a row. Similarly, Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd had paid the highest amount of income tax in the Fiscal Year 2016/2017, among the companies.</p> <p>Likewise, Pawan Kumar International had paid the highest amount of value added tax (VAT) in the last fiscal year. Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, which manufactures products ranging from cigarettes to readymade garments, bagged the award for being the highest taxpayer in the last fiscal year.</p> <p>According to the IRD, Himlayan Bank was honored for being the highest taxpayer among banks and financial institutions. A team of 26 Samsung employees came from Korea and participated in the program alongside the Samsung Nepal employees, reads a press statement issued by the company.</span></p> <p>In an effort to help aspiring women entrepreneurs, the Samsung Team said it organized a special Women Entrepreneurship Program where they carried out graphic designing and Photoshop classes for them.</p> <p>The Samsung Team also imparted IT education to around 100 Nepali students and trained 10 computer teachers from seven different schools. The IT equipment that were being used for the training were all brought from Korea and were donated to the school upon completion of the program. The treatment plant will start its operation in full capacity once the construction of the tunnel work of the MWSP completes.</p> <p>“The water purified in the plant will meet all the standards as it is built with advanced technology and has adopted rapid sand filtration system with coagulation-sedimentation process,” reads the statement.</p> <p>The WTP has a mini hydro plant which generates 200 KW of electricity. The mini hydro plant helps to operate the WTP. The statement further reads that the test operation of the WTP begun during the monsoon season by using water from the Bagmati River, and is already completed.</p> <p>“The plant is now ready to treat 85-million liters water per day from the Melamchi River. The runway of the airport will be 2,500 meters long, and 45 meters wide. The treatment plant will start its operation in full capacity once the construction of the tunnel work of the MWSP completes.</p> <p>“The water purified in the plant will meet all the standards as it is built with advanced technology and has adopted rapid sand filtration system with coagulation-sedimentation process,” reads the statement.</p> <p>The WTP has a mini hydro plant which generates 200 KW of electricity. The mini hydro plant helps to operate the WTP. The statement further reads that the test operation of the WTP begun during the monsoon season by using water from the Bagmati River, and is already completed.</p> <p>“The plant is now ready to treat 85-million liters water per day from the Melamchi River. The runway of the airport will be 2,500 meters long, and 45 meters wide.
