<p>The new boarding pass has come into use since July 11. The SDGs logo is informative as it highlights 17 points to consider to meet the UN&rsquo;s global goals. 			'content' => '<p>July 14: Government authorities have started discussions about the possible use of Dhamra seaport of Orissa for third-country trade. Officials consider this seaport strategically viable than Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s Visakhapatnam, which Nepal has just started using. Dharma Port is 503.9 kilometers near than Visakhapatnam Port. However, official talks are yet to take place.</p>

<p>According to spokesperson at the Ministry of Commerce, Ravi Shankar Sainju, Nepal&rsquo;s Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay has asked the government to explore new avenues for third-country trade. He has given emphasis to Dhamra Port, informed Sainju.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We haven&rsquo;t started written correspondence though. We are discussing it at the ministerial level about the possibility of using the particular seaport in the future,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Indian Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has been reportedly telling Ambassador Upadhyay that Nepal can make the best use of Dhamra Port. Pradhan represents Orissa&rsquo;s Deugadh in the Indian parliament.</p>

<p>Ambassador Upadhyay has time and again reminded officials of the ministry to consider the possible user of the seaport.</p>

<p>Nepal has been using Kolkata&rsquo;s seaport since a long time for overseas trade. Nepal has just started using Visakhapatnam seaport since June 24. Shipping companies from Visakhapatnam deliver goods directly to Birgunj Dry Port in Nepal reducing the cost factor to a great extent. However, the seaport is 1430.5 km from Nepal&rsquo;s border while Dhamra Port is 926.6 km away.</p>

<p>Dhamra Port, which came into operation in 2011, has all the facilities that Visakhapatnam has. Nepal had decided to diversify its base for third-country trade in 2009 and had considered Visakhapatnam as an alternate option since then. But it took eight years to practically implement the idea. Nepal didn&rsquo;t pay any attention to other alternative that came into existence in between the time period.&nbsp;</p>

			'content' => '<p>July 14: The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has found noteworthy progress in Nepal&rsquo;s attempt to meet the international aviation security standard. According to officials at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), a team of ICAO has found Nepal&rsquo;s air safety standard satisfactory after conducting an audit to evaluate the progress achieved by Nepali airlines.</p>

<p>With the positive feedback from the two-member ICAO team, CAAN officials are hopeful that the European Commission (EC) will remove Nepal from its blacklist soon. The EC has banned 18 Nepali airlines from flying in the European airspace since the last four years citing air safety concerns.</p>

<p>CAAN Deputy General Manager Rajan Pokharel informed that a captain and an aeronautical engineer from the ICAO recently returned back after completing a four-day audit. The team was in Nepal to study the ban imposed by the EU on Nepali airlines. However, the final report is yet to come. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali airlines have not been able to conduct flights to the EU destinations because of the ban imposed by the European Commission on December 5, 2013.</p>

<p>The Nepali airlines that fall in the blacklist are Nepal Airlines Corporation, Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, Fishtail Air, Goma Air, Himalayan Airlines, Air Dynasty, Air Kasthamandap, Makalu Air, Manang Air, Mountain Helicopters, Muktinath Air, Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Simrik Air, Sita Air and Tara Air.</p>

<p>Besides Nepal, the European Union has also banned airlines of Afghanistan, Congo, Angola, Indonesia, Liberia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Iran and Iraq.</p>

<p>During the recent visit, ICAO studied four aspects including legal, organizational, operational and air worthiness and found all the aspects satisfactory, according to CAAN Deputy Managing Director and Spokesperson Birendra Prasad Shrestha. The team will submit the report to ICAO headquarters first and then only the ICAO will inform about the report to the CAAN, said Shrestha.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;The team led by NCC President Rajesh Kaji Shrestha said Nepal should utilize SAFTA, BIMSTEC and BBIN for attaining economic prosperity. The delegation also said that Nepal should remain neutral by not taking sides of any of the two neighbours.</p>

<p>Foreign Minister Mahara also said Nepal was in favor of taking benefit from both the neighbors, adding that he has already visited China for this purpose and will take initiative towards making SAFTA, BIMSTEC and BBIN more dynamic during his visit to India.</p>

<p>&nbsp;On the occasion, DPM Mahara said Nepal has a strategy of mobilizing Nepali missions abroad for economic development of the country.</p>

<p>According to spokesperson at the Ministry of Commerce, Ravi Shankar Sainju, Nepal&rsquo;s Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay has asked the government to explore new avenues for third-country trade. He has given emphasis to Dhamra Port, informed Sainju.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We haven&rsquo;t started written correspondence though. We are discussing it at the ministerial level about the possibility of using the particular seaport in the future,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Indian Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has been reportedly telling Ambassador Upadhyay that Nepal can make the best use of Dhamra Port. Pradhan represents Orissa&rsquo;s Deugadh in the Indian parliament.</p>

<p>Ambassador Upadhyay has time and again reminded officials of the ministry to consider the possible user of the seaport.</p>

<p>Nepal has been using Kolkata&rsquo;s seaport since a long time for overseas trade. Nepal has just started using Visakhapatnam seaport since June 24. Shipping companies from Visakhapatnam deliver goods directly to Birgunj Dry Port in Nepal reducing the cost factor to a great extent. However, the seaport is 1430.5 km from Nepal&rsquo;s border while Dhamra Port is 926.6 km away.</p>

<p>Dhamra Port, which came into operation in 2011, has all the facilities that Visakhapatnam has. Nepal had decided to diversify its base for third-country trade in 2009 and had considered Visakhapatnam as an alternate option since then. But it took eight years to practically implement the idea. Nepal didn&rsquo;t pay any attention to other alternative that came into existence in between the time period.&nbsp;</p>

According to officials at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), a team of ICAO has found Nepal&rsquo;s air safety standard satisfactory after conducting an audit to evaluate the progress achieved by Nepali airlines.</p>

<p>With the positive feedback from the two-member ICAO team, CAAN officials are hopeful that the European Commission (EC) will remove Nepal from its blacklist soon. The EC has banned 18 Nepali airlines from flying in the European airspace since the last four years citing air safety concerns.</p>

<p>CAAN Deputy General Manager Rajan Pokharel informed that a captain and an aeronautical engineer from the ICAO recently returned back after completing a four-day audit. The team was in Nepal to study the ban imposed by the EU on Nepali airlines. However, the final report is yet to come. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali airlines have not been able to conduct flights to the EU destinations because of the ban imposed by the European Commission on December 5, 2013.</p>

<p>The Nepali airlines that fall in the blacklist are Nepal Airlines Corporation, Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, Fishtail Air, Goma Air, Himalayan Airlines, Air Dynasty, Air Kasthamandap, Makalu Air, Manang Air, Mountain Helicopters, Muktinath Air, Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Simrik Air, Sita Air and Tara Air.</p>

<p>Besides Nepal, the European Union has also banned airlines of Afghanistan, Congo, Angola, Indonesia, Liberia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Iran and Iraq.</p>

<p>During the recent visit, ICAO studied four aspects including legal, organizational, operational and air worthiness and found all the aspects satisfactory, according to CAAN Deputy Managing Director and Spokesperson Birendra Prasad Shrestha. The team will submit the report to ICAO headquarters first and then only the ICAO will inform about the report to the CAAN, said Shrestha.&nbsp;</p>

Officials consider this seaport strategically viable than Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s Visakhapatnam, which Nepal has just started using. Dharma Port is 503.9 kilometers near than Visakhapatnam Port. However, official talks are yet to take place.</p>

<p>According to spokesperson at the Ministry of Commerce, Ravi Shankar Sainju, Nepal&rsquo;s Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay has asked the government to explore new avenues for third-country trade. He has given emphasis to Dhamra Port, informed Sainju.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We haven&rsquo;t started written correspondence though. We are discussing it at the ministerial level about the possibility of using the particular seaport in the future,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Indian Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has been reportedly telling Ambassador Upadhyay that Nepal can make the best use of Dhamra Port. Pradhan represents Orissa&rsquo;s Deugadh in the Indian parliament.</p>

<p>Ambassador Upadhyay has time and again reminded officials of the ministry to consider the possible user of the seaport.</p>

<p>Nepal has been using Kolkata&rsquo;s seaport since a long time for overseas trade. Nepal has just started using Visakhapatnam seaport since June 24. Shipping companies from Visakhapatnam deliver goods directly to Birgunj Dry Port in Nepal reducing the cost factor to a great extent. However, the seaport is 1430.5 km from Nepal&rsquo;s border while Dhamra Port is 926.6 km away.</p>

<p>Dhamra Port, which came into operation in 2011, has all the facilities that Visakhapatnam has. Nepal had decided to diversify its base for third-country trade in 2009 and had considered Visakhapatnam as an alternate option since then. But it took eight years to practically implement the idea. Nepal didn&rsquo;t pay any attention to other alternative that came into existence in between the time period.&nbsp;</p>

According to officials at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), a team of ICAO has found Nepal&rsquo;s air safety standard satisfactory after conducting an audit to evaluate the progress achieved by Nepali airlines.</p>

<p>With the positive feedback from the two-member ICAO team, CAAN officials are hopeful that the European Commission (EC) will remove Nepal from its blacklist soon. The EC has banned 18 Nepali airlines from flying in the European airspace since the last four years citing air safety concerns.</p>

<p>CAAN Deputy General Manager Rajan Pokharel informed that a captain and an aeronautical engineer from the ICAO recently returned back after completing a four-day audit. The team was in Nepal to study the ban imposed by the EU on Nepali airlines. However, the final report is yet to come. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali airlines have not been able to conduct flights to the EU destinations because of the ban imposed by the European Commission on December 5, 2013.</p>

<p>The Nepali airlines that fall in the blacklist are Nepal Airlines Corporation, Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, Fishtail Air, Goma Air, Himalayan Airlines, Air Dynasty, Air Kasthamandap, Makalu Air, Manang Air, Mountain Helicopters, Muktinath Air, Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Simrik Air, Sita Air and Tara Air.</p>

<p>Besides Nepal, the European Union has also banned airlines of Afghanistan, Congo, Angola, Indonesia, Liberia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Iran and Iraq.</p>

<p>During the recent visit, ICAO studied four aspects including legal, organizational, operational and air worthiness and found all the aspects satisfactory, according to CAAN Deputy Managing Director and Spokesperson Birendra Prasad Shrestha. The team will submit the report to ICAO headquarters first and then only the ICAO will inform about the report to the CAAN, said Shrestha.&nbsp;</p>

Officials consider this seaport strategically viable than Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s Visakhapatnam, which Nepal has just started using. Dharma Port is 503.9 kilometers near than Visakhapatnam Port. However, official talks are yet to take place.</p>

<p>According to spokesperson at the Ministry of Commerce, Ravi Shankar Sainju, Nepal&rsquo;s Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay has asked the government to explore new avenues for third-country trade. He has given emphasis to Dhamra Port, informed Sainju.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We haven&rsquo;t started written correspondence though. We are discussing it at the ministerial level about the possibility of using the particular seaport in the future,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Indian Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has been reportedly telling Ambassador Upadhyay that Nepal can make the best use of Dhamra Port. Pradhan represents Orissa&rsquo;s Deugadh in the Indian parliament.</p>

<p>Ambassador Upadhyay has time and again reminded officials of the ministry to consider the possible user of the seaport.</p>

<p>Nepal has been using Kolkata&rsquo;s seaport since a long time for overseas trade. Nepal has just started using Visakhapatnam seaport since June 24. Shipping companies from Visakhapatnam deliver goods directly to Birgunj Dry Port in Nepal reducing the cost factor to a great extent. However, the seaport is 1430.5 km from Nepal&rsquo;s border while Dhamra Port is 926.6 km away.</p>

<p>Dhamra Port, which came into operation in 2011, has all the facilities that Visakhapatnam has. Nepal had decided to diversify its base for third-country trade in 2009 and had considered Visakhapatnam as an alternate option since then. But it took eight years to practically implement the idea. Nepal didn&rsquo;t pay any attention to other alternative that came into existence in between the time period.&nbsp;</p>

According to officials at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), a team of ICAO has found Nepal&rsquo;s air safety standard satisfactory after conducting an audit to evaluate the progress achieved by Nepali airlines.</p>

<p>With the positive feedback from the two-member ICAO team, CAAN officials are hopeful that the European Commission (EC) will remove Nepal from its blacklist soon. The EC has banned 18 Nepali airlines from flying in the European airspace since the last four years citing air safety concerns.</p>

<p>CAAN Deputy General Manager Rajan Pokharel informed that a captain and an aeronautical engineer from the ICAO recently returned back after completing a four-day audit. The team was in Nepal to study the ban imposed by the EU on Nepali airlines. However, the final report is yet to come. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali airlines have not been able to conduct flights to the EU destinations because of the ban imposed by the European Commission on December 5, 2013.</p>

<p>The Nepali airlines that fall in the blacklist are Nepal Airlines Corporation, Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, Fishtail Air, Goma Air, Himalayan Airlines, Air Dynasty, Air Kasthamandap, Makalu Air, Manang Air, Mountain Helicopters, Muktinath Air, Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Simrik Air, Sita Air and Tara Air.</p>

<p>Besides Nepal, the European Union has also banned airlines of Afghanistan, Congo, Angola, Indonesia, Liberia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Iran and Iraq.</p>

<p>During the recent visit, ICAO studied four aspects including legal, organizational, operational and air worthiness and found all the aspects satisfactory, according to CAAN Deputy Managing Director and Spokesperson Birendra Prasad Shrestha. The team will submit the report to ICAO headquarters first and then only the ICAO will inform about the report to the CAAN, said Shrestha.&nbsp;</p>

It is mandatory for all BFIs to close their accounts at the end of each fiscal year. As per the instructions of the Financial Comptroller General&rsquo;s Office, arrangements have been made for revenue collection through IPS till 4 pm on July 15. Besides that, the central bank will accept cheques related to revenue and settle all arrears on the same day.</p>
