<p>The budget is set to decrease due to the ceiling set by the National Planning Commission, according to which the upcoming budget will be less than the budget for the current FY.</p>

<p>A source at the NPC told New Business Age that the budget for the upcoming year will be less by around 70 billion. That means the budget will be of around Rs 1.2 trillion in accordance to the ceiling set by the NPC. The source said that the ceiling was set after repeated meetings and long analysis.</p>

<p>A high-ranking official of NPC informed that it recommended the ceiling due to the difficulty faced in the management of budget source in the current FY.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Although the country has adopted federalism, we still do not have reliable source. Therefore, we do not have any means to increase the size of budget,&rdquo; said the source on condition of anonymity.</p>

<p>The source further said that another reason for announcing the ceiling is that a large amount of money collected from internal sources will have to be allocated for the provinces and the local units.</p>

<p>The government announced a budget of Rs 1.278 trillion for the current FY, while setting a target of collecting Rs 730 billion revenue.</p>

<p>The syndicate system in transportation service has been exposed after the transport entrepreneurs operating buses along the Koteshwar-Dhulikhel section of Arniko Highway demanded revoking the route permit of a new entrant, Mayur Yatayat.</p>

<p>The Vehicle and Transportation Management Act, 2049 has clearly mentioned that public transportation companies can provide service only through open competition. However, the transportation cartel is still deep rooted in the country.</p>

<p>Transport entrepreneurs have been staging protests since Mayur Yatayat acquired route permit to operate buses along Koteshwar-Banepa section of Arniko Highway on March 15. They halted transportation for about an hour on Monday, April 2.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The bus entrepreneurs have warned of halting transportation to the east of Koteshwar if their demand is not addressed.</p>

<p>One&nbsp; of the agitating bus entrepreneurs Bala Ram Tanabasu said that they would intensify their protest if the government does not address their demand. &nbsp;&quot;Our committee has been operating 2,400 transportation vehicles. We have invested Rs 8 billion for it. The problem has occurred because of issuing route permit to a new company by the government without coordinating with us. &quot; Tulsi Ram Aryal, spokesperson at the Department of Transportation Management (DoTM) said, &quot;We have provided route permit legally to the transportation entrepreneurs. Since the Act itself has allowed everyone to come into competition, we will not entertain the demands to revoke the route permit. It would be against the law to scrap the route permit of Mayur Yatayat lawful.&quot;</p>

<p>Mayur Yatayat&rsquo;s Chairman Mohan Bahadur Shrestha informed that its service will not be stopped by the protests. &quot;We have started the service after registering the company legally and the DoTM has provided us the route permit after supervising the route,&quot; he added.</p>

<p>He further said that the company will operate its service despite the demonstrations and strikes. He informed that the company will extend its services to the rural areas as well in collaboration with the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>For the preparation phase of the census, JICA provided tablet, laptop and desktop software, satellite imagery, GIS software, UPS, external hard disks, projectors, printers, plotter, monitors, air conditioners, smart phones, server, screen, and solar power generation system to back up the operation, according to JICA.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The enumerators hired by CBS who will be visiting all the establishments throughout Nepal are equipped by JICA with logistics as bags, caps, ball pens, stickers, writing pens, note diaries, pencils and erasers, plastic bags and t-shirts. The enumerators will use questionnaires, listing forms, enumerator&rsquo;s manuals, enumerator&rsquo;s control forms, stickers, online survey manuals, map reading manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification brief manuals provided by JICA,&rdquo; reads a statement issued by JICA.</p>

<p>This is the first-ever economic census in Nepal&rsquo;s history, and covers all the establishments in the territory of Nepal except some minor industrial sectors. The census will be carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics and National Planning Commission from April 14 to June 14.</p>

The project has been launched in Nepal for the first time. The goal of the programme is to involve the young generation throughout the world in promoting the most important human values among their peers - friendship, equality, peace and respect for different cultures and nationalities.</p>

<p>The Football for Friendship (F4F)&nbsp;Open Draw&nbsp;was held in Moscow. The program has expanded from 64 countries in 2017 to&nbsp;211 countries and regions in 2018.&nbsp;Thirty-two international teams of friendship&nbsp;were formed during the open draw, as well as playing roles for each young player from each country (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward) were determined, reads a press statement issued by the company. These 32&nbsp;teams will compete in the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship&nbsp;on&nbsp;June 12.</p>

<p>As per the open draw, a young player from Nepal will play as a &ldquo;forward&rdquo; in the International Team of Friendship.</p>

<p>The teams are organized using the &quot;football for friendship&quot; principle - athletes of different nationalities, different genders and different physical abilities will play in one team. Age of players is 12. Each international mixed team of friendship will be trained by young coaches - football players of 14-16 year olds from different countries.</p>

<p>According to the press statement, national selections of participants who will become Young Ambassadors of peace, friendship and equality in their countries have started all over the world.</p>

<p>The day after the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship, the young ambassadors will meet at&nbsp;the most important event&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;The Sixth International Football for Friendship Children&rsquo;s Forum, where they will discuss ways of&nbsp;promoting the programme&rsquo;s key values across the globe.</p>

<p>During the&nbsp;International Friendship Camp,&nbsp;young players under the guidance of young coaches and under the supervision of famous players will be learning of F4F key values in the&nbsp;Nine Values School. The UN considers this initiative as a unique educational programme.</p>

<p>As an ecological initiative of Football for Friendship all the 32 International Teams of Friendship named after endangered animals of all the continents of the world.</p>

<p>Sanjib Mishra, deputy general secretary of All Nepal Football Association&nbsp;said, &ldquo;The 6th Gazprom Football for Friendship being held in collaboration with FIFA is an event that brings together children from 211 countries and regions. We are delighted to support the programme and will be nominating two young students from Nepal to participate in the programme in Moscow in June. We look forward to these young children becoming a part of a global movement of football for peace.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Before this, transport associations and committees affiliated to the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs (FNNTE) used to get route permit from the district administration offices. With the implementation of new directives, public transport operators should compulsorily register with the Company Registrar Office.</p>

<p>DoTM Spokesperson Tulsi Ram Aryal informed that they would not provide route permit to any new public transport entrepreneurs until their registration is confirmed.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;The directive was amended to eliminate the problems seen in public transport,&rdquo; he said. According to Aryal, public transport entrepreneurs will get permission for new route after been registered with the Company Register Office.</p>

<p>A source at the NPC told New Business Age that the budget for the upcoming year will be less by around 70 billion. That means the budget will be of around Rs 1.2 trillion in accordance to the ceiling set by the NPC. The source said that the ceiling was set after repeated meetings and long analysis.</p>

<p>A high-ranking official of NPC informed that it recommended the ceiling due to the difficulty faced in the management of budget source in the current FY.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Although the country has adopted federalism, we still do not have reliable source. Therefore, we do not have any means to increase the size of budget,&rdquo; said the source on condition of anonymity.</p>

<p>The source further said that another reason for announcing the ceiling is that a large amount of money collected from internal sources will have to be allocated for the provinces and the local units.</p>

<p>The government announced a budget of Rs 1.278 trillion for the current FY, while setting a target of collecting Rs 730 billion revenue.</p>

<p>The syndicate system in transportation service has been exposed after the transport entrepreneurs operating buses along the Koteshwar-Dhulikhel section of Arniko Highway demanded revoking the route permit of a new entrant, Mayur Yatayat.</p>

<p>The Vehicle and Transportation Management Act, 2049 has clearly mentioned that public transportation companies can provide service only through open competition. However, the transportation cartel is still deep rooted in the country.</p>

<p>Transport entrepreneurs have been staging protests since Mayur Yatayat acquired route permit to operate buses along Koteshwar-Banepa section of Arniko Highway on March 15. They halted transportation for about an hour on Monday, April 2.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The bus entrepreneurs have warned of halting transportation to the east of Koteshwar if their demand is not addressed.</p>

<p>One&nbsp; of the agitating bus entrepreneurs Bala Ram Tanabasu said that they would intensify their protest if the government does not address their demand. &nbsp;&quot;Our committee has been operating 2,400 transportation vehicles. We have invested Rs 8 billion for it. The problem has occurred because of issuing route permit to a new company by the government without coordinating with us. &quot; Tulsi Ram Aryal, spokesperson at the Department of Transportation Management (DoTM) said, &quot;We have provided route permit legally to the transportation entrepreneurs. Since the Act itself has allowed everyone to come into competition, we will not entertain the demands to revoke the route permit. It would be against the law to scrap the route permit of Mayur Yatayat lawful.&quot;</p>

<p>Mayur Yatayat&rsquo;s Chairman Mohan Bahadur Shrestha informed that its service will not be stopped by the protests. &quot;We have started the service after registering the company legally and the DoTM has provided us the route permit after supervising the route,&quot; he added.</p>

<p>He further said that the company will operate its service despite the demonstrations and strikes. He informed that the company will extend its services to the rural areas as well in collaboration with the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>For the successful implementation of the census, JICA said it has provided necessary goods and equipment worth of Rs 95.1 million to the CBS in 2017 and 2018.</p>

<p>For the preparation phase of the census, JICA provided tablet, laptop and desktop software, satellite imagery, GIS software, UPS, external hard disks, projectors, printers, plotter, monitors, air conditioners, smart phones, server, screen, and solar power generation system to back up the operation, according to JICA.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The enumerators hired by CBS who will be visiting all the establishments throughout Nepal are equipped by JICA with logistics as bags, caps, ball pens, stickers, writing pens, note diaries, pencils and erasers, plastic bags and t-shirts. The enumerators will use questionnaires, listing forms, enumerator&rsquo;s manuals, enumerator&rsquo;s control forms, stickers, online survey manuals, map reading manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification brief manuals provided by JICA,&rdquo; reads a statement issued by JICA.</p>

<p>This is the first-ever economic census in Nepal&rsquo;s history, and covers all the establishments in the territory of Nepal except some minor industrial sectors. The census will be carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics and National Planning Commission from April 14 to June 14.</p>

<p>The Football for Friendship (F4F)&nbsp;Open Draw&nbsp;was held in Moscow. The program has expanded from 64 countries in 2017 to&nbsp;211 countries and regions in 2018.&nbsp;Thirty-two international teams of friendship&nbsp;were formed during the open draw, as well as playing roles for each young player from each country (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward) were determined, reads a press statement issued by the company. These 32&nbsp;teams will compete in the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship&nbsp;on&nbsp;June 12.</p>

<p>As per the open draw, a young player from Nepal will play as a &ldquo;forward&rdquo; in the International Team of Friendship.</p>

<p>The teams are organized using the &quot;football for friendship&quot; principle - athletes of different nationalities, different genders and different physical abilities will play in one team. Age of players is 12. Each international mixed team of friendship will be trained by young coaches - football players of 14-16 year olds from different countries.</p>

<p>According to the press statement, national selections of participants who will become Young Ambassadors of peace, friendship and equality in their countries have started all over the world.</p>

<p>The day after the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship, the young ambassadors will meet at&nbsp;the most important event&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;The Sixth International Football for Friendship Children&rsquo;s Forum, where they will discuss ways of&nbsp;promoting the programme&rsquo;s key values across the globe.</p>

<p>During the&nbsp;International Friendship Camp,&nbsp;young players under the guidance of young coaches and under the supervision of famous players will be learning of F4F key values in the&nbsp;Nine Values School. The UN considers this initiative as a unique educational programme.</p>

<p>As an ecological initiative of Football for Friendship all the 32 International Teams of Friendship named after endangered animals of all the continents of the world.</p>

<p>Sanjib Mishra, deputy general secretary of All Nepal Football Association&nbsp;said, &ldquo;The 6th Gazprom Football for Friendship being held in collaboration with FIFA is an event that brings together children from 211 countries and regions. We are delighted to support the programme and will be nominating two young students from Nepal to participate in the programme in Moscow in June. We look forward to these young children becoming a part of a global movement of football for peace.&rdquo;</p>

With the implementation of new directives, public transport operators should compulsorily register with the Company Registrar Office.</p>

<p>DoTM Spokesperson Tulsi Ram Aryal informed that they would not provide route permit to any new public transport entrepreneurs until their registration is confirmed.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;The directive was amended to eliminate the problems seen in public transport,&rdquo; he said. According to Aryal, public transport entrepreneurs will get permission for new route after been registered with the Company Register Office.</p>

<p>A high-ranking official of NPC informed that it recommended the ceiling due to the difficulty faced in the management of budget source in the current FY.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Although the country has adopted federalism, we still do not have reliable source. Therefore, we do not have any means to increase the size of budget,&rdquo; said the source on condition of anonymity.</p>

<p>The source further said that another reason for announcing the ceiling is that a large amount of money collected from internal sources will have to be allocated for the provinces and the local units.</p>

<p>The syndicate system in transportation service has been exposed after the transport entrepreneurs operating buses along the Koteshwar-Dhulikhel section of Arniko Highway demanded revoking the route permit of a new entrant, Mayur Yatayat.</p>

<p>The Vehicle and Transportation Management Act, 2049 has clearly mentioned that public transportation companies can provide service only through open competition. However, the transportation cartel is still deep rooted in the country.</p>

<p>Transport entrepreneurs have been staging protests since Mayur Yatayat acquired route permit to operate buses along Koteshwar-Banepa section of Arniko Highway on March 15. They halted transportation for about an hour on Monday, April 2.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The bus entrepreneurs have warned of halting transportation to the east of Koteshwar if their demand is not addressed.</p>

<p>One&nbsp; of the agitating bus entrepreneurs Bala Ram Tanabasu said that they would intensify their protest if the government does not address their demand. &nbsp;&quot;Our committee has been operating 2,400 transportation vehicles. We have invested Rs 8 billion for it. The problem has occurred because of issuing route permit to a new company by the government without coordinating with us. &quot; Tulsi Ram Aryal, spokesperson at the Department of Transportation Management (DoTM) said, &quot;We have provided route permit legally to the transportation entrepreneurs. Since the Act itself has allowed everyone to come into competition, we will not entertain the demands to revoke the route permit. It would be against the law to scrap the route permit of Mayur Yatayat lawful.&quot;</p>

<p>Mayur Yatayat&rsquo;s Chairman Mohan Bahadur Shrestha informed that its service will not be stopped by the protests. &quot;We have started the service after registering the company legally and the DoTM has provided us the route permit after supervising the route,&quot; he added.</p>

<p>He further said that the company will operate its service despite the demonstrations and strikes. He informed that the company will extend its services to the rural areas as well in collaboration with the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>According to the company, prefabrication of the eCentre has commenced at Flexenclosure&rsquo;s manufacturing plant in Sweden, where it will also be tested before being shipped to the Philippines for on-site construction.&nbsp; It is expected to be commissioned and fully operational early in the third quarter of this year.</p>

<p>Flexenclosure has teamed up with Orissa Wicomm to deliver the new facility, with Manila-based Orissa providing system integration and ongoing support once it is operational.</p>

<p>For the preparation phase of the census, JICA provided tablet, laptop and desktop software, satellite imagery, GIS software, UPS, external hard disks, projectors, printers, plotter, monitors, air conditioners, smart phones, server, screen, and solar power generation system to back up the operation, according to JICA.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The enumerators hired by CBS who will be visiting all the establishments throughout Nepal are equipped by JICA with logistics as bags, caps, ball pens, stickers, writing pens, note diaries, pencils and erasers, plastic bags and t-shirts. The enumerators will use questionnaires, listing forms, enumerator&rsquo;s manuals, enumerator&rsquo;s control forms, stickers, online survey manuals, map reading manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification brief manuals provided by JICA,&rdquo; reads a statement issued by JICA.</p>

<p>This is the first-ever economic census in Nepal&rsquo;s history, and covers all the establishments in the territory of Nepal except some minor industrial sectors. The census will be carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics and National Planning Commission from April 14 to June 14.</p>

<p>The Football for Friendship (F4F)&nbsp;Open Draw&nbsp;was held in Moscow. The program has expanded from 64 countries in 2017 to&nbsp;211 countries and regions in 2018.&nbsp;Thirty-two international teams of friendship&nbsp;were formed during the open draw, as well as playing roles for each young player from each country (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward) were determined, reads a press statement issued by the company. These 32&nbsp;teams will compete in the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship&nbsp;on&nbsp;June 12.</p>

<p>As per the open draw, a young player from Nepal will play as a &ldquo;forward&rdquo; in the International Team of Friendship.</p>

<p>The teams are organized using the &quot;football for friendship&quot; principle - athletes of different nationalities, different genders and different physical abilities will play in one team. Age of players is 12. Each international mixed team of friendship will be trained by young coaches - football players of 14-16 year olds from different countries.</p>

<p>According to the press statement, national selections of participants who will become Young Ambassadors of peace, friendship and equality in their countries have started all over the world.</p>

<p>The day after the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship, the young ambassadors will meet at&nbsp;the most important event&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;The Sixth International Football for Friendship Children&rsquo;s Forum, where they will discuss ways of&nbsp;promoting the programme&rsquo;s key values across the globe.</p>

<p>During the&nbsp;International Friendship Camp,&nbsp;young players under the guidance of young coaches and under the supervision of famous players will be learning of F4F key values in the&nbsp;Nine Values School. The UN considers this initiative as a unique educational programme.</p>

<p>As an ecological initiative of Football for Friendship all the 32 International Teams of Friendship named after endangered animals of all the continents of the world.</p>

<p>Sanjib Mishra, deputy general secretary of All Nepal Football Association&nbsp;said, &ldquo;The 6th Gazprom Football for Friendship being held in collaboration with FIFA is an event that brings together children from 211 countries and regions. We are delighted to support the programme and will be nominating two young students from Nepal to participate in the programme in Moscow in June. We look forward to these young children becoming a part of a global movement of football for peace.&rdquo;</p>

With the implementation of new directives, public transport operators should compulsorily register with the Company Registrar Office.</p>

<p>DoTM Spokesperson Tulsi Ram Aryal informed that they would not provide route permit to any new public transport entrepreneurs until their registration is confirmed.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;The directive was amended to eliminate the problems seen in public transport,&rdquo; he said. According to Aryal, public transport entrepreneurs will get permission for new route after been registered with the Company Register Office.</p>

<p>The budget is set to decrease due to the ceiling set by the National Planning Commission, according to which the upcoming budget will be less than the budget for the current FY.</p>

<p>A source at the NPC told New Business Age that the budget for the upcoming year will be less by around 70 billion. That means the budget will be of around Rs 1.2 trillion in accordance to the ceiling set by the NPC. The source said that the ceiling was set after repeated meetings and long analysis.</p>

<p>A high-ranking official of NPC informed that it recommended the ceiling due to the difficulty faced in the management of budget source in the current FY.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Although the country has adopted federalism, we still do not have reliable source. Therefore, we do not have any means to increase the size of budget,&rdquo; said the source on condition of anonymity.</p>

<p>The source further said that another reason for announcing the ceiling is that a large amount of money collected from internal sources will have to be allocated for the provinces and the local units.</p>

<p>The government announced a budget of Rs 1.278 trillion for the current FY, while setting a target of collecting Rs 730 billion revenue.</p>

<p>The syndicate system in transportation service has been exposed after the transport entrepreneurs operating buses along the Koteshwar-Dhulikhel section of Arniko Highway demanded revoking the route permit of a new entrant, Mayur Yatayat.</p>

<p>The Vehicle and Transportation Management Act, 2049 has clearly mentioned that public transportation companies can provide service only through open competition. However, the transportation cartel is still deep rooted in the country.</p>

<p>Transport entrepreneurs have been staging protests since Mayur Yatayat acquired route permit to operate buses along Koteshwar-Banepa section of Arniko Highway on March 15. They halted transportation for about an hour on Monday, April 2.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The bus entrepreneurs have warned of halting transportation to the east of Koteshwar if their demand is not addressed.</p>

<p>One&nbsp; of the agitating bus entrepreneurs Bala Ram Tanabasu said that they would intensify their protest if the government does not address their demand. &nbsp;&quot;Our committee has been operating 2,400 transportation vehicles. We have invested Rs 8 billion for it. The problem has occurred because of issuing route permit to a new company by the government without coordinating with us. &quot; Tulsi Ram Aryal, spokesperson at the Department of Transportation Management (DoTM) said, &quot;We have provided route permit legally to the transportation entrepreneurs. Since the Act itself has allowed everyone to come into competition, we will not entertain the demands to revoke the route permit. It would be against the law to scrap the route permit of Mayur Yatayat lawful.&quot;</p>

<p>Mayur Yatayat&rsquo;s Chairman Mohan Bahadur Shrestha informed that its service will not be stopped by the protests. &quot;We have started the service after registering the company legally and the DoTM has provided us the route permit after supervising the route,&quot; he added.</p>

<p>He further said that the company will operate its service despite the demonstrations and strikes. He informed that the company will extend its services to the rural areas as well in collaboration with the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The enumerators hired by CBS who will be visiting all the establishments throughout Nepal are equipped by JICA with logistics as bags, caps, ball pens, stickers, writing pens, note diaries, pencils and erasers, plastic bags and t-shirts. The enumerators will use questionnaires, listing forms, enumerator&rsquo;s manuals, enumerator&rsquo;s control forms, stickers, online survey manuals, map reading manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification manuals, Nepal standard industrial classification brief manuals provided by JICA,&rdquo; reads a statement issued by JICA.</p>

<p>This is the first-ever economic census in Nepal&rsquo;s history, and covers all the establishments in the territory of Nepal except some minor industrial sectors. The census will be carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics and National Planning Commission from April 14 to June 14.</p>

The program has expanded from 64 countries in 2017 to&nbsp;211 countries and regions in 2018.&nbsp;Thirty-two international teams of friendship&nbsp;were formed during the open draw, as well as playing roles for each young player from each country (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward) were determined, reads a press statement issued by the company. These 32&nbsp;teams will compete in the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship&nbsp;on&nbsp;June 12.</p>

<p>As per the open draw, a young player from Nepal will play as a &ldquo;forward&rdquo; in the International Team of Friendship.</p>

<p>The teams are organized using the &quot;football for friendship&quot; principle - athletes of different nationalities, different genders and different physical abilities will play in one team. Age of players is 12. Each international mixed team of friendship will be trained by young coaches - football players of 14-16 year olds from different countries.</p>

<p>According to the press statement, national selections of participants who will become Young Ambassadors of peace, friendship and equality in their countries have started all over the world.</p>

<p>The day after the&nbsp;Football for Friendship World Championship, the young ambassadors will meet at&nbsp;the most important event&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;The Sixth International Football for Friendship Children&rsquo;s Forum, where they will discuss ways of&nbsp;promoting the programme&rsquo;s key values across the globe.</p>

<p>During the&nbsp;International Friendship Camp,&nbsp;young players under the guidance of young coaches and under the supervision of famous players will be learning of F4F key values in the&nbsp;Nine Values School. The UN considers this initiative as a unique educational programme.</p>

With the implementation of new directives, public transport operators should compulsorily register with the Company Registrar Office.</p>

<p>DoTM Spokesperson Tulsi Ram Aryal informed that they would not provide route permit to any new public transport entrepreneurs until their registration is confirmed.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;The directive was amended to eliminate the problems seen in public transport,&rdquo; he said. According to Aryal, public transport entrepreneurs will get permission for new route after been registered with the Company Register Office.</p>

			'content' => '<p>April 1: Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada has issued a white paper stating that the economy of the country is very challenging. The white paper issued on March 30 states that internal and foreign capital are necessary for the economic development of the country. Khatiwada said that the government is committed to make improvement in policy and management level.</p>

<p>The white paper further says that the government has not been able to create an environment to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The environment for investment is not attractive. We have to make an effort to discourage money laundering,&rdquo; Minister Khatiwada read out a statement from the white paper.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Khatiwada also gave a hint that he would adopt strict measures in revenue collection arguing that the flourishing informal economy has limited revenue collection. He said that the government will adopt austerity measures since the announcement of budget.</p>

<p>The Macro Economic Report of Nepal Ratsra Bank (NRB) for the last seven months shows that most of the economic indicators are pessimistic. The report has mentioned rise in inflation, increasing trade deficit and deficit in balance of payment.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
