The competition was announced amid a function organized in capital on Wednesday, June 6.</p> <p>The competition is open for all amateur and professional photographers and photo journalists all over Nepal. The registration of the photographs is open for 15 days from June 6 to 20 through official website of PJ Club www.pjclub.com.np.</p> <p>The prospective participants should send their photographs in seven thematic categories. The categories are Daily Life, News, Nature and Wildlife, Culture and Tourism, Nepal Smiles, Sports and Photo Story.</p> <p>Speaking at the program, President of PJ Club, Bikash Karki said that the photographs sent for the competition should follow the basic guideline set by the club. “Those photographs that are taken by foreigners and outside Nepal are not eligible for the competition, unless it falls under sports category where Nepali players' activities are captured.” Karki also pointed out that the news photo categories should have been captured between 2073 and 2074 BS.</p> <p>The competition is expected to be participated by more than 1,500 photographers with entry of more than 13,000 photos.
