<p>Nine movies made by nine participant teams were screened at Rastriya Nach Ghar, Jamal.</p>

<p>The panel of judges included Laxminath Sharma, Niranjan Raj Bhetwal and Deepak Tiwari.</p>

<p>The winner of the Apex Short Movie Festival was the movie &ldquo;Second&rdquo; by F2 Production. Meanwhile the movie &ldquo;The Artist&rdquo; by Ghoda Ghodi Production and &ldquo;Syabash&rdquo; by The Kalu Pandey Production won the second and third positions respectively.</p>

<p>Chief guest Sunil Thapa announced one-year scholarship at the Everest Film Academy to the winners.</p>

<p>The Short Movie Festival was sponsored by Allocacoc, Kailash Bikas Bank, Dairy Development Corporation (DDC), Everest Film Academy and Mood on Coffee and Cafe.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has been named &ldquo;Makalu&rdquo; by the airline. NAC had brought its first Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; last month on June 28.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC informed New Business Age that the aircraft with call sign 9N-ALZ landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 9 am on Thursday morning. Makalu Airbus A330 was operated by the pilots from the Airbus company. The aircraft landed in Kathmandu after nine hours long voyage from Tousle, France.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Saugat Ratna Kansakar, managing director of NAC, informed that the aircraft will start international operations shortly after completing all the technical test of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has a seating capacity of 274 seats for the passengers and is divided into two configuration, 18 seats for business class and 256 seats for economy class.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The airline in a statement informed that it will operate both the wide-body aircraft to its regular eight international destinations. NAC also plans to operate the aircraft to Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia shortly.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The flag carrier of Nepal has also made plans to extend its international destinations and aims to hold 18 percent of international aviation market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">At present, the airline owns 10 percent of the international market and expects to own additional 8 percent after the operation of the two wide-body aircraft. Saugat Ratna Kansakar informed that the operation of the first wide-body aircraft will begin from mid-August and the second aircraft will start operation days later.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC plans to operate the first wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; to Bangalore, Doha and Bangkok and then extend the operation to other destinations.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Kansakar, NAC is following the international protocol of operating new aircraft to regular destinations first rather than flying to new airfields.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Travel and tour business operators are excited with the arrival of the new wide-body aircraft. They believe the aircraft will help boost the tourism business of the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They informed that the government should now focus on development of infrastructure for attracting more tourists to the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The organiser expressed its belief that this event shall be a medium to enhance trade and cultural relations between Nepal and China under &quot;The&nbsp;Belt and Road Initiative&nbsp;(BRI)&quot;&nbsp;.</p>

<p>The Chinese manufacturers will display and sell their latest consumer items like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, stationery, daily supplies, tools and hardware, sporting equipment, kitchenware and virtual world gadgets etc during the expo.</p>

<p>Concurrently, the indigenous Nepali manufacturers will also have a platform to showcase their products not only to the local public but also potentially for export. The expected footfall during the day-event is around 200,000.</p>

<p>CEO Kandel informed that the use and influence of helicopter service in Nepal is very popular amongst the tourists and the company has planned to bring its third helicopter to address the increasing demand.</p>

<p>He informed that the introduction of new helicopter company in the aviation industry has made the market competitive . At present, 10 different helicopter operators with 28 choppers are performing air transportation service in Nepal.</p>

<p>According to Kandel, though the number of operators and helicopters have increased, the market is limited.</p>

<p>The competition managed by PJ Club accepted photos for the competition via online submission from July 3 to 21. The organizers had received 485 pictures in total for both categories including 119 photos under tourism activity category and 339 for tourism destination.</p>

<p>The panel of judges comprised of Diwar Poudyal, secretary of trade, tourism and environment ministry for Gandaki Province; Surya Thapaliya, chairman of Pokhara Tourism Board; Bikash Karki, president of PJ Club; Krishna Mani Baral, former chairman of Kaski chapter of PJ Club; and Bijay Gajmer, photo journalist at Nagarik Daily .</p>

<p>The winners in each category received cash prize of Rs 30,000, &nbsp;Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 along with the award.</p>

<p>Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Basnet said that Nepal&rsquo;s tourism industry cannot be promoted unless Mt Everest and other mountains are preserved and promoted. Informing that the government has started Clean Nepal Campaign, Basnet assured that the campaign will take initiative to clean Mt Everest. He even claimed that he would put the issue in front of developed nations and make effort to get their support.</p>

<p>Likewise, former president of Nepal Mountaineering Association, Ang Tshering Sherpa, said that the changes in ecosystem and increasing global warming are affecting mountains and rivers as well as the livelihood of the mountain-dwellers in Nepal. Saying that the Everest Cleanliness Campaign is a challenging task, he informed that with their individual effort they have been collecting the garbage of Everest area since 2008.</p>

<p>Similarly, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal&rsquo;s BOD member Nima Nuru Sherpa also said that since Everest is Nepal&rsquo;s identity, cleanliness of the area is important.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has been named &ldquo;Makalu&rdquo; by the airline. NAC had brought its first Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; last month on June 28.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC informed New Business Age that the aircraft with call sign 9N-ALZ landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 9 am on Thursday morning. Makalu Airbus A330 was operated by the pilots from the Airbus company. The aircraft landed in Kathmandu after nine hours long voyage from Tousle, France.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Saugat Ratna Kansakar, managing director of NAC, informed that the aircraft will start international operations shortly after completing all the technical test of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has a seating capacity of 274 seats for the passengers and is divided into two configuration, 18 seats for business class and 256 seats for economy class.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The airline in a statement informed that it will operate both the wide-body aircraft to its regular eight international destinations. NAC also plans to operate the aircraft to Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia shortly.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The flag carrier of Nepal has also made plans to extend its international destinations and aims to hold 18 percent of international aviation market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">At present, the airline owns 10 percent of the international market and expects to own additional 8 percent after the operation of the two wide-body aircraft. Saugat Ratna Kansakar informed that the operation of the first wide-body aircraft will begin from mid-August and the second aircraft will start operation days later.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC plans to operate the first wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; to Bangalore, Doha and Bangkok and then extend the operation to other destinations.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Kansakar, NAC is following the international protocol of operating new aircraft to regular destinations first rather than flying to new airfields.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Travel and tour business operators are excited with the arrival of the new wide-body aircraft. They believe the aircraft will help boost the tourism business of the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They informed that the government should now focus on development of infrastructure for attracting more tourists to the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Chinese manufacturers will display and sell their latest consumer items like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, stationery, daily supplies, tools and hardware, sporting equipment, kitchenware and virtual world gadgets etc during the expo.</p>

<p>Concurrently, the indigenous Nepali manufacturers will also have a platform to showcase their products not only to the local public but also potentially for export. The expected footfall during the day-event is around 200,000.</p>

<p>Photographers from across the country had sent their photos for the photography competition which was held with the technical support from Photo Journalism Club. According to PJ Club, the open photography competition was divided into two categories - tourism activity and tourism destination.</p>

<p>Merit Maharjan won the award for the best photography in tourism activity segment. He was followed by Dev Dangol and Aditya Chand. Dev Dangol won the consolation price in the category.</p>

<p>Likewise, Prakash Budathoki won the award for the best tourism destination photography. Udim Shakya won the second prize and Gahendra Gurung third. Similarly, Shirish BC won the consolation price.</p>

<p>The competition managed by PJ Club accepted photos for the competition via online submission from July 3 to 21. The organizers had received 485 pictures in total for both categories including 119 photos under tourism activity category and 339 for tourism destination.</p>

<p>The panel of judges comprised of Diwar Poudyal, secretary of trade, tourism and environment ministry for Gandaki Province; Surya Thapaliya, chairman of Pokhara Tourism Board; Bikash Karki, president of PJ Club; Krishna Mani Baral, former chairman of Kaski chapter of PJ Club; and Bijay Gajmer, photo journalist at Nagarik Daily .</p>

<p>The winners in each category received cash prize of Rs 30,000, &nbsp;Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 along with the award.</p>

Saying that the Everest Cleanliness Campaign is a challenging task, he informed that with their individual effort they have been collecting the garbage of Everest area since 2008.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has been named &ldquo;Makalu&rdquo; by the airline. NAC had brought its first Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; last month on June 28.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC informed New Business Age that the aircraft with call sign 9N-ALZ landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 9 am on Thursday morning. Makalu Airbus A330 was operated by the pilots from the Airbus company. The aircraft landed in Kathmandu after nine hours long voyage from Tousle, France.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Saugat Ratna Kansakar, managing director of NAC, informed that the aircraft will start international operations shortly after completing all the technical test of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has a seating capacity of 274 seats for the passengers and is divided into two configuration, 18 seats for business class and 256 seats for economy class.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The airline in a statement informed that it will operate both the wide-body aircraft to its regular eight international destinations. NAC also plans to operate the aircraft to Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia shortly.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The flag carrier of Nepal has also made plans to extend its international destinations and aims to hold 18 percent of international aviation market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">At present, the airline owns 10 percent of the international market and expects to own additional 8 percent after the operation of the two wide-body aircraft. Saugat Ratna Kansakar informed that the operation of the first wide-body aircraft will begin from mid-August and the second aircraft will start operation days later.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC plans to operate the first wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; to Bangalore, Doha and Bangkok and then extend the operation to other destinations.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Kansakar, NAC is following the international protocol of operating new aircraft to regular destinations first rather than flying to new airfields.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Travel and tour business operators are excited with the arrival of the new wide-body aircraft. They believe the aircraft will help boost the tourism business of the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They informed that the government should now focus on development of infrastructure for attracting more tourists to the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Chinese manufacturers will display and sell their latest consumer items like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, stationery, daily supplies, tools and hardware, sporting equipment, kitchenware and virtual world gadgets etc during the expo.</p>

<p>Concurrently, the indigenous Nepali manufacturers will also have a platform to showcase their products not only to the local public but also potentially for export. The expected footfall during the day-event is around 200,000.</p>

<p>The competition managed by PJ Club accepted photos for the competition via online submission from July 3 to 21. The organizers had received 485 pictures in total for both categories including 119 photos under tourism activity category and 339 for tourism destination.</p>

<p>The panel of judges comprised of Diwar Poudyal, secretary of trade, tourism and environment ministry for Gandaki Province; Surya Thapaliya, chairman of Pokhara Tourism Board; Bikash Karki, president of PJ Club; Krishna Mani Baral, former chairman of Kaski chapter of PJ Club; and Bijay Gajmer, photo journalist at Nagarik Daily .</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has been named &ldquo;Makalu&rdquo; by the airline. NAC had brought its first Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; last month on June 28.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC informed New Business Age that the aircraft with call sign 9N-ALZ landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 9 am on Thursday morning. Makalu Airbus A330 was operated by the pilots from the Airbus company. The aircraft landed in Kathmandu after nine hours long voyage from Tousle, France.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Saugat Ratna Kansakar, managing director of NAC, informed that the aircraft will start international operations shortly after completing all the technical test of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aircraft has a seating capacity of 274 seats for the passengers and is divided into two configuration, 18 seats for business class and 256 seats for economy class.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The airline in a statement informed that it will operate both the wide-body aircraft to its regular eight international destinations. NAC also plans to operate the aircraft to Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia shortly.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The flag carrier of Nepal has also made plans to extend its international destinations and aims to hold 18 percent of international aviation market.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">At present, the airline owns 10 percent of the international market and expects to own additional 8 percent after the operation of the two wide-body aircraft. Saugat Ratna Kansakar informed that the operation of the first wide-body aircraft will begin from mid-August and the second aircraft will start operation days later.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">NAC plans to operate the first wide-body aircraft &ldquo;Annapurna&rdquo; to Bangalore, Doha and Bangkok and then extend the operation to other destinations.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Kansakar, NAC is following the international protocol of operating new aircraft to regular destinations first rather than flying to new airfields.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Travel and tour business operators are excited with the arrival of the new wide-body aircraft. They believe the aircraft will help boost the tourism business of the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They informed that the government should now focus on development of infrastructure for attracting more tourists to the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Chinese manufacturers will display and sell their latest consumer items like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, stationery, daily supplies, tools and hardware, sporting equipment, kitchenware and virtual world gadgets etc during the expo.</p>

<p>Concurrently, the indigenous Nepali manufacturers will also have a platform to showcase their products not only to the local public but also potentially for export. The expected footfall during the day-event is around 200,000.</p>

<p>Tourists basically charter helicopters in Nepal for sightseeing, aerial photography, rescue and heli picnic purposes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>CEO Kandel informed that the use and influence of helicopter service in Nepal is very popular amongst the tourists and the company has planned to bring its third helicopter to address the increasing demand.</p>

<p>He informed that the introduction of new helicopter company in the aviation industry has made the market competitive . At present, 10 different helicopter operators with 28 choppers are performing air transportation service in Nepal.</p>

<p>According to Kandel, though the number of operators and helicopters have increased, the market is limited.</p>

<p>Likewise, Prakash Budathoki won the award for the best tourism destination photography. Udim Shakya won the second prize and Gahendra Gurung third. Similarly, Shirish BC won the consolation price.</p>

<p>The competition managed by PJ Club accepted photos for the competition via online submission from July 3 to 21. The organizers had received 485 pictures in total for both categories including 119 photos under tourism activity category and 339 for tourism destination.</p>

<p>The panel of judges comprised of Diwar Poudyal, secretary of trade, tourism and environment ministry for Gandaki Province; Surya Thapaliya, chairman of Pokhara Tourism Board; Bikash Karki, president of PJ Club; Krishna Mani Baral, former chairman of Kaski chapter of PJ Club; and Bijay Gajmer, photo journalist at Nagarik Daily .</p>

<p>The winners in each category received cash prize of Rs 30,000, &nbsp;Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 along with the award.</p>

Saying that the Everest Cleanliness Campaign is a challenging task, he informed that with their individual effort they have been collecting the garbage of Everest area since 2008.</p>

<p>Similarly, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal&rsquo;s BOD member Nima Nuru Sherpa also said that since Everest is Nepal&rsquo;s identity, cleanliness of the area is important.</p>
