November 18: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari inaugurated Shree Saraswati Tika Higher Secondary School, in Lekhnath Municipality built with Indian assistance worth Rs 37.1 million.
Issuing a statement, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu said that the School is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and offers plus two (10+2) programs, and has about 1100 students of which about 45 percent are girls.
Likewise, the Indian Embassy said that other two educational institutions – Shree Laxmi Adarsha Multiple Campus and Gupteshwar Mahadev Multiple Campus – were also built with Indian assistance of Rs 48.40 million and 41.10 million respectively.
The embassy expressed its belief that the newly built infrastructures would not only boost the learning environment of students but also enhance access to education to students of Kaski, Syangia, Parbat, Myagdi, and Tanahun districts.
