May 28: The number of individuals obtaining labour permits for overseas employment in the country has surpassed 5.5 million.

According to the economic survey report unveiled in the Federal Parliament on Sunday, a grand total of 5,526,704 labour permits have been granted until the month of Falgun 2079.

 Furthermore, during the current fiscal year, up until mid-March,  as many as  337,144 labour permits were issued for foreign employment.
