<p style="text-align: justify;">The fair is being organized with a support of Trade and Exports Promotion Centre. The fair will have 340 stalls including domestic and foreign. Countries including China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Thailand will be participating in the fair. China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand have booked 85, 10, 20, 50 and two stalls respectively for the fair, informed the organiser.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The fair will have handicrafts, tourism, information technology, agricultural products, energy, construction, education, medicines and iron and steel stalls. Similarly, the fair will also include various stalls of readymade dresses, leather products, new technology and equipments, food items, furniture, fashion wear, home decor and service sectors. Likewise, the fair will showcase Nepali herbal products in 35 stalls. Moreover, 70 stalls will exhibit agricultural products of Himali Project. International Labor Organisation (ILO) have supported the fair and will provide information about employment through employment information center, the organiser informed.</p>

Dipak Kumar Pokharel, Chairman of the airlines said, &quot;Currently the airlines is conducting its flights to Biratnagar, Bhadrapur and Nepalgunj. Now, it will conduct its flights to Dhangadi and Bhairhawa through the new craft.&quot; As per Mukesh Khanal, Marketing Head of the company, the airlines is planning to promote and conduct market activities through travel agencies. The new craft will start its flights within a few days, inform the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The craft is made in Canada and worth Rs 1 billion. We believe that the craft will fall under the choice of the customers as it is comfortable and fast, said Khanal. The airlines is conducting its flights since December 2014.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The conference which was coordinated by the NMB Bank drew conclusions for contributing by the banks for economic and social transformation while internalizing the concept of value-based banking.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank Upendra Poudyal said the conference was focused on six principles of banking. He said the main objective of the conference was to convey a message on thinking about livelihood of the people rather than profit. The main conclusion of the conference is that banks should run their businesses on the basis of&nbsp;&nbsp; triple bottom line - people, planet and prosperity.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He also said the value-based banking was not taken seriously in Nepal so far.&nbsp; &quot;The Nepal Rastra Bank has directed us about expanding branches in villages, investing in productive sector and has specified the target sector, but the banks are so far focusing on quick profit only,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He said the principles presented by the NMB Bank on value-based banking were compatible with the country.&nbsp; The bank had presented report on the success of businesses of tempo drivers, small investment in Nepali paper industries and the impact of micro hydro projects.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;All the participants in the conference called on all the stakeholders for moving ahead in cohesion for the expansion of value -based banking to bring about improvement in the lifestyle of the local communities.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">They also informed that their programmes were focused on uplifting the local communities and to cooperate in local entrepreneurship while conserving the environment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The eighth conference of GABV headquartered in the Netherlands was held in Netherlands itself and the tenth will be held in Peru.&nbsp; The conference was the annual programme of the GABV.&nbsp; They discussed on the future leadership to move ahead value-based banking concept effectively. &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Some 120 participants from 28 countries of Asia, Africa, Australia, South and North America and Europe, including ministers, central bank governors and CEOs of 43 financial institutions and board members had participated in the conference. Banking experience of each other was exchanged in the four sessions of the conference.</p>

The agreement which took place five years ago is valid till March. The new draft also contains a provision that makes the country import 100 per cent fuel from India. <p style="text-align: justify;">The new draft also include a mechanism where IOC will not only provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC but will also process the crude oil if Nepal imports fuel from the third country, informed the domestic corporation. &nbsp;Moreover, the neighboring country will also give access to its infrastructure if Nepal purchases crude oil from the third country, according to the new draft. &ldquo;Similarly, the draft also contain a provision that states if Nepal purchase crude oil from any third country, India will provide its refinery on lease to process the oil,&rdquo; &nbsp;said Sita Ram Pokharel, Chief of Distribution Department of NOC. He also clarified that it has been agreed that India will easily provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC if it starts its own refinery in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the NOC , after a long discussion between high officials of both corporations, the agreement got its final structure.&nbsp; As per a source, the draft also contain a provision that said the current new draft will not restrict in operating refinery in Nepal and IOC will supply 100 per cent fuel meeting the demand of Nepal.&nbsp; The draft finalised the issue of renewing fuel purchase agreement for next five years. The new agreement will come into effect from coming April to March 31, 2022.&nbsp;</p>

However, the ministry has not responded to the modality till date, as per the board. On the other hand, Dinesh Ghimire, Spokesperson of the ministry said that it has not received any such documents. The ministry has listed the HEP in the projects to be developed as company model. As per this, joint investment from government, public and foreign investors is provisioned.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Initially, power generated from the project has been targeted to export to India. Due to which, Stat Kraft Nor fund Company (NS Power) had surveyed the project. However, declining electricity price in India led the company to withdraw its decision.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Presently, Energy Ministry is planning to consume the power generated in the country itself. It is rumored that the project which was initially set to build at 880 MW capacity will be now built with 650 MW capacity. &ldquo;Without detail study, the exact capacity could not be determined,&rdquo; said Ghimire. He added &ldquo;if the water level, geographical condition favors, the HEP will be built with high capacity.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The HEP will be developed as Picking-Run-Of-River project. It can accumulate 157.8 million cubic water for one and half month. The reservoir will affect 424 hectors surrounding land.&nbsp;</p>

The bank informed that the interested parties would have to submit their sealed auction trading application by 1500 hours today. The Treasury bills will be allocated on March 14. Now, it will conduct its flights to Dhangadi and Bhairhawa through the new craft.&quot; As per Mukesh Khanal, Marketing Head of the company, the airlines is planning to promote and conduct market activities through travel agencies. The new craft will start its flights within a few days, inform the company.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The craft is made in Canada and worth Rs 1 billion. We believe that the craft will fall under the choice of the customers as it is comfortable and fast, said Khanal. The airlines is conducting its flights since December 2014.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The conference which was coordinated by the NMB Bank drew conclusions for contributing by the banks for economic and social transformation while internalizing the concept of value-based banking.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank Upendra Poudyal said the conference was focused on six principles of banking. He said the main objective of the conference was to convey a message on thinking about livelihood of the people rather than profit. The main conclusion of the conference is that banks should run their businesses on the basis of&nbsp;&nbsp; triple bottom line - people, planet and prosperity.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He also said the value-based banking was not taken seriously in Nepal so far.&nbsp; &quot;The Nepal Rastra Bank has directed us about expanding branches in villages, investing in productive sector and has specified the target sector, but the banks are so far focusing on quick profit only,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He said the principles presented by the NMB Bank on value-based banking were compatible with the country.&nbsp; The bank had presented report on the success of businesses of tempo drivers, small investment in Nepali paper industries and the impact of micro hydro projects.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;All the participants in the conference called on all the stakeholders for moving ahead in cohesion for the expansion of value -based banking to bring about improvement in the lifestyle of the local communities.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">They also informed that their programmes were focused on uplifting the local communities and to cooperate in local entrepreneurship while conserving the environment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The eighth conference of GABV headquartered in the Netherlands was held in Netherlands itself and the tenth will be held in Peru.&nbsp; The conference was the annual programme of the GABV.&nbsp; They discussed on the future leadership to move ahead value-based banking concept effectively. &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Some 120 participants from 28 countries of Asia, Africa, Australia, South and North America and Europe, including ministers, central bank governors and CEOs of 43 financial institutions and board members had participated in the conference. Banking experience of each other was exchanged in the four sessions of the conference.</p>

The agreement which took place five years ago is valid till March. The new draft also contains a provision that makes the country import 100 per cent fuel from India. However, a provision giving Nepal freedom to import fuel from any third country if IOC fails to deliver the fuel as per demand has also been included in the new draft. NOC that import fuel only from the Indian corporation has obtained IOC approval to import fuel from the third country as well.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The new draft also include a mechanism where IOC will not only provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC but will also process the crude oil if Nepal imports fuel from the third country, informed the domestic corporation. &nbsp;Moreover, the neighboring country will also give access to its infrastructure if Nepal purchases crude oil from the third country, according to the new draft. &ldquo;Similarly, the draft also contain a provision that states if Nepal purchase crude oil from any third country, India will provide its refinery on lease to process the oil,&rdquo; &nbsp;said Sita Ram Pokharel, Chief of Distribution Department of NOC. He also clarified that it has been agreed that India will easily provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC if it starts its own refinery in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the NOC , after a long discussion between high officials of both corporations, the agreement got its final structure.&nbsp; As per a source, the draft also contain a provision that said the current new draft will not restrict in operating refinery in Nepal and IOC will supply 100 per cent fuel meeting the demand of Nepal.&nbsp; The draft finalised the issue of renewing fuel purchase agreement for next five years. The new agreement will come into effect from coming April to March 31, 2022.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The board has already sent the development modality of Tamakoshi-3 to Energy Ministry one month ago. However, the ministry has not responded to the modality till date, as per the board. On the other hand, Dinesh Ghimire, Spokesperson of the ministry said that it has not received any such documents. The ministry has listed the HEP in the projects to be developed as company model. As per this, joint investment from government, public and foreign investors is provisioned.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Initially, power generated from the project has been targeted to export to India. Due to which, Stat Kraft Nor fund Company (NS Power) had surveyed the project. However, declining electricity price in India led the company to withdraw its decision.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Presently, Energy Ministry is planning to consume the power generated in the country itself. It is rumored that the project which was initially set to build at 880 MW capacity will be now built with 650 MW capacity. &ldquo;Without detail study, the exact capacity could not be determined,&rdquo; said Ghimire. He added &ldquo;if the water level, geographical condition favors, the HEP will be built with high capacity.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The HEP will be developed as Picking-Run-Of-River project. It can accumulate 157.8 million cubic water for one and half month. The reservoir will affect 424 hectors surrounding land.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He said the principles presented by the NMB Bank on value-based banking were compatible with the country.&nbsp; The bank had presented report on the success of businesses of tempo drivers, small investment in Nepali paper industries and the impact of micro hydro projects.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;All the participants in the conference called on all the stakeholders for moving ahead in cohesion for the expansion of value -based banking to bring about improvement in the lifestyle of the local communities.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Some 120 participants from 28 countries of Asia, Africa, Australia, South and North America and Europe, including ministers, central bank governors and CEOs of 43 financial institutions and board members had participated in the conference. <p style="text-align: justify;">The new draft also include a mechanism where IOC will not only provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC but will also process the crude oil if Nepal imports fuel from the third country, informed the domestic corporation. &nbsp;Moreover, the neighboring country will also give access to its infrastructure if Nepal purchases crude oil from the third country, according to the new draft. &ldquo;Similarly, the draft also contain a provision that states if Nepal purchase crude oil from any third country, India will provide its refinery on lease to process the oil,&rdquo; &nbsp;said Sita Ram Pokharel, Chief of Distribution Department of NOC. He also clarified that it has been agreed that India will easily provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC if it starts its own refinery in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the NOC , after a long discussion between high officials of both corporations, the agreement got its final structure.&nbsp; As per a source, the draft also contain a provision that said the current new draft will not restrict in operating refinery in Nepal and IOC will supply 100 per cent fuel meeting the demand of Nepal.&nbsp; The draft finalised the issue of renewing fuel purchase agreement for next five years. The ministry has listed the HEP in the projects to be developed as company model. As per this, joint investment from government, public and foreign investors is provisioned.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Initially, power generated from the project has been targeted to export to India. Due to which, Stat Kraft Nor fund Company (NS Power) had surveyed the project. However, declining electricity price in India led the company to withdraw its decision.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Presently, Energy Ministry is planning to consume the power generated in the country itself. It is rumored that the project which was initially set to build at 880 MW capacity will be now built with 650 MW capacity. &ldquo;Without detail study, the exact capacity could not be determined,&rdquo; said Ghimire. He added &ldquo;if the water level, geographical condition favors, the HEP will be built with high capacity.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The HEP will be developed as Picking-Run-Of-River project. It can accumulate 157.8 million cubic water for one and half month. The reservoir will affect 424 hectors surrounding land.&nbsp;</p>

The co-organisers of the fair are Nepal Handicraft Association, Jadibuti Association of Nepal and Himali Project.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The fair is being organized with a support of Trade and Exports Promotion Centre. The fair will have 340 stalls including domestic and foreign. Countries including China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Thailand will be participating in the fair. China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand have booked 85, 10, 20, 50 and two stalls respectively for the fair, informed the organiser.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The fair will have handicrafts, tourism, information technology, agricultural products, energy, construction, education, medicines and iron and steel stalls. Similarly, the fair will also include various stalls of readymade dresses, leather products, new technology and equipments, food items, furniture, fashion wear, home decor and service sectors. Likewise, the fair will showcase Nepali herbal products in 35 stalls. Moreover, 70 stalls will exhibit agricultural products of Himali Project. International Labor Organisation (ILO) have supported the fair and will provide information about employment through employment information center, the organiser informed.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank Upendra Poudyal said the conference was focused on six principles of banking. He said the main objective of the conference was to convey a message on thinking about livelihood of the people rather than profit. The main conclusion of the conference is that banks should run their businesses on the basis of&nbsp;&nbsp; triple bottom line - people, planet and prosperity.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He also said the value-based banking was not taken seriously in Nepal so far.&nbsp; &quot;The Nepal Rastra Bank has directed us about expanding branches in villages, investing in productive sector and has specified the target sector, but the banks are so far focusing on quick profit only,&quot; he said.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He said the principles presented by the NMB Bank on value-based banking were compatible with the country.&nbsp; The bank had presented report on the success of businesses of tempo drivers, small investment in Nepali paper industries and the impact of micro hydro projects.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;All the participants in the conference called on all the stakeholders for moving ahead in cohesion for the expansion of value -based banking to bring about improvement in the lifestyle of the local communities.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">They also informed that their programmes were focused on uplifting the local communities and to cooperate in local entrepreneurship while conserving the environment.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The eighth conference of GABV headquartered in the Netherlands was held in Netherlands itself and the tenth will be held in Peru.&nbsp; The conference was the annual programme of the GABV.&nbsp; They discussed on the future leadership to move ahead value-based banking concept effectively. &nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Some 120 participants from 28 countries of Asia, Africa, Australia, South and North America and Europe, including ministers, central bank governors and CEOs of 43 financial institutions and board members had participated in the conference. Banking experience of each other was exchanged in the four sessions of the conference.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The new draft also include a mechanism where IOC will not only provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC but will also process the crude oil if Nepal imports fuel from the third country, informed the domestic corporation. &nbsp;Moreover, the neighboring country will also give access to its infrastructure if Nepal purchases crude oil from the third country, according to the new draft. &ldquo;Similarly, the draft also contain a provision that states if Nepal purchase crude oil from any third country, India will provide its refinery on lease to process the oil,&rdquo; &nbsp;said Sita Ram Pokharel, Chief of Distribution Department of NOC. He also clarified that it has been agreed that India will easily provide &lsquo;no objection&rsquo; letter to NOC if it starts its own refinery in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the NOC , after a long discussion between high officials of both corporations, the agreement got its final structure.&nbsp; As per a source, the draft also contain a provision that said the current new draft will not restrict in operating refinery in Nepal and IOC will supply 100 per cent fuel meeting the demand of Nepal.&nbsp; The draft finalised the issue of renewing fuel purchase agreement for next five years. The new agreement will come into effect from coming April to March 31, 2022.&nbsp;</p>

The ministry has listed the HEP in the projects to be developed as company model. As per this, joint investment from government, public and foreign investors is provisioned.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Initially, power generated from the project has been targeted to export to India. Due to which, Stat Kraft Nor fund Company (NS Power) had surveyed the project. However, declining electricity price in India led the company to withdraw its decision.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Presently, Energy Ministry is planning to consume the power generated in the country itself. It is rumored that the project which was initially set to build at 880 MW capacity will be now built with 650 MW capacity. &ldquo;Without detail study, the exact capacity could not be determined,&rdquo; said Ghimire. He added &ldquo;if the water level, geographical condition favors, the HEP will be built with high capacity.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The HEP will be developed as Picking-Run-Of-River project. It can accumulate 157.8 million cubic water for one and half month. The reservoir will affect 424 hectors surrounding land.&nbsp;</p>

Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that the new branch opened on Women&#39;s day has only women staffs including a Branch Manager. With the newly opened branch, the bank is providing financial services to its customers through 44 branches, three extension counters, seven branchless door-to-door banking services and 41 ATMs throughout the country. &nbsp;</p>
