<p>According to NT, the app &lsquo;Wowtime&rsquo; has come into operation since September 19.</p>

<p>Issuing a press statement, NT said that the app was launched by the telecom giant in association with Wean Nepal.</p>

<p>NT informed that its users can watch 130 different channels through the app. The company informed that the number of channel will be increased in the future as per the need.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Customers can also watch different movies, music videos, TV shows and FM radio,&rdquo; NT said in the statement.</p>

<p>This service is only available for the GSM and CDMA prepaid/postpaid users of NT. On the occasion of Dashain, the subscription charge for the app has been waived for a month, the statement further said. After a month, the customers can get the service upon payment on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The services of the app can be utilized either through wifi or with data.</p>

<p>The mobile app can be downloaded from Google Playstore or Apple Store. Customers can activate the service after entering the PIN number which they receive after registering their name and phone number.</p>

<p>Prime Commercial Bank, Kumari Bank and Century Bank will be investing around Rs 700 million while the promoter company CEDB Hydro Fund will invest Rs 300 million.</p>

<p>According to Prem Saud, public relations officer of the constructing company, paper works related to policy and financial management work is being done in the first phase.</p>

<p>He further informed that land purchase has already finished. &ldquo;Work on the physical infrastructure will gain pace from mid-November,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>According to Saud, the project is expected to complete within 2019/20.</p>

<p>Rapti Hydro and General Construction has been assigned the project. The electricity procurement agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEC) has already been finalized, the company informed.</p>

<p>One of the big hydropower plants of the district is supposed to solve the electricity problem even in the neighboring districts of Rukum.</p>

<p>Tir Gharti, a local of Bhume Rural Municipality, said that the construction of the project will provide relief from electricity shortage.</p>

<p>Similarly, Tek Bahadur Pun, president of Rukum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his belief that the construction of the hydropower plant will help in establishing small and big industries in Rukum.</p>

<p>A division bench of justices Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha and Tej Bahadur KC issued the verdict on September 18.</p>

<p>Consumer Welfare Protection Forum, Nepal&rsquo;s General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Timilsina had filed a writ petition at the apex court arguing that the same medicine has different pricing at different pharmacies and in order to bring uniformity in price, the advocate had demanded for the hospitals to open their own pharmacies.</p>

<p>About one and a half years ago, the apex court had given an interim order for all hospitals to open their own pharmacies. That order was not implemented. On Monday, the division bench of justices gave the final verdict on this issue upholding the previous order.</p>

<p>The forum had presented the bills of a medicine which cost Rs 13 at Manmohan Cardiovascular Hospital but the same medicine cost Rs 32 at Bir Hospital.</p>

<p>The government has adopted a policy to provide 86 types of medicines free of cost.</p>

<p>The writ petitioner&rsquo;s lawyer Jyoti Bania informed that their research found Bir Hospital renting space for private pharmacies for as much as Rs 1.3 million per month. The petition argued that high rent has raised the cost of medicines causing inconvenience to the general public.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around 200 residents residing along the road section from Tripureshwar to Nagdhunga as well as those from Chabahil, Koteshwar among other places had filed the writ. The petitioners had demanded the government to carry on with the expansion drive only after providing them adequate compensation.</p>

<p>The government had stopped the road expansion works after the valley denizens filed the writ petitions. The government had adopted a policy to expand the width of major roads to 25 meters on both sides from the center of the road. The petitioners had claimed that only highways should be of 50 meters wide and have requested the government only to expand the road to a maximum of 16 meters.&nbsp;</p>

It was reported that a truck carrying beer from Gorkha Brewery of Nawalparasi to Kathmandu met with an accident in Icchyakamana of Chitwan about a week ago.</p>

<p>After almost ten days of investigation, police solved the mystery behind the accident of the truck with registration number Na 5 Kha 7297 that took place on September 10.</p>

<p>Under the influence of Ujjwal Kandel, 30, of Manahari Rural Municipality in Hetauda, &nbsp;truck driver Santosh Khatri, 28, of Hetauda-11 agreed to fake the accident to get the insurance amount for the beer and the vehicle, investigation showed.</p>

<p>According to Dilip Raj Jha, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office (DPO), the truck which was loaded with 1,400 cartons of beer from Gorkha Brewery shifted 1,200 cartons in another truck at Geetanagar, Chitwan and the truck with 200 cartons headed for Kathmandu. The truck was made to fall from Narayani river at Jalabire and the nearby police post at Mugling was informed about the accident.</p>

<p>The truck carrying 1,200 cartons of beer went to Hetauda and hid in a house at Manakamana Road. The next day, the conspirators hid 537 cartons of beer in the house of Mani Lama and 426 in Buddha Lama&rsquo;s house. Police seized the beer, whose market price is Rs 3.7 million, from &nbsp;the two houses, said DSP Jha.</p>

<p>Jha informed that four people involved in the crime and 960 cartons of beer have been sent to DPO, Chitwan for further action.&nbsp;</p>

<p>NT informed that its users can watch 130 different channels through the app. The company informed that the number of channel will be increased in the future as per the need.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Customers can also watch different movies, music videos, TV shows and FM radio,&rdquo; NT said in the statement.</p>

<p>This service is only available for the GSM and CDMA prepaid/postpaid users of NT. On the occasion of Dashain, the subscription charge for the app has been waived for a month, the statement further said. After a month, the customers can get the service upon payment on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The services of the app can be utilized either through wifi or with data.</p>

<p>The mobile app can be downloaded from Google Playstore or Apple Store. Customers can activate the service after entering the PIN number which they receive after registering their name and phone number.</p>

<p>According to Saud, the project is expected to complete within 2019/20.</p>

<p>Rapti Hydro and General Construction has been assigned the project. The electricity procurement agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEC) has already been finalized, the company informed.</p>

<p>One of the big hydropower plants of the district is supposed to solve the electricity problem even in the neighboring districts of Rukum.</p>

<p>Tir Gharti, a local of Bhume Rural Municipality, said that the construction of the project will provide relief from electricity shortage.</p>

<p>Similarly, Tek Bahadur Pun, president of Rukum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his belief that the construction of the hydropower plant will help in establishing small and big industries in Rukum.</p>

<p>Consumer Welfare Protection Forum, Nepal&rsquo;s General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Timilsina had filed a writ petition at the apex court arguing that the same medicine has different pricing at different pharmacies and in order to bring uniformity in price, the advocate had demanded for the hospitals to open their own pharmacies.</p>

<p>About one and a half years ago, the apex court had given an interim order for all hospitals to open their own pharmacies. That order was not implemented. On Monday, the division bench of justices gave the final verdict on this issue upholding the previous order.</p>

<p>The forum had presented the bills of a medicine which cost Rs 13 at Manmohan Cardiovascular Hospital but the same medicine cost Rs 32 at Bir Hospital.</p>

<p>The government has adopted a policy to provide 86 types of medicines free of cost.</p>

<p>The writ petitioner&rsquo;s lawyer Jyoti Bania informed that their research found Bir Hospital renting space for private pharmacies for as much as Rs 1.3 million per month. The petition argued that high rent has raised the cost of medicines causing inconvenience to the general public.&nbsp;</p>

The truck was made to fall from Narayani river at Jalabire and the nearby police post at Mugling was informed about the accident.</p>

<p>The truck carrying 1,200 cartons of beer went to Hetauda and hid in a house at Manakamana Road. The next day, the conspirators hid 537 cartons of beer in the house of Mani Lama and 426 in Buddha Lama&rsquo;s house. Police seized the beer, whose market price is Rs 3.7 million, from &nbsp;the two houses, said DSP Jha.</p>

<p>Jha informed that four people involved in the crime and 960 cartons of beer have been sent to DPO, Chitwan for further action.&nbsp;</p>

<p>NT informed that its users can watch 130 different channels through the app. The company informed that the number of channel will be increased in the future as per the need.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Customers can also watch different movies, music videos, TV shows and FM radio,&rdquo; NT said in the statement.</p>

<p>This service is only available for the GSM and CDMA prepaid/postpaid users of NT. On the occasion of Dashain, the subscription charge for the app has been waived for a month, the statement further said. After a month, the customers can get the service upon payment on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The services of the app can be utilized either through wifi or with data.</p>

<p>The mobile app can be downloaded from Google Playstore or Apple Store. Customers can activate the service after entering the PIN number which they receive after registering their name and phone number.</p>

<p>According to Prem Saud, public relations officer of the constructing company, paper works related to policy and financial management work is being done in the first phase.</p>

<p>He further informed that land purchase has already finished. &ldquo;Work on the physical infrastructure will gain pace from mid-November,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>According to Saud, the project is expected to complete within 2019/20.</p>

<p>Rapti Hydro and General Construction has been assigned the project. The electricity procurement agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEC) has already been finalized, the company informed.</p>

<p>One of the big hydropower plants of the district is supposed to solve the electricity problem even in the neighboring districts of Rukum.</p>

<p>Tir Gharti, a local of Bhume Rural Municipality, said that the construction of the project will provide relief from electricity shortage.</p>

<p>Similarly, Tek Bahadur Pun, president of Rukum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his belief that the construction of the hydropower plant will help in establishing small and big industries in Rukum.</p>

<p>Consumer Welfare Protection Forum, Nepal&rsquo;s General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Timilsina had filed a writ petition at the apex court arguing that the same medicine has different pricing at different pharmacies and in order to bring uniformity in price, the advocate had demanded for the hospitals to open their own pharmacies.</p>

<p>About one and a half years ago, the apex court had given an interim order for all hospitals to open their own pharmacies. That order was not implemented. On Monday, the division bench of justices gave the final verdict on this issue upholding the previous order.</p>

<p>The forum had presented the bills of a medicine which cost Rs 13 at Manmohan Cardiovascular Hospital but the same medicine cost Rs 32 at Bir Hospital.</p>

<p>The government has adopted a policy to provide 86 types of medicines free of cost.</p>

<p>The writ petitioner&rsquo;s lawyer Jyoti Bania informed that their research found Bir Hospital renting space for private pharmacies for as much as Rs 1.3 million per month. The petition argued that high rent has raised the cost of medicines causing inconvenience to the general public.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around 200 residents residing along the road section from Tripureshwar to Nagdhunga as well as those from Chabahil, Koteshwar among other places had filed the writ. The petitioners had demanded the government to carry on with the expansion drive only after providing them adequate compensation.</p>

<p>The government had stopped the road expansion works after the valley denizens filed the writ petitions. The government had adopted a policy to expand the width of major roads to 25 meters on both sides from the center of the road. The petitioners had claimed that only highways should be of 50 meters wide and have requested the government only to expand the road to a maximum of 16 meters.&nbsp;</p>

It was reported that a truck carrying beer from Gorkha Brewery of Nawalparasi to Kathmandu met with an accident in Icchyakamana of Chitwan about a week ago.</p>

<p>After almost ten days of investigation, police solved the mystery behind the accident of the truck with registration number Na 5 Kha 7297 that took place on September 10.</p>

<p>Under the influence of Ujjwal Kandel, 30, of Manahari Rural Municipality in Hetauda, &nbsp;truck driver Santosh Khatri, 28, of Hetauda-11 agreed to fake the accident to get the insurance amount for the beer and the vehicle, investigation showed.</p>

<p>According to Dilip Raj Jha, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office (DPO), the truck which was loaded with 1,400 cartons of beer from Gorkha Brewery shifted 1,200 cartons in another truck at Geetanagar, Chitwan and the truck with 200 cartons headed for Kathmandu. The truck was made to fall from Narayani river at Jalabire and the nearby police post at Mugling was informed about the accident.</p>

<p>The truck carrying 1,200 cartons of beer went to Hetauda and hid in a house at Manakamana Road. The next day, the conspirators hid 537 cartons of beer in the house of Mani Lama and 426 in Buddha Lama&rsquo;s house. Police seized the beer, whose market price is Rs 3.7 million, from &nbsp;the two houses, said DSP Jha.</p>

<p>Jha informed that four people involved in the crime and 960 cartons of beer have been sent to DPO, Chitwan for further action.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Issuing a press statement, NT said that the app was launched by the telecom giant in association with Wean Nepal.</p>

<p>NT informed that its users can watch 130 different channels through the app. The company informed that the number of channel will be increased in the future as per the need.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Customers can also watch different movies, music videos, TV shows and FM radio,&rdquo; NT said in the statement.</p>

<p>This service is only available for the GSM and CDMA prepaid/postpaid users of NT. On the occasion of Dashain, the subscription charge for the app has been waived for a month, the statement further said. After a month, the customers can get the service upon payment on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The services of the app can be utilized either through wifi or with data.</p>

<p>The mobile app can be downloaded from Google Playstore or Apple Store. Customers can activate the service after entering the PIN number which they receive after registering their name and phone number.</p>

<p>Prime Commercial Bank, Kumari Bank and Century Bank will be investing around Rs 700 million while the promoter company CEDB Hydro Fund will invest Rs 300 million.</p>

<p>According to Prem Saud, public relations officer of the constructing company, paper works related to policy and financial management work is being done in the first phase.</p>

<p>He further informed that land purchase has already finished. &ldquo;Work on the physical infrastructure will gain pace from mid-November,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>According to Saud, the project is expected to complete within 2019/20.</p>

<p>Rapti Hydro and General Construction has been assigned the project. The electricity procurement agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEC) has already been finalized, the company informed.</p>

<p>One of the big hydropower plants of the district is supposed to solve the electricity problem even in the neighboring districts of Rukum.</p>

<p>Tir Gharti, a local of Bhume Rural Municipality, said that the construction of the project will provide relief from electricity shortage.</p>

<p>Similarly, Tek Bahadur Pun, president of Rukum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his belief that the construction of the hydropower plant will help in establishing small and big industries in Rukum.</p>

<p>A division bench of justices Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha and Tej Bahadur KC issued the verdict on September 18.</p>

<p>Consumer Welfare Protection Forum, Nepal&rsquo;s General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Timilsina had filed a writ petition at the apex court arguing that the same medicine has different pricing at different pharmacies and in order to bring uniformity in price, the advocate had demanded for the hospitals to open their own pharmacies.</p>

<p>About one and a half years ago, the apex court had given an interim order for all hospitals to open their own pharmacies. That order was not implemented. On Monday, the division bench of justices gave the final verdict on this issue upholding the previous order.</p>

<p>The forum had presented the bills of a medicine which cost Rs 13 at Manmohan Cardiovascular Hospital but the same medicine cost Rs 32 at Bir Hospital.</p>

<p>The government has adopted a policy to provide 86 types of medicines free of cost.</p>

<p>The writ petitioner&rsquo;s lawyer Jyoti Bania informed that their research found Bir Hospital renting space for private pharmacies for as much as Rs 1.3 million per month. The petition argued that high rent has raised the cost of medicines causing inconvenience to the general public.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around 200 residents residing along the road section from Tripureshwar to Nagdhunga as well as those from Chabahil, Koteshwar among other places had filed the writ. The petitioners had demanded the government to carry on with the expansion drive only after providing them adequate compensation.</p>

<p>The government had stopped the road expansion works after the valley denizens filed the writ petitions. The government had adopted a policy to expand the width of major roads to 25 meters on both sides from the center of the road. The petitioners had claimed that only highways should be of 50 meters wide and have requested the government only to expand the road to a maximum of 16 meters.&nbsp;</p>

It was reported that a truck carrying beer from Gorkha Brewery of Nawalparasi to Kathmandu met with an accident in Icchyakamana of Chitwan about a week ago.</p>

<p>After almost ten days of investigation, police solved the mystery behind the accident of the truck with registration number Na 5 Kha 7297 that took place on September 10.</p>

<p>Under the influence of Ujjwal Kandel, 30, of Manahari Rural Municipality in Hetauda, &nbsp;truck driver Santosh Khatri, 28, of Hetauda-11 agreed to fake the accident to get the insurance amount for the beer and the vehicle, investigation showed.</p>

<p>According to Dilip Raj Jha, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office (DPO), the truck which was loaded with 1,400 cartons of beer from Gorkha Brewery shifted 1,200 cartons in another truck at Geetanagar, Chitwan and the truck with 200 cartons headed for Kathmandu. The truck was made to fall from Narayani river at Jalabire and the nearby police post at Mugling was informed about the accident.</p>

<p>The truck carrying 1,200 cartons of beer went to Hetauda and hid in a house at Manakamana Road. The next day, the conspirators hid 537 cartons of beer in the house of Mani Lama and 426 in Buddha Lama&rsquo;s house. Police seized the beer, whose market price is Rs 3.7 million, from &nbsp;the two houses, said DSP Jha.</p>

<p>Jha informed that four people involved in the crime and 960 cartons of beer have been sent to DPO, Chitwan for further action.&nbsp;</p>
