<p>Speaking on the occasion, Ananda Bagaria, managing director of Nimbus Holdings, said that startups should focus on the &ldquo;right gap&rdquo; that will help them to find business opportunity.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The country is prosperous in terms of agriculture and grows more than 10,000 crops. However, we have lots of gaps in commercialising the agricultural products,&rdquo; Bagaria said while sharing his experience on how he started his venture.</p>

<p>He mentioned that aggregation of grains grown in different regions of the country can be a good business opportunity for startups. &nbsp;Similarly, he said that opening hygienic meat shops is a necessity for the Nepali market. &ldquo;We have enough production of meat, but the consumers can&rsquo;t find a proper place where they can buy hygienic meat,&rdquo; Bagaria said.</p>

<p>The event saw the participation of around 150 entrepreneurs, students and aspiring youths.</p>

<p>Since Kavre is near to Kathmandu, it will be a suitable place for construction of the airport, said Adhikari.</p>

<p>State Minister Gokul Banskota opined that the construction of the airport is important not only for mitigation of the flight pressure at TIA, but also essential for Kavre&rsquo;s development. He said that the issue was raised 16 years ago. He hoped to accomplish the work this time with the support of locals.</p>

<p>CAAN&#39;s Director General Sanjiv Gautam said though study of Nagi Danda of Banepa and Thuli Chaur of Dhulikhel was done previously for minimizing the air traffic of Kathmandu, Chisapani was not studied at that time.</p>

The ministry is looking for an alternative for the domestic airport due to an increase in air traffic at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).</p>

<p>A delegation led by Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari, Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Banskota, parliamentary members and representatives from local levels along with high-level officials of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) visited Nagi Danda, Thuli Chaur and Chisapani of the district on Tuesday, May 1.</p>

<p>After the site observation, Adhikari assured to finalize a suitable place for the construction of the airport within 15 days. During an interaction program in Kavre, Adhikari further said that the project will be included in the upcoming budget.</p>

<p>Since Kavre is near to Kathmandu, it will be a suitable place for construction of the airport, said Adhikari.</p>

<p>State Minister Gokul Banskota opined that the construction of the airport is important not only for mitigation of the flight pressure at TIA, but also essential for Kavre&rsquo;s development. He said that the issue was raised 16 years ago. He hoped to accomplish the work this time with the support of locals.</p>

<p>CAAN&#39;s Director General Sanjiv Gautam said though study of Nagi Danda of Banepa and Thuli Chaur of Dhulikhel was done previously for minimizing the air traffic of Kathmandu, Chisapani was not studied at that time.</p>

<p>The joint venture was announced by Willem Grimminck, chairman and managing director at OTW and Suman Joshi, founder and managing partner of TNA amidst a programme in Lalitpur on Wednesday, May 2.</p>

<p>&nbsp;Issuing a press statement, the company said that the fund is aimed at amplifying access to finance, build expertise and expanding services for early stage growth of companies in Nepal. &ldquo;The partners aim to accelerate access to finance for innovative companies in Nepal by building the largest private equity fund in the country for early stage growth of companies,&rdquo; said the statement, adding that Nepal Impact Investment Community-2 (NIIC-2) targets to invest in 15-20 growth stage small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nepal, that can provide 100 jobs for every 400,000 euros invested. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>&ldquo;We want to go beyond finance in our support to Nepali companies working in the field of health, agriculture and infrastructure that can contribute to the growth of Nepal,&rdquo; read the statement.</p>

<p>The collaboration is expected to help Nepali SMEs on their growth path by promoting international-local co-investments, enabling follow-up investments and exits.</p>

<p>He mentioned that aggregation of grains grown in different regions of the country can be a good business opportunity for startups. &nbsp;Similarly, he said that opening hygienic meat shops is a necessity for the Nepali market. &ldquo;We have enough production of meat, but the consumers can&rsquo;t find a proper place where they can buy hygienic meat,&rdquo; Bagaria said.</p>

<p>The event saw the participation of around 150 entrepreneurs, students and aspiring youths.</p>
