<p>The users can activate the service by dialing *1400# or sending SMS with &#39;sub mca&#39; to 1400, said the company. The company is offering the service free of cost for 15 days to its GSM mobile subscribers and afterwards, Rs 5 will be charged for the service on monthly basis.</p>

<p>On the same occasion, the company announced &#39;Unlimited Pack&#39; offering the customers voice pack, SMS and data service at just Rs 18 for one hour within its network. GSM as well as CDMA mobile users can use this pack service, said the company.</p>

<p>Besides this, the company has also offered &#39;SMS Pack&#39; allowing the users to send 120 SMS within the same network just at Rs 12 for 5 days.</p>

<p>Hari Bhakta Sharma, president of Confederation of Nepalese Industries said that Nepali politics has successfully tackled its internal struggle which has created hope for better economic prospects.</p>

<p>&quot;How the government will implement economic possibilities in the budget is an important part to see. There is space for hope and we are waiting on how it will be implemented,&rdquo; Sharma added.</p>

According to the economic survey of the year 2074/75 which was announced on Sunday, May 27, Province 3 has the highest number of SMEs followed by Province 5, Province 1, Province 2, Province 4, Province 7 and Province 6.</p>

<p>As of now, there are 405,000 SMEs in the country among which 123,342 were opened in the last five years.</p>

<p>Altogether 39,813 SMEs have been registered between 2070/2071 and the current FY in Province 3. Among them, 5, 532 SMEs in Province 3 have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 1, a total of 16, 174 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Similarly, Province 2 saw registration of 15,727 new SMEs in the last five years. Likewise, in the last eight months of the current FY, 1,904 SMEs have been registered in Province 1 and 3,187 SMEs in Province 2.</p>

<p>Likewise, 13,422 SMEs have been registered in Province 4 between 2070/71 and the current FY. Among them, 2,371 SMEs have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, in Province 5, &nbsp;a total of 24,044 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 3,774 SMEs have been registered in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 6, Karnali, 5,274 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 506 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of current FY.</p>

<p>Similarly, 8,908 SMEs were registered in Province 7 in the last five years. Among them, 1,288 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of the current FY.</p>

<p>Shakya claimed that the monorail will come into operation during his tenure.</p>

A number of countries have already accomplished this, including a range of middle-and lower-income countries worldwide have heavily restricted or eliminated trans fats altogether, according to WHO&#39;s Regional Director of South-East Asia Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh.</p>

<p>Singh wrote in an op-ed article that industrially produced trans fats are artificial compounds formed&nbsp; by &lsquo;partial hydrogenation of edible oils&#39; that are harmful when consumed, even at low levels. In the South-East Asia Region, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (PHVOs)&nbsp; are the primary source of trans fats in food items.</p>

<p>According to her, commercial food production, particularly with regard to bakery products such as biscuits and pastries, use high amounts of PHVOs, thus increasing the risk of trans fat consumption.Changing food patterns and&nbsp; the popularity of processed foods is likely to increase trans fat intake. Likewise,high levels of trans fat have also been found elsewhere, especially in food produced by informal vendors.Trans fats dramatically increase the risk of heart attack, Singh noted.</p>

<p>&quot;Replacing oils containing high trans fats with healthier options will have no impact on the taste or availability of food, and will dramatically advance health and wellbeing. It will also help achieve WHO South-East Asia&rsquo;s regional target and Flagship Priority of reducing non-communicable diseases by one-fourth by 2025, and then by one-third by 2030, as per the Sustainable Development Goal targets,&quot; she wrote in the article to New Business Age.</p>

<p>Mustard, sunflower, rapeseed (canola), ground nut, and soya-based oils are all healthier alternatives. These crops are valuable, efficient and in high demand. Importantly, the increased growth, production and use of these crops will enhance the health and wellbeing of people&nbsp; and align the region with the global drive to restricttrans of fats and save millions of lives at virtually no cost to the government or consumers.</p>

<p>To that end, WHO&rsquo;s six-step REPLACE action package &ndash;launched last week in Geneva &ndash; provides all countries with proven tools to completely eliminate trans fats from their national food supply and counter increasingly changing food patterns, according to Singh.</p>

<p>At present, 90 percent of people around the world &ndash; about 6.5 billion &ndash; are exposed to these artery-clogging substances, with little to no government support or alternatives offerred. WHO&rsquo;s REPLACE package aims to accelerate restrictions on trans fat products via an easy six-step process. Each ofthese steps can be readily embraced, implemented and enforced, with game-changing effect, she further said.</p>

<p>First is reviewing dietary sources of trans fats and the landscape required for policy change. Second is promoting the replacement of trans fats with healthier fats and oils.Third is legislating or enacting regulatory actions to eliminate trans fats.Fourth is assessing and monitoring trans fat content in the food supply and changes in trans fat consumption in the population.Fifth is creating awareness of the negative health impact of trans fats among policymakers, producers, suppliers and the public. And sixth is enforcing compliance with policies and regulations.</p>

<p>&quot;If implemented effectively, the WHO REPLACE package will ensure prompt, complete and sustained elimination of trans fats from the world&rsquo;s food supply, thereby driving down demand. That is a good that will give many times over, saving billions of dollars in both developed and developing economies, and slashing the rate of premature deaths worldwide. But making that happen requires more than goodwill; it requires a willingness to act, and to do so decisively.&quot;&nbsp;</p>

<p>As of now, there are 405,000 SMEs in the country among which 123,342 were opened in the last five years.</p>

<p>Altogether 39,813 SMEs have been registered between 2070/2071 and the current FY in Province 3. Among them, 5, 532 SMEs in Province 3 have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 1, a total of 16, 174 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Similarly, Province 2 saw registration of 15,727 new SMEs in the last five years. Likewise, in the last eight months of the current FY, 1,904 SMEs have been registered in Province 1 and 3,187 SMEs in Province 2.</p>

<p>Likewise, 13,422 SMEs have been registered in Province 4 between 2070/71 and the current FY. Among them, 2,371 SMEs have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, in Province 5, &nbsp;a total of 24,044 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 3,774 SMEs have been registered in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 6, Karnali, 5,274 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 506 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of current FY.</p>

<p>Similarly, 8,908 SMEs were registered in Province 7 in the last five years. Among them, 1,288 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of the current FY.</p>

A number of countries have already accomplished this, including a range of middle-and lower-income countries worldwide have heavily restricted or eliminated trans fats altogether, according to WHO&#39;s Regional Director of South-East Asia Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh.</p>

<p>Singh wrote in an op-ed article that industrially produced trans fats are artificial compounds formed&nbsp; by &lsquo;partial hydrogenation of edible oils&#39; that are harmful when consumed, even at low levels. In the South-East Asia Region, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (PHVOs)&nbsp; are the primary source of trans fats in food items.</p>

<p>According to her, commercial food production, particularly with regard to bakery products such as biscuits and pastries, use high amounts of PHVOs, thus increasing the risk of trans fat consumption.Changing food patterns and&nbsp; the popularity of processed foods is likely to increase trans fat intake. Likewise,high levels of trans fat have also been found elsewhere, especially in food produced by informal vendors.Trans fats dramatically increase the risk of heart attack, Singh noted.</p>

<p>&quot;Replacing oils containing high trans fats with healthier options will have no impact on the taste or availability of food, and will dramatically advance health and wellbeing. It will also help achieve WHO South-East Asia&rsquo;s regional target and Flagship Priority of reducing non-communicable diseases by one-fourth by 2025, and then by one-third by 2030, as per the Sustainable Development Goal targets,&quot; she wrote in the article to New Business Age.</p>

<p>Mustard, sunflower, rapeseed (canola), ground nut, and soya-based oils are all healthier alternatives. These crops are valuable, efficient and in high demand. Importantly, the increased growth, production and use of these crops will enhance the health and wellbeing of people&nbsp; and align the region with the global drive to restricttrans of fats and save millions of lives at virtually no cost to the government or consumers.</p>

<p>To that end, WHO&rsquo;s six-step REPLACE action package &ndash;launched last week in Geneva &ndash; provides all countries with proven tools to completely eliminate trans fats from their national food supply and counter increasingly changing food patterns, according to Singh.</p>

<p>At present, 90 percent of people around the world &ndash; about 6.5 billion &ndash; are exposed to these artery-clogging substances, with little to no government support or alternatives offerred. WHO&rsquo;s REPLACE package aims to accelerate restrictions on trans fat products via an easy six-step process. Each ofthese steps can be readily embraced, implemented and enforced, with game-changing effect, she further said.</p>

<p>First is reviewing dietary sources of trans fats and the landscape required for policy change. Second is promoting the replacement of trans fats with healthier fats and oils.Third is legislating or enacting regulatory actions to eliminate trans fats.Fourth is assessing and monitoring trans fat content in the food supply and changes in trans fat consumption in the population.Fifth is creating awareness of the negative health impact of trans fats among policymakers, producers, suppliers and the public. And sixth is enforcing compliance with policies and regulations.</p>

<p>&quot;If implemented effectively, the WHO REPLACE package will ensure prompt, complete and sustained elimination of trans fats from the world&rsquo;s food supply, thereby driving down demand. That is a good that will give many times over, saving billions of dollars in both developed and developing economies, and slashing the rate of premature deaths worldwide. But making that happen requires more than goodwill; it requires a willingness to act, and to do so decisively.&quot;&nbsp;</p>

According to the economic survey of the year 2074/75 which was announced on Sunday, May 27, Province 3 has the highest number of SMEs followed by Province 5, Province 1, Province 2, Province 4, Province 7 and Province 6.</p>

<p>As of now, there are 405,000 SMEs in the country among which 123,342 were opened in the last five years.</p>

<p>Altogether 39,813 SMEs have been registered between 2070/2071 and the current FY in Province 3. Among them, 5, 532 SMEs in Province 3 have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 1, a total of 16, 174 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Similarly, Province 2 saw registration of 15,727 new SMEs in the last five years. Likewise, in the last eight months of the current FY, 1,904 SMEs have been registered in Province 1 and 3,187 SMEs in Province 2.</p>

<p>Likewise, 13,422 SMEs have been registered in Province 4 between 2070/71 and the current FY. Among them, 2,371 SMEs have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, in Province 5, &nbsp;a total of 24,044 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 3,774 SMEs have been registered in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 6, Karnali, 5,274 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 506 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of current FY.</p>

<p>Similarly, 8,908 SMEs were registered in Province 7 in the last five years. Among them, 1,288 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of the current FY.</p>

A number of countries have already accomplished this, including a range of middle-and lower-income countries worldwide have heavily restricted or eliminated trans fats altogether, according to WHO&#39;s Regional Director of South-East Asia Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh.</p>

<p>Singh wrote in an op-ed article that industrially produced trans fats are artificial compounds formed&nbsp; by &lsquo;partial hydrogenation of edible oils&#39; that are harmful when consumed, even at low levels. In the South-East Asia Region, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (PHVOs)&nbsp; are the primary source of trans fats in food items.</p>

<p>According to her, commercial food production, particularly with regard to bakery products such as biscuits and pastries, use high amounts of PHVOs, thus increasing the risk of trans fat consumption.Changing food patterns and&nbsp; the popularity of processed foods is likely to increase trans fat intake. Likewise,high levels of trans fat have also been found elsewhere, especially in food produced by informal vendors.Trans fats dramatically increase the risk of heart attack, Singh noted.</p>

<p>&quot;Replacing oils containing high trans fats with healthier options will have no impact on the taste or availability of food, and will dramatically advance health and wellbeing. It will also help achieve WHO South-East Asia&rsquo;s regional target and Flagship Priority of reducing non-communicable diseases by one-fourth by 2025, and then by one-third by 2030, as per the Sustainable Development Goal targets,&quot; she wrote in the article to New Business Age.</p>

<p>Mustard, sunflower, rapeseed (canola), ground nut, and soya-based oils are all healthier alternatives. These crops are valuable, efficient and in high demand. Importantly, the increased growth, production and use of these crops will enhance the health and wellbeing of people&nbsp; and align the region with the global drive to restricttrans of fats and save millions of lives at virtually no cost to the government or consumers.</p>

<p>To that end, WHO&rsquo;s six-step REPLACE action package &ndash;launched last week in Geneva &ndash; provides all countries with proven tools to completely eliminate trans fats from their national food supply and counter increasingly changing food patterns, according to Singh.</p>

<p>At present, 90 percent of people around the world &ndash; about 6.5 billion &ndash; are exposed to these artery-clogging substances, with little to no government support or alternatives offerred. WHO&rsquo;s REPLACE package aims to accelerate restrictions on trans fat products via an easy six-step process. Each ofthese steps can be readily embraced, implemented and enforced, with game-changing effect, she further said.</p>

<p>First is reviewing dietary sources of trans fats and the landscape required for policy change. Second is promoting the replacement of trans fats with healthier fats and oils.Third is legislating or enacting regulatory actions to eliminate trans fats.Fourth is assessing and monitoring trans fat content in the food supply and changes in trans fat consumption in the population.Fifth is creating awareness of the negative health impact of trans fats among policymakers, producers, suppliers and the public. And sixth is enforcing compliance with policies and regulations.</p>

<p>&quot;If implemented effectively, the WHO REPLACE package will ensure prompt, complete and sustained elimination of trans fats from the world&rsquo;s food supply, thereby driving down demand. That is a good that will give many times over, saving billions of dollars in both developed and developing economies, and slashing the rate of premature deaths worldwide. But making that happen requires more than goodwill; it requires a willingness to act, and to do so decisively.&quot;&nbsp;</p>

At the end of the event, all the participants were awarded with &#39;I am Yamaha Ambassador&#39; badge.</p>

<p>Saroj Shrestha, MD of Bishwokarma Auto Works, said that the objective of the ride out was to strengthen the bond between the dealers and the riders.</p>

<p>As of now, there are 405,000 SMEs in the country among which 123,342 were opened in the last five years.</p>

<p>In Province 1, a total of 16, 174 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Similarly, Province 2 saw registration of 15,727 new SMEs in the last five years. Likewise, in the last eight months of the current FY, 1,904 SMEs have been registered in Province 1 and 3,187 SMEs in Province 2.</p>

<p>Likewise, 13,422 SMEs have been registered in Province 4 between 2070/71 and the current FY. Among them, 2,371 SMEs have been registered only in the current FY.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, in Province 5, &nbsp;a total of 24,044 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 3,774 SMEs have been registered in the current FY.</p>

<p>In Province 6, Karnali, 5,274 SMEs have been registered in the last five years. Among them, 506 SMEs were registered in the last eight months of current FY.</p>

A number of countries have already accomplished this, including a range of middle-and lower-income countries worldwide have heavily restricted or eliminated trans fats altogether, according to WHO&#39;s Regional Director of South-East Asia Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh.</p>

<p>Singh wrote in an op-ed article that industrially produced trans fats are artificial compounds formed&nbsp; by &lsquo;partial hydrogenation of edible oils&#39; that are harmful when consumed, even at low levels. In the South-East Asia Region, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (PHVOs)&nbsp; are the primary source of trans fats in food items.</p>

<p>According to her, commercial food production, particularly with regard to bakery products such as biscuits and pastries, use high amounts of PHVOs, thus increasing the risk of trans fat consumption.Changing food patterns and&nbsp; the popularity of processed foods is likely to increase trans fat intake. Likewise,high levels of trans fat have also been found elsewhere, especially in food produced by informal vendors.Trans fats dramatically increase the risk of heart attack, Singh noted.</p>

<p>&quot;Replacing oils containing high trans fats with healthier options will have no impact on the taste or availability of food, and will dramatically advance health and wellbeing. It will also help achieve WHO South-East Asia&rsquo;s regional target and Flagship Priority of reducing non-communicable diseases by one-fourth by 2025, and then by one-third by 2030, as per the Sustainable Development Goal targets,&quot; she wrote in the article to New Business Age.</p>

<p>Mustard, sunflower, rapeseed (canola), ground nut, and soya-based oils are all healthier alternatives. These crops are valuable, efficient and in high demand. Importantly, the increased growth, production and use of these crops will enhance the health and wellbeing of people&nbsp; and align the region with the global drive to restricttrans of fats and save millions of lives at virtually no cost to the government or consumers.</p>

<p>To that end, WHO&rsquo;s six-step REPLACE action package &ndash;launched last week in Geneva &ndash; provides all countries with proven tools to completely eliminate trans fats from their national food supply and counter increasingly changing food patterns, according to Singh.</p>

<p>At present, 90 percent of people around the world &ndash; about 6.5 billion &ndash; are exposed to these artery-clogging substances, with little to no government support or alternatives offerred. WHO&rsquo;s REPLACE package aims to accelerate restrictions on trans fat products via an easy six-step process. Each ofthese steps can be readily embraced, implemented and enforced, with game-changing effect, she further said.</p>

<p>First is reviewing dietary sources of trans fats and the landscape required for policy change. Second is promoting the replacement of trans fats with healthier fats and oils.Third is legislating or enacting regulatory actions to eliminate trans fats.Fourth is assessing and monitoring trans fat content in the food supply and changes in trans fat consumption in the population.Fifth is creating awareness of the negative health impact of trans fats among policymakers, producers, suppliers and the public. And sixth is enforcing compliance with policies and regulations.</p>

<p>&quot;If implemented effectively, the WHO REPLACE package will ensure prompt, complete and sustained elimination of trans fats from the world&rsquo;s food supply, thereby driving down demand. <p>Airport Hotel has started a campaign called &lsquo;One Nepali in our Hotel&rsquo;.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This Nepali food festival will be organised for one month from May 24,&rdquo; said Binayak Shah, managing director of Airport Hotel and general secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN).</p>

<p>Shah said that many international hotels are also organising Nepali food festivals which will gradually help to globalise the cuisines. &ldquo;Initiating this campaign will be crucial to gradually inspire others to promote Nepali food. This kind of activities has been contributing to make the people aware about the ethnic Nepali cuisines,&rdquo; Shah said.</p>
