To make that happen, effective cancer screening services must be available at both secondary and primary facilities, while health workers must be trained to identify the signs and symptoms that could lead to a positive diagnosis, WHO said.

“Member States should also continue to implement policies that prioritize cancer prevention across sectors. That could mean pursuing the plain-packaging of tobacco products (tobacco is the single largest cause of cancer, making up around 22 percent of cancer deaths), better regulating alcohol consumption or promoting the virtues of a healthy diet and active lifestyle.

', 'content' => '
February 4: Transport entrepreneurs and clearing agents of Kolkata, who were staging protest since last Tuesday expressing dissatisfaction over the decision to apply electronic tracking system (ETS) on Nepal-bound goods at the Kolkata Port, have withdrawn their protest program.

The agitators withdrew their protest after stern warning from the concerned government authority of India upon the request from Kolkata-based Nepal’s consulate general.

The protest of clearing agents in Kolkata had disrupted the movement of containers. As a result, the Nepal-bound cargo shipments were stranded at the Kolkota Port.

The agents said that they were not in favour of obstructing the goods but had staged the protest to seek assurance that they would get their dues at the earliest. The customs house agents of India, who have been working as the representatives of Nepali importers in clearing goods from the docks, say they owe at total of Rs 8 billion from the importers.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) of India had decided to apply the electronic tracking system (ETS) on the containers of Nepali importers at the Kolkata Port effective from February 15.

After the provision is implemented, the agents are not required at the port.

', 'published' => true, 'created' => '2019-02-04', 'modified' => '2019-02-04', 'keywords' => '', 'description' => '', 'sortorder' => '9716', 'image' => '20190204014848_asdafasdfdf.jpg', 'article_date' => '2019-02-04 00:00:00', 'homepage' => false, 'breaking_news' => false, 'main_news' => true, 'in_scroller' => false, 'user_id' => '20' ) ) ) $current_user = null $logged_in = false $xml = falsesimplexml_load_file - [internal], line ?? include - APP/View/Elements/side_bar.ctp, line 133 View::_evaluate() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 971 View::_render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 933 View::_renderElement() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 1224 View::element() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 418 include - APP/View/Articles/index.ctp, line 157 View::_evaluate() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 971 View::_render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 933 View::render() - CORE/Cake/View/View.php, line 473 Controller::render() - CORE/Cake/Controller/Controller.php, line 968 Dispatcher::_invoke() - CORE/Cake/Routing/Dispatcher.php, line 200 Dispatcher::dispatch() - CORE/Cake/Routing/Dispatcher.php, line 167 [main] - APP/webroot/index.php, line 117
