Unless Brighton Pacific Pty Ltd seeks a review and is granted a stay of ASQA’s decision, the cancellation decision will take effect from March 26, 2019,” the statement said.</p> <p> The embassy said that it would be the responsibility of AIBT to find students an alternative course or pay them a refund of their unspent tuition fees in the event that AIBT does stop operating. </p> <p> “If an alternative placement is not possible, the TPS will seek to place the institute’s students with an alternate provider or if that is not possible, consider refund of the students’ unspent tuition fees,” the statement added.</p> <p> Australia’s Department of Home Affairs would also allow a grace period of at least 28 days and up to three months for students to transfer to alternate providers before it would consider visa cancellation. The remaining 40 percent of the goods still enter the country from the old customs office at Inarwa of Birgunj. </p> <p> According to the importers, the ICP charges Rs 700 for importing goods in a container, Rs 428 in small vehicles and Rs 200 to 600 in a truck or lorry. A source at the ICP told New Business Age that an importer has had to pay as much as Rs 1.2 million as the charge and fine just for importing one consignment.</p> <p> Importers have also complained that the ICP is charging them customs duty at its whims. They say that they are compelled to pay for the goods on the basis of weight even for the ones which do not require weighing.</p> <p> Nepal Intermodal Transportation Development Board has been operating the ICP in the Nepali side while the Land Ports Authority of India has been given the responsibility to oversee the ICP in the Indian side. According to a member of the committee formed to formulate the draft, a survey of the ministry shows that there are more than 50,000 e-commerce companies in the country.</p> <p> Currently, e-commerce platforms like eSewapasal, Daraz, Hamrobazar, Bhatbhateni, among others are digitally operating in the market. He said that the system which is in operation up to Birgunj should be extended to other parts of the country.</p> <p> Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ravi Shankar Sainju, said that the new system which started from Visakhapatnam port of India is now being used in Kolkata port as well.</p> <p> He said that the ECTS would save the time and cost of Nepali importers resulting in long-term benefits. Once this system comes into operation, the importers will get rid of the problem of losing their goods in between. Joint Secretary Sainju said that the government of India and Nepal are committed in implementing this system. The remaining 40 percent of the goods still enter the country from the old customs office at Inarwa of Birgunj. </p> <p> According to the importers, the ICP charges Rs 700 for importing goods in a container, Rs 428 in small vehicles and Rs 200 to 600 in a truck or lorry. A source at the ICP told New Business Age that an importer has had to pay as much as Rs 1.2 million as the charge and fine just for importing one consignment.</p> <p> Importers have also complained that the ICP is charging them customs duty at its whims. They say that they are compelled to pay for the goods on the basis of weight even for the ones which do not require weighing.</p> <p> Nepal Intermodal Transportation Development Board has been operating the ICP in the Nepali side while the Land Ports Authority of India has been given the responsibility to oversee the ICP in the Indian side. According to Sainju, although there are challenges in implementing this system the concerned authorities are working together to sort out the issues.</p> <p> Director General of the Department of Customs, Toyam Raya, said that there are some challenges as the country is going to initiate a new system. But in the long run, it will prove beneficial. He further said that the customs points are being modernized to meet the standard of ECTS.</p> <p> General Secretary of Nepal Freight Forward Association Sundar Prasad Dahal said that any shipping company wishing to operate in Nepal must first get registration. believes that the number of road accidents can be reduced with the operation of the app.</p> <p> Such apps have been brought into operation at Nagdhunga of Kathmandu, at Karmaiya of Sarlahi in A source at the ICP told New Business Age that an importer has had to pay as much as Rs 1.2 million as the charge and fine just for importing one consignment.</p> <p> Importers have also complained that the ICP is charging them customs duty at its whims. They say that they are compelled to pay for the goods on the basis of weight even for the ones which do not require weighing.</p> <p> Nepal Intermodal Transportation Development Board has been operating the ICP in the Nepali side while the Land Ports Authority of India has been given the responsibility to oversee the ICP in the Indian side.
