<p>According to the Assistant District Education Officer Ganesh Adhikari, a total of 16,985 students from various 104 secondary schools are appearing in the SLC exam this year. Of them 2,285 are girls and rest 1,197 are boys.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last year a total of 717 students were denied taking the exam, also popularly known as the &#39;Iron Gate&#39; among the students. &nbsp;The exam, which lasts through more than a week, is going to start from March 31.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to data of education office, this year 13,497 regular students are appearing in the exam in which 6,456 are boys and 7,041 are girls. Similarly, 3,482 exempted students are also appearing this year&rsquo;s SLC exam in which 1,197 are boys and 2,285 are girls. RSS</p>

<p>As the factory provides its services in rural areas, Poudel said that the company will have to operate bearing losses until government provides tax exemptions and ensures easy accessibility of fuel and electricity. &quot;We have been trying to run the factory with generator backup during the power cut, but the lack of fuel creates the trouble again,&quot; he says.</p>

<p>The factory has been producing only 3,000 sacks of cement to the daily capacity of 6,000 sacks due to the ongoing problem. According to Poudel, this pliable situation has created difficulties to pay salaries to the workers of the factory. The industry, which has largest investment in eastern hilly region, has been producing affodable cement in the region . Established in 2008, the investment by Machhapuchhre Bank, Citizens Bank, Prime Bank and Tayal group into the factory has totaled Rs 1.25 billion.&nbsp;</p>

Only after finalizing the agreement, study on model, infrastructure and other aspects of port utilisation are being carried out. &ldquo;Agreement will not be fruitful for instant,&rdquo; says former Commerce Secretary Purushottam Ojha. &nbsp;&ldquo;Nevertheless, the agreement will facilitate bilateral trade with Mid-Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Kirjikistan, Ujbekistan through China.&rdquo; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali traders will not be able to take advantage of the Chinese port without proper development of infrastructures like improvement of roadway to China, road accessibility to additional checkpoints, development of railway to reach the port. According to Ojha, Kimathanka of east, Corola of Mustang, Kerung of Rasuwa and Tatopani checkpoint of Sindhupalchowk have to be operated in order to benefit from the Chinese port. &ldquo;Roadway and Railway are prerequisites for the port utilization,&rdquo; he adds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As Chinese sea ports are situated in 5,000 kms from the Nepal border, Chinese port will not serve as alternative to Indian port due to issues regarding distance and cost. &ldquo;However, it has opened new door,&rdquo; Ojha mentions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rajan Sharma, Chairman of Nepal Freight Forwarder&rsquo;s Association said that study should have done regarding utilisation of port before finalizing the agreement. &ldquo;The modality on utilisation of the port has not been commenced yet,&rdquo; he says.</p>

It comes in silver, gold, space and rose gold.</p>

<p>No concrete study has been done regarding utilisation of Chinese port. Only after finalizing the agreement, study on model, infrastructure and other aspects of port utilisation are being carried out. &ldquo;Agreement will not be fruitful for instant,&rdquo; says former Commerce Secretary Purushottam Ojha. &nbsp;&ldquo;Nevertheless, the agreement will facilitate bilateral trade with Mid-Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Kirjikistan, Ujbekistan through China.&rdquo; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali traders will not be able to take advantage of the Chinese port without proper development of infrastructures like improvement of roadway to China, road accessibility to additional checkpoints, development of railway to reach the port. According to Ojha, Kimathanka of east, Corola of Mustang, Kerung of Rasuwa and Tatopani checkpoint of Sindhupalchowk have to be operated in order to benefit from the Chinese port. &ldquo;Roadway and Railway are prerequisites for the port utilization,&rdquo; he adds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As Chinese sea ports are situated in 5,000 kms from the Nepal border, Chinese port will not serve as alternative to Indian port due to issues regarding distance and cost. &ldquo;However, it has opened new door,&rdquo; Ojha mentions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rajan Sharma, Chairman of Nepal Freight Forwarder&rsquo;s Association said that study should have done regarding utilisation of port before finalizing the agreement. &ldquo;The modality on utilisation of the port has not been commenced yet,&rdquo; he says.</p>

<p>As the factory provides its services in rural areas, Poudel said that the company will have to operate bearing losses until government provides tax exemptions and ensures easy accessibility of fuel and electricity. &quot;We have been trying to run the factory with generator backup during the power cut, but the lack of fuel creates the trouble again,&quot; he says.</p>

<p>The factory has been producing only 3,000 sacks of cement to the daily capacity of 6,000 sacks due to the ongoing problem. According to Poudel, this pliable situation has created difficulties to pay salaries to the workers of the factory. The industry, which has largest investment in eastern hilly region, has been producing affodable cement in the region . Established in 2008, the investment by Machhapuchhre Bank, Citizens Bank, Prime Bank and Tayal group into the factory has totaled Rs 1.25 billion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali traders will not be able to take advantage of the Chinese port without proper development of infrastructures like improvement of roadway to China, road accessibility to additional checkpoints, development of railway to reach the port. <p>Former chief secretary of Nepal government, Lilamani Paudyal, handed over the shelters to the quake survivors amidst a function held at Padelthor of Gorkha, on Monday.</p>

<p>&ldquo;The shelters have provided some relief to the quake survivors,&rdquo; said Paudyal. Stating that at a time when the government has not been able to rebuild or hand over a single shelter to the quake survivors, he praised the efforts of the foundation in providing more than 2000 CG homes to survivors of the natural disaster.</p>

<p>In a prompt response to the April 25 earthquake and subsequent aftershocks, CF had said it would build 10,000 transitional homes and 100 primary schools. The foundation has already handed over CG Shelters in Ramechhap, Sindhupalchowk, Kavre, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Gorkha (Taklung), among other quake-affected areas.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The factory has been producing only 3,000 sacks of cement to the daily capacity of 6,000 sacks due to the ongoing problem. According to Poudel, this pliable situation has created difficulties to pay salaries to the workers of the factory. The industry, which has largest investment in eastern hilly region, has been producing affodable cement in the region . Established in 2008, the investment by Machhapuchhre Bank, Citizens Bank, Prime Bank and Tayal group into the factory has totaled Rs 1.25 billion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nepali traders will not be able to take advantage of the Chinese port without proper development of infrastructures like improvement of roadway to China, road accessibility to additional checkpoints, development of railway to reach the port. According to Ojha, Kimathanka of east, Corola of Mustang, Kerung of Rasuwa and Tatopani checkpoint of Sindhupalchowk have to be operated in order to benefit from the Chinese port. &ldquo;Roadway and Railway are prerequisites for the port utilization,&rdquo; he adds.&nbsp;</p>
