Trade Flourishing at Northern Border Points KATHMANDU: The Tatopani border with China is witnessing increased activities. Hoteliers in Sindhupalchok, who were shaken by the earthquake and COVID-19, feel relieved by the hustle and bustle of importers busy in importing Chinese goods and transporting them to Kathmandu. After the devastating earthquake in 2015, this border was completely closed for 4 and a half years. It reopened in May 2019 but was closed again in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
