KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have decreased in the domestic market on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of hallmark gold has gone down by Rs 2,700 per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday compared to the previous trading day. Hallmark gold was traded at Rs 1, 44,700 per tola on Friday but the price has dropped to Rs 142, 000 per tola on Sunday.
Similarly, standard gold which was sold at Rs 144,000 per tola on Friday is being traded at Rs 141,300 per tola on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has also declined by Rs 50 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,815 per tola on Sunday. It was sold at Rs 1,865 per tola on Friday. -- RSS
