However, in 2022, when the pandemic subsided and arrival of tourists gradually improved, the length of stay decreased. According to the economic survey, the average stay of tourists dropped to 13.1 days in 2022, which was 15.1 days in 2020 and 15.5 days in 2021.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The 'Nepal Tourism Statistics 2021' released by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation also shows that tourists stayed in Nepal for the longest period of time in the last decade.
