France’s Aviation Authority to Help Enhance Nepal’s Air Safety

June 20: Nepal's air safety system is set to receive a significant boost following the successful agreement reached between the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and the Civil Aviation Authority of France.

The agreement, aimed at enhancing Nepal's air safety, was formalized through the signing of a four-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Paris, the capital of France on Monday.

Pradeep Adhikari, the Director General of CAAN, and Damien Caze, representing the French civil aviation authority, had signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

As per the agreement, the French aviation authority will help improve quality of Nepal’s air safety including technical capacity building and training.
