<p>According to the department, it has issued smart licenses to 354,000 people in the past four years while 203,000 are in queue to obtain the electronic document, according to a report published by Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).</p>

<p>Until last year, the Ekantakuna-based office was the only office to issue smart driving licenses. But now, all transport offices across the country issue smart licenses, according to RSS.</p>

<p>The state-run news agency further said that any individual passing the written exam for acquiring driving license and successfully completing the &#39;trial&#39; are eligible to receive the smart cards and so far 557,000 (for both new and renewed services) have paid the revenue seeking smart cards.</p>

<p>According to RSS, Section Officer Ramesh Poudel admitted that lack of sufficient number of equipment to print cards has caused difficulty to provide cards on time.</p>

<p>Service seekers who have passed the exam as well as trial have to wait for over a year to get smart licenses at present. In order to ease the printing of the smart licenses, the department had awarded a one-off contract some months ago to a private company to print upto 600,000 smart licenses within 45 days. However, the company- Malika Incorporate &ndash; has failed to print the licenses on time reportedly due to technical problems.</p>

<p>Gokarna Prasad Upadhyay, then spokesperson of DoTM, had said in October that more than 500,000 applicants who have already passed the written examinations as well as trial for license were waiting since a long time to get their licenses.</p>

<p>According to the department, it has issued smart licenses to 354,000 people in the past four years while 203,000 are in queue to obtain the electronic document, according to a report published by Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).</p>

<p>Until last year, the Ekantakuna-based office was the only office to issue smart driving licenses. But now, all transport offices across the country issue smart licenses, according to RSS.</p>

<p>The state-run news agency further said that any individual passing the written exam for acquiring driving license and successfully completing the &#39;trial&#39; are eligible to receive the smart cards and so far 557,000 (for both new and renewed services) have paid the revenue seeking smart cards.</p>

<p>According to RSS, Section Officer Ramesh Poudel admitted that lack of sufficient number of equipment to print cards has caused difficulty to provide cards on time.</p>

<p>Service seekers who have passed the exam as well as trial have to wait for over a year to get smart licenses at present. In order to ease the printing of the smart licenses, the department had awarded a one-off contract some months ago to a private company to print upto 600,000 smart licenses within 45 days. However, the company- Malika Incorporate &ndash; has failed to print the licenses on time reportedly due to technical problems.</p>

<p>Gokarna Prasad Upadhyay, then spokesperson of DoTM, had said in October that more than 500,000 applicants who have already passed the written examinations as well as trial for license were waiting since a long time to get their licenses.</p>

<p>Issuing a press statement, the airline company said it will be starting the pilgrimage flights from January 4.</p>

<p>According to Simrik Air, it will take around one and a half hours for the pilgrims to reach Pathivara and return back to Bhedetar under its tour package.</p>

<p>The two-way flight will take around one hour while 30 minutes will be allocated as the ground time at Pathivara for the pilgrims, the company said.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This holy tour is being operated so that most of the Nepalese devotees will be able to reach the temple safely and comfortably without any hassles of walking a long way uphill and again the tedious journey back,&rdquo; said the statement, adding, &ldquo;Most of the senior citizens are expected to benefit from this flight as they can have easy access to the temple in a comfortable ride.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The Nova 3i features dual front facing cameras with a 24MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera in addition to a rear-facing camera with 16MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor.</p>

<p>According to the company, the smartphone is not only equipped with high-performance cameras but is also embedded with a SoC with AI capabilities.</p>

<p>The device sports the latest generation 6.3-inch FHD+ (2340x1080) 19.5:9 full-view display. According to the company, these specs enable the display to push out bigger and sharper images while giving the devices a slenderer look than their predecessors</p>

<p>According to the department, it has issued smart licenses to 354,000 people in the past four years while 203,000 are in queue to obtain the electronic document, according to a report published by Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).</p>

<p>Until last year, the Ekantakuna-based office was the only office to issue smart driving licenses. But now, all transport offices across the country issue smart licenses, according to RSS.</p>

<p>The state-run news agency further said that any individual passing the written exam for acquiring driving license and successfully completing the &#39;trial&#39; are eligible to receive the smart cards and so far 557,000 (for both new and renewed services) have paid the revenue seeking smart cards.</p>

<p>According to RSS, Section Officer Ramesh Poudel admitted that lack of sufficient number of equipment to print cards has caused difficulty to provide cards on time.</p>

<p>Service seekers who have passed the exam as well as trial have to wait for over a year to get smart licenses at present. In order to ease the printing of the smart licenses, the department had awarded a one-off contract some months ago to a private company to print upto 600,000 smart licenses within 45 days. However, the company- Malika Incorporate &ndash; has failed to print the licenses on time reportedly due to technical problems.</p>

<p>Gokarna Prasad Upadhyay, then spokesperson of DoTM, had said in October that more than 500,000 applicants who have already passed the written examinations as well as trial for license were waiting since a long time to get their licenses.</p>

<p>According to the department, it has issued smart licenses to 354,000 people in the past four years while 203,000 are in queue to obtain the electronic document, according to a report published by Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).</p>

<p>Until last year, the Ekantakuna-based office was the only office to issue smart driving licenses. But now, all transport offices across the country issue smart licenses, according to RSS.</p>

<p>The state-run news agency further said that any individual passing the written exam for acquiring driving license and successfully completing the &#39;trial&#39; are eligible to receive the smart cards and so far 557,000 (for both new and renewed services) have paid the revenue seeking smart cards.</p>

<p>According to RSS, Section Officer Ramesh Poudel admitted that lack of sufficient number of equipment to print cards has caused difficulty to provide cards on time.</p>

<p>Service seekers who have passed the exam as well as trial have to wait for over a year to get smart licenses at present. In order to ease the printing of the smart licenses, the department had awarded a one-off contract some months ago to a private company to print upto 600,000 smart licenses within 45 days. However, the company- Malika Incorporate &ndash; has failed to print the licenses on time reportedly due to technical problems.</p>

<p>Gokarna Prasad Upadhyay, then spokesperson of DoTM, had said in October that more than 500,000 applicants who have already passed the written examinations as well as trial for license were waiting since a long time to get their licenses.</p>

<p>The two-way flight will take around one hour while 30 minutes will be allocated as the ground time at Pathivara for the pilgrims, the company said.</p>

<p>&ldquo;This holy tour is being operated so that most of the Nepalese devotees will be able to reach the temple safely and comfortably without any hassles of walking a long way uphill and again the tedious journey back,&rdquo; said the statement, adding, &ldquo;Most of the senior citizens are expected to benefit from this flight as they can have easy access to the temple in a comfortable ride.&rdquo;</p>
