<p style="text-align:justify">The paid-up capital of the merged entity has reached Rs 4.67 billion while reserve fund totals Rs 990 million. &quot;As, the excess money accumulated from swap ratio is transfer to reserve fund and while distributing bonus share from it, it is calculated in paid-up capital. Thus, the paid-up capital of the bank has reached Rs 5.66 billion including reserve fund,&quot; said Ramesh Raj Aryal, CEO of NCC Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bank is required to insert additional Rs 2.66 billion in its paid-up capital to meet the minimum paid-up capital cap of Rs 8 billion. CEO Aryal said that the bank will meet the capital requirement in the stipulated time by any means. &quot;The bank has targeted to meet the paid-up capital even by distributing bonus share from its accumulated profit.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">After the merger, the deposit collection and loan extension of the bank has amounted to Rs 54.37 billion and 48.62 billion respectively. Similarly, the network of the bank has expanded to 96 branches and 61 ATMs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the statistics of the department, the country&#39;s total foreign trade amounted to Rs 413 billion in the first five months period of the current FY. In the review period of the last FY, the total foreign trade had contracted to Rs 241.27 billion due to border blockade. However, with the normal condition, the foreign trade has increased by 41.13 per cent in the current FY.</p>

<p>As per the first five months statistics published by the department, Nepal has imported merchandise worth of Rs 382.28 billion from various countries which is 78.26 per cent growth than the review period of the last FY. In the review period of the last FY, such import from India, China and other third countries was Rs 214.44 billion.</p>

<p>Higher rate of import accompanied by lower export has caused the trade deficit to increase by two folds in the first five months of the current FY. During the first five months period of the last FY, Nepal had trade deficit of Rs 188 billion. However, it has increased by 87.44 per cent to Rs 352 billion in the review period of the current FY.</p>

The developer Muktishree Company started the road construction seven years after it got license for the operation of the industry. According to Lok Bahadur Adhikari, Project Coordinator, on the first phase, five kilometer road connecting the mine from Bhapra Khola to Kuwa has come to the final phase.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">From the last week of January, the initial infrastructural preparation for mine excavation will be started. &ldquo;With the construction of the road, now the process of land acquisition will start,&rdquo; Adhikari said. &quot;For that matter, meetings with the locals will be conducted, after which, the land acquisition process will start within a few days to place machinery equipment including excavator and dozer.&quot;</p>

According to Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA, the company can move ahead with promotional plan for tariff. &ldquo;The process of decreasing data rate on volume base is the promotional plan,&rdquo; he said, adding, &ldquo;NTA has provided discount for three months on 4G.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">4G service will not be available in old SIM cards. The service will be available in recently issued universal SIM card only. In order to get the 4G service, customers will have to exchange their old SIM card with a new one.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On December 29, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the promoter company and the BFIs regarding providing a total of Rs 4.51 billion loan to the 33.4MW capacity HEP. Neeraj Kumar Shrestha, CEO of Macchapuchchhre Bank and Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Global Hydropower signed the MoU amid a program.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The total cost of the HEP is estimated to be Rs 6.2 million in which the BFIs&#39; loan investment will be 75 per cent and promoter&#39;s self-investment will be 25 per cent. The HEP is situated in Gumdel of Ramechhap and Bhakanje VDC of Solukhumbu. As per a study, a total of 182.5 million units of power will be generated from the HEP annually.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority, the project will construct a transmission line to connect the electricity produced to New Khimti sub-station for distribution through national transmission system. The HEP promoter targets to construct the primary infrastructure within next 23 months and generate electricity within next four years.</p>

Thus, the policy used as law being ambiguous is absurd, said experts. &ldquo;The implementation of conflicting policy is challenging,&rdquo; said Manohar Prasad Bhattarai, Experts of information and communication.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Meanwhile, Ananda Raj Khanal, Senior Director of NTA disagrees regarding to the conflicting policy. &ldquo;As the mechanisms of merger and entrance of new service provider have different objectives, &nbsp;it should not be tagged as conflicted,&rdquo; he opined. He added that the merger policy is adopted for service providers lacking competitive capacity. &ldquo;It does not mean halting entrance of service provider with competitive capacity.&rdquo;</p>

Thus, the paid-up capital of the bank has reached Rs 5.66 billion including reserve fund,&quot; said Ramesh Raj Aryal, CEO of NCC Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bank is required to insert additional Rs 2.66 billion in its paid-up capital to meet the minimum paid-up capital cap of Rs 8 billion. CEO Aryal said that the bank will meet the capital requirement in the stipulated time by any means. &quot;The bank has targeted to meet the paid-up capital even by distributing bonus share from its accumulated profit.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">After the merger, the deposit collection and loan extension of the bank has amounted to Rs 54.37 billion and 48.62 billion respectively. Similarly, the network of the bank has expanded to 96 branches and 61 ATMs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the first five months statistics published by the department, Nepal has imported merchandise worth of Rs 382.28 billion from various countries which is 78.26 per cent growth than the review period of the last FY. In the review period of the last FY, such import from India, China and other third countries was Rs 214.44 billion.</p>

<p>Higher rate of import accompanied by lower export has caused the trade deficit to increase by two folds in the first five months of the current FY. During the first five months period of the last FY, Nepal had trade deficit of Rs 188 billion. However, it has increased by 87.44 per cent to Rs 352 billion in the review period of the current FY.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">4G service will not be available in old SIM cards. The service will be available in recently issued universal SIM card only. In order to get the 4G service, customers will have to exchange their old SIM card with a new one.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On December 29, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the promoter company and the BFIs regarding providing a total of Rs 4.51 billion loan to the 33.4MW capacity HEP. Neeraj Kumar Shrestha, CEO of Macchapuchchhre Bank and Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Global Hydropower signed the MoU amid a program.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The total cost of the HEP is estimated to be Rs 6.2 million in which the BFIs&#39; loan investment will be 75 per cent and promoter&#39;s self-investment will be 25 per cent. The HEP is situated in Gumdel of Ramechhap and Bhakanje VDC of Solukhumbu. As per a study, a total of 182.5 million units of power will be generated from the HEP annually.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority, the project will construct a transmission line to connect the electricity produced to New Khimti sub-station for distribution through national transmission system. The HEP promoter targets to construct the primary infrastructure within next 23 months and generate electricity within next four years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Meanwhile, Ananda Raj Khanal, Senior Director of NTA disagrees regarding to the conflicting policy. &ldquo;As the mechanisms of merger and entrance of new service provider have different objectives, &nbsp;it should not be tagged as conflicted,&rdquo; he opined. He added that the merger policy is adopted for service providers lacking competitive capacity. &ldquo;It does not mean halting entrance of service provider with competitive capacity.&rdquo;</p>

Thus, the paid-up capital of the bank has reached Rs 5.66 billion including reserve fund,&quot; said Ramesh Raj Aryal, CEO of NCC Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bank is required to insert additional Rs 2.66 billion in its paid-up capital to meet the minimum paid-up capital cap of Rs 8 billion. CEO Aryal said that the bank will meet the capital requirement in the stipulated time by any means. &quot;The bank has targeted to meet the paid-up capital even by distributing bonus share from its accumulated profit.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">After the merger, the deposit collection and loan extension of the bank has amounted to Rs 54.37 billion and 48.62 billion respectively. Similarly, the network of the bank has expanded to 96 branches and 61 ATMs.&nbsp;</p>

However, with the normal condition, the foreign trade has increased by 41.13 per cent in the current FY.</p>

<p>As per the first five months statistics published by the department, Nepal has imported merchandise worth of Rs 382.28 billion from various countries which is 78.26 per cent growth than the review period of the last FY. In the review period of the last FY, such import from India, China and other third countries was Rs 214.44 billion.</p>

<p>Higher rate of import accompanied by lower export has caused the trade deficit to increase by two folds in the first five months of the current FY. During the first five months period of the last FY, Nepal had trade deficit of Rs 188 billion. However, it has increased by 87.44 per cent to Rs 352 billion in the review period of the current FY.</p>

The developer Muktishree Company started the road construction seven years after it got license for the operation of the industry. According to Lok Bahadur Adhikari, Project Coordinator, on the first phase, five kilometer road connecting the mine from Bhapra Khola to Kuwa has come to the final phase.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">From the last week of January, the initial infrastructural preparation for mine excavation will be started. &ldquo;With the construction of the road, now the process of land acquisition will start,&rdquo; Adhikari said. &quot;For that matter, meetings with the locals will be conducted, after which, the land acquisition process will start within a few days to place machinery equipment including excavator and dozer.&quot;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile, NT has not taken approval from NTA on tariff rate till date. According to Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA, the company can move ahead with promotional plan for tariff. &ldquo;The process of decreasing data rate on volume base is the promotional plan,&rdquo; he said, adding, &ldquo;NTA has provided discount for three months on 4G.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">4G service will not be available in old SIM cards. The service will be available in recently issued universal SIM card only. In order to get the 4G service, customers will have to exchange their old SIM card with a new one.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On December 29, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the promoter company and the BFIs regarding providing a total of Rs 4.51 billion loan to the 33.4MW capacity HEP. Neeraj Kumar Shrestha, CEO of Macchapuchchhre Bank and Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Global Hydropower signed the MoU amid a program.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The total cost of the HEP is estimated to be Rs 6.2 million in which the BFIs&#39; loan investment will be 75 per cent and promoter&#39;s self-investment will be 25 per cent. The HEP is situated in Gumdel of Ramechhap and Bhakanje VDC of Solukhumbu. As per a study, a total of 182.5 million units of power will be generated from the HEP annually.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority, the project will construct a transmission line to connect the electricity produced to New Khimti sub-station for distribution through national transmission system. The HEP promoter targets to construct the primary infrastructure within next 23 months and generate electricity within next four years.</p>

He added that the merger policy is adopted for service providers lacking competitive capacity. &ldquo;It does not mean halting entrance of service provider with competitive capacity.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The paid-up capital of the merged entity has reached Rs 4.67 billion while reserve fund totals Rs 990 million. &quot;As, the excess money accumulated from swap ratio is transfer to reserve fund and while distributing bonus share from it, it is calculated in paid-up capital. Thus, the paid-up capital of the bank has reached Rs 5.66 billion including reserve fund,&quot; said Ramesh Raj Aryal, CEO of NCC Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The bank is required to insert additional Rs 2.66 billion in its paid-up capital to meet the minimum paid-up capital cap of Rs 8 billion. CEO Aryal said that the bank will meet the capital requirement in the stipulated time by any means. &quot;The bank has targeted to meet the paid-up capital even by distributing bonus share from its accumulated profit.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">After the merger, the deposit collection and loan extension of the bank has amounted to Rs 54.37 billion and 48.62 billion respectively. Similarly, the network of the bank has expanded to 96 branches and 61 ATMs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the statistics of the department, the country&#39;s total foreign trade amounted to Rs 413 billion in the first five months period of the current FY. However, with the normal condition, the foreign trade has increased by 41.13 per cent in the current FY.</p>

<p>As per the first five months statistics published by the department, Nepal has imported merchandise worth of Rs 382.28 billion from various countries which is 78.26 per cent growth than the review period of the last FY. In the review period of the last FY, such import from India, China and other third countries was Rs 214.44 billion.</p>

<p>Higher rate of import accompanied by lower export has caused the trade deficit to increase by two folds in the first five months of the current FY. During the first five months period of the last FY, Nepal had trade deficit of Rs 188 billion. However, it has increased by 87.44 per cent to Rs 352 billion in the review period of the current FY.</p>

According to Lok Bahadur Adhikari, Project Coordinator, on the first phase, five kilometer road connecting the mine from Bhapra Khola to Kuwa has come to the final phase.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">From the last week of January, the initial infrastructural preparation for mine excavation will be started. &ldquo;With the construction of the road, now the process of land acquisition will start,&rdquo; Adhikari said. &quot;For that matter, meetings with the locals will be conducted, after which, the land acquisition process will start within a few days to place machinery equipment including excavator and dozer.&quot;</p>

According to Digambar Jha, Chairman of NTA, the company can move ahead with promotional plan for tariff. &ldquo;The process of decreasing data rate on volume base is the promotional plan,&rdquo; he said, adding, &ldquo;NTA has provided discount for three months on 4G.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">4G service will not be available in old SIM cards. The service will be available in recently issued universal SIM card only. In order to get the 4G service, customers will have to exchange their old SIM card with a new one.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On December 29, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the promoter company and the BFIs regarding providing a total of Rs 4.51 billion loan to the 33.4MW capacity HEP. Neeraj Kumar Shrestha, CEO of Macchapuchchhre Bank and Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Global Hydropower signed the MoU amid a program.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The total cost of the HEP is estimated to be Rs 6.2 million in which the BFIs&#39; loan investment will be 75 per cent and promoter&#39;s self-investment will be 25 per cent. The HEP is situated in Gumdel of Ramechhap and Bhakanje VDC of Solukhumbu. As per a study, a total of 182.5 million units of power will be generated from the HEP annually.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority, the project will construct a transmission line to connect the electricity produced to New Khimti sub-station for distribution through national transmission system. The HEP promoter targets to construct the primary infrastructure within next 23 months and generate electricity within next four years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">As per the Telecommunications Act 2053, a separate committee under the Chairmanship of Communication Minister has been formulated to take decision on policy formulation and distribution of radio frequency. The policy formulated by the committee exercising the right given by the Act has been implemented as law by the Authority. Thus, the policy used as law being ambiguous is absurd, said experts. &ldquo;The implementation of conflicting policy is challenging,&rdquo; said Manohar Prasad Bhattarai, Experts of information and communication.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Meanwhile, Ananda Raj Khanal, Senior Director of NTA disagrees regarding to the conflicting policy. &ldquo;As the mechanisms of merger and entrance of new service provider have different objectives, &nbsp;it should not be tagged as conflicted,&rdquo; he opined. He added that the merger policy is adopted for service providers lacking competitive capacity. &ldquo;It does not mean halting entrance of service provider with competitive capacity.&rdquo;</p>
