The companies include Kailash Bikash Bank, Varghav Bikash Bank, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank, Kumari Bank and Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Among the companies, Kailash Bikash Bank is issuing 5:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. The bank is issuing 3,160,672 units of right shares worth Rs 316 million. It has set the time limit till March 23 for the application. Global IME Capital will be managing the issue as Issue Manager for the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, Varghav Bikash Bank is opening 1.2 million units of right share issue worth Rs 120 million from March 7. The issue which is being floated in 1:1 ratio will be managed by NMB Capital.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Likewise, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank has also obtained approval for its right share issuance. The bank is issuing 1:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. It is issuing a total of 2579238.45 units of right shares worth Rs 257,923,845. It has appointed Nabil Investment Banking as its Issue Manager; however, the date of issuance has not been fixed.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, SEBON has granted approval of issuing 2:1 right shares to Kumari Bank. The bank is issuing 13,495,832.66 units of right shares worth Rs 1.34 billion. It has appointed Siddhartha Capital as its Issue Manager and the date of issuance has not been fixed. Meanwhile, the bank informed of floating the right shares very soon as it has already obtained approval from SEBON.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Furthermore, Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank has been given approval of issuing 2:1 right shares by SEBON. The bank obtained approval for issuing 900,000 units of right shares worth Rs 90 million. NCM Merchant Banking will be managing the issue. The date of issue has not been fixed yet.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Apart from these companies, Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank have already opened their right share issuance. Existing shareholders of Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank can apply for the shares till March 20 and February 26 respectively.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;The minister made the commitment at an interaction with foreign mission representatives organized on February 15 at the Ministry regarding the preparations of the upcoming Nepal Investment Summit- 2017 .</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The ministry is making preparations for timely reform on necessary laws for creating industrial environment in the country.&nbsp; In this connection, the ministry is in the process of final discussion with the concerned ministries by formulating laws on foreign investment and technology transfer, said Minister Joshi. The proposed laws have provisions for concessions and subsidies to foreign investors at par with Nepali investors, he said, adding it has made the entry and exit of investment easier.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The time now is for the industrial revolution in Nepal, he said, and requested home and foreign investors to take benefit by investing in infrastructure development and production -oriented industries in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The government is planning a two-day Nepal Investment Summit in Kathmandu on March 2-3. Minister Joshi said the attention of all the political parties in Nepal now has been focused towards economic prosperity of the country. &nbsp;There is a situation that no regular meeting has been held of the Industrial Promotion Board which has got the responsibility of facilitation of foreign investment of large amounts.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Stating that he was ready to make arrangement of this board meeting each month in the days ahead, Minister Joshi said concern was shown from international sectors regarding the summit. &nbsp;Senior Manager of the Investment Board and member of the Summit Preparatory Committee Ratish Basnet said commitment for participation has come from various 40 countries so far.&nbsp; Representatives of the foreign missions in the country showed concern on the latest development regarding the Act on foreign investment and technology transfer.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">While stating that an environment for industry is urgent for attracting investment, they said for this, there is a need of timely reform in the Foreign Investment and Technology Transfer Act, Intellectual Property Act and Labor Act.&nbsp; Participating in the programme were representatives of missions of France, USA, UK, Japan and Germany stationed in Nepal.</p>

He stressed on BFIs to give attention on financial literacy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Muktinath Bikash Bank, headquartered at Pokhara, Kaski District, relocated its central office to Kathmandu on the occasion of its 10<sup>th</sup> anniversary. The program also felicitated former 10 Governors of NRB including Himalayan Shamsher Jabara, Dr Bhes Bahadur Thapa, Ganesh Bahadur Thapa and Satyandra Pyara Shrestha. <p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;NRB alerted BFIs on market liquidity due to lack of capital expenditure by the government&quot; reminded Governor Nepal. According to him, BFIs collected Rs 71 billion deposit within January 26-February 9 after the suggestion. He stated that the BFIs should investment the deposit collected from public in productive sector. He also requested them not to invest the money in inappropriate sectors.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile Krishna Raj Lamichhane, Chairman of Development Bankers Association informed that Muktinath Bikash Bank has been able to extend loan of 27 per cent to deprived community. NRB has directed to extend 2 per cent loan to the deprived community.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, Bharat Raj Dhakal, CEO of the bank said that the bank is the first bank to operate microfinance, rural and advance banking simultaneously. The bank collected deposit of Rs 15 billion and extended loan of Rs 13.50 billion till date.&nbsp;</p>

The companies include Kailash Bikash Bank, Varghav Bikash Bank, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank, Kumari Bank and Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Among the companies, Kailash Bikash Bank is issuing 5:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. The bank is issuing 3,160,672 units of right shares worth Rs 316 million. It has set the time limit till March 23 for the application. Global IME Capital will be managing the issue as Issue Manager for the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, Varghav Bikash Bank is opening 1.2 million units of right share issue worth Rs 120 million from March 7. The issue which is being floated in 1:1 ratio will be managed by NMB Capital.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Likewise, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank has also obtained approval for its right share issuance. The bank is issuing 1:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. It is issuing a total of 2579238.45 units of right shares worth Rs 257,923,845. It has appointed Nabil Investment Banking as its Issue Manager; however, the date of issuance has not been fixed.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, SEBON has granted approval of issuing 2:1 right shares to Kumari Bank. The bank is issuing 13,495,832.66 units of right shares worth Rs 1.34 billion. It has appointed Siddhartha Capital as its Issue Manager and the date of issuance has not been fixed. Meanwhile, the bank informed of floating the right shares very soon as it has already obtained approval from SEBON.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Furthermore, Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank has been given approval of issuing 2:1 right shares by SEBON. The bank obtained approval for issuing 900,000 units of right shares worth Rs 90 million. NCM Merchant Banking will be managing the issue. The date of issue has not been fixed yet.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Apart from these companies, Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank have already opened their right share issuance. Existing shareholders of Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank can apply for the shares till March 20 and February 26 respectively.</p>

The proposed laws have provisions for concessions and subsidies to foreign investors at par with Nepali investors, he said, adding it has made the entry and exit of investment easier.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The time now is for the industrial revolution in Nepal, he said, and requested home and foreign investors to take benefit by investing in infrastructure development and production -oriented industries in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The government is planning a two-day Nepal Investment Summit in Kathmandu on March 2-3. Minister Joshi said the attention of all the political parties in Nepal now has been focused towards economic prosperity of the country. &nbsp;There is a situation that no regular meeting has been held of the Industrial Promotion Board which has got the responsibility of facilitation of foreign investment of large amounts.</p>

According to him, BFIs collected Rs 71 billion deposit within January 26-February 9 after the suggestion. He stated that the BFIs should investment the deposit collected from public in productive sector. He also requested them not to invest the money in inappropriate sectors.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile Krishna Raj Lamichhane, Chairman of Development Bankers Association informed that Muktinath Bikash Bank has been able to extend loan of 27 per cent to deprived community. NRB has directed to extend 2 per cent loan to the deprived community.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, Bharat Raj Dhakal, CEO of the bank said that the bank is the first bank to operate microfinance, rural and advance banking simultaneously. The bank collected deposit of Rs 15 billion and extended loan of Rs 13.50 billion till date.&nbsp;</p>

The companies include Kailash Bikash Bank, Varghav Bikash Bank, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank, Kumari Bank and Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Among the companies, Kailash Bikash Bank is issuing 5:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. The bank is issuing 3,160,672 units of right shares worth Rs 316 million. It has set the time limit till March 23 for the application. Global IME Capital will be managing the issue as Issue Manager for the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, Varghav Bikash Bank is opening 1.2 million units of right share issue worth Rs 120 million from March 7. The issue which is being floated in 1:1 ratio will be managed by NMB Capital.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Likewise, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank has also obtained approval for its right share issuance. The bank is issuing 1:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. It is issuing a total of 2579238.45 units of right shares worth Rs 257,923,845. It has appointed Nabil Investment Banking as its Issue Manager; however, the date of issuance has not been fixed.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, SEBON has granted approval of issuing 2:1 right shares to Kumari Bank. The bank is issuing 13,495,832.66 units of right shares worth Rs 1.34 billion. It has appointed Siddhartha Capital as its Issue Manager and the date of issuance has not been fixed. Meanwhile, the bank informed of floating the right shares very soon as it has already obtained approval from SEBON.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Furthermore, Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank has been given approval of issuing 2:1 right shares by SEBON. The bank obtained approval for issuing 900,000 units of right shares worth Rs 90 million. NCM Merchant Banking will be managing the issue. The date of issue has not been fixed yet.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Apart from these companies, Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank have already opened their right share issuance. Existing shareholders of Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank can apply for the shares till March 20 and February 26 respectively.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&nbsp;The minister made the commitment at an interaction with foreign mission representatives organized on February 15 at the Ministry regarding the preparations of the upcoming Nepal Investment Summit- 2017 .</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The ministry is making preparations for timely reform on necessary laws for creating industrial environment in the country.&nbsp; In this connection, the ministry is in the process of final discussion with the concerned ministries by formulating laws on foreign investment and technology transfer, said Minister Joshi. The proposed laws have provisions for concessions and subsidies to foreign investors at par with Nepali investors, he said, adding it has made the entry and exit of investment easier.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The time now is for the industrial revolution in Nepal, he said, and requested home and foreign investors to take benefit by investing in infrastructure development and production -oriented industries in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The government is planning a two-day Nepal Investment Summit in Kathmandu on March 2-3. Minister Joshi said the attention of all the political parties in Nepal now has been focused towards economic prosperity of the country. &nbsp;There is a situation that no regular meeting has been held of the Industrial Promotion Board which has got the responsibility of facilitation of foreign investment of large amounts.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Stating that he was ready to make arrangement of this board meeting each month in the days ahead, Minister Joshi said concern was shown from international sectors regarding the summit. &nbsp;Senior Manager of the Investment Board and member of the Summit Preparatory Committee Ratish Basnet said commitment for participation has come from various 40 countries so far.&nbsp; Representatives of the foreign missions in the country showed concern on the latest development regarding the Act on foreign investment and technology transfer.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">While stating that an environment for industry is urgent for attracting investment, they said for this, there is a need of timely reform in the Foreign Investment and Technology Transfer Act, Intellectual Property Act and Labor Act.&nbsp; Participating in the programme were representatives of missions of France, USA, UK, Japan and Germany stationed in Nepal.</p>

He stated that the BFIs should investment the deposit collected from public in productive sector. He also requested them not to invest the money in inappropriate sectors.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile Krishna Raj Lamichhane, Chairman of Development Bankers Association informed that Muktinath Bikash Bank has been able to extend loan of 27 per cent to deprived community. NRB has directed to extend 2 per cent loan to the deprived community.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, Bharat Raj Dhakal, CEO of the bank said that the bank is the first bank to operate microfinance, rural and advance banking simultaneously. The bank collected deposit of Rs 15 billion and extended loan of Rs 13.50 billion till date.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Among the companies, Kailash Bikash Bank is issuing 5:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. The bank is issuing 3,160,672 units of right shares worth Rs 316 million. It has set the time limit till March 23 for the application. Global IME Capital will be managing the issue as Issue Manager for the bank.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, Varghav Bikash Bank is opening 1.2 million units of right share issue worth Rs 120 million from March 7. The issue which is being floated in 1:1 ratio will be managed by NMB Capital.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Likewise, Deprosc Laghubitta Bikash Bank has also obtained approval for its right share issuance. The bank is issuing 1:1 right shares to its existing shareholders. It is issuing a total of 2579238.45 units of right shares worth Rs 257,923,845. It has appointed Nabil Investment Banking as its Issue Manager; however, the date of issuance has not been fixed.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Moreover, SEBON has granted approval of issuing 2:1 right shares to Kumari Bank. The bank is issuing 13,495,832.66 units of right shares worth Rs 1.34 billion. It has appointed Siddhartha Capital as its Issue Manager and the date of issuance has not been fixed. Meanwhile, the bank informed of floating the right shares very soon as it has already obtained approval from SEBON.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Furthermore, Nerude Laghubitta Bikash Bank has been given approval of issuing 2:1 right shares by SEBON. The bank obtained approval for issuing 900,000 units of right shares worth Rs 90 million. NCM Merchant Banking will be managing the issue. The date of issue has not been fixed yet.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Apart from these companies, Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank have already opened their right share issuance. Existing shareholders of Neco Insurance and Dev Bikash Bank can apply for the shares till March 20 and February 26 respectively.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The ministry is making preparations for timely reform on necessary laws for creating industrial environment in the country.&nbsp; In this connection, the ministry is in the process of final discussion with the concerned ministries by formulating laws on foreign investment and technology transfer, said Minister Joshi. The proposed laws have provisions for concessions and subsidies to foreign investors at par with Nepali investors, he said, adding it has made the entry and exit of investment easier.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The time now is for the industrial revolution in Nepal, he said, and requested home and foreign investors to take benefit by investing in infrastructure development and production -oriented industries in the country.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The government is planning a two-day Nepal Investment Summit in Kathmandu on March 2-3. Minister Joshi said the attention of all the political parties in Nepal now has been focused towards economic prosperity of the country. &nbsp;There is a situation that no regular meeting has been held of the Industrial Promotion Board which has got the responsibility of facilitation of foreign investment of large amounts.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Stating that he was ready to make arrangement of this board meeting each month in the days ahead, Minister Joshi said concern was shown from international sectors regarding the summit. &nbsp;Senior Manager of the Investment Board and member of the Summit Preparatory Committee Ratish Basnet said commitment for participation has come from various 40 countries so far.&nbsp; Representatives of the foreign missions in the country showed concern on the latest development regarding the Act on foreign investment and technology transfer.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">While stating that an environment for industry is urgent for attracting investment, they said for this, there is a need of timely reform in the Foreign Investment and Technology Transfer Act, Intellectual Property Act and Labor Act.&nbsp; Participating in the programme were representatives of missions of France, USA, UK, Japan and Germany stationed in Nepal.</p>

The policy is being formulated with an objective of expanding the campaign through BFIs in order to provide financial accessibility to all countrymen. The information was disseminated by Governor Chiranjibi Nepal during the inauguration of relocated central office of Muktinath Bikash Bank on February 15. He stressed on BFIs to give attention on financial literacy.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Muktinath Bikash Bank, headquartered at Pokhara, Kaski District, relocated its central office to Kathmandu on the occasion of its 10<sup>th</sup> anniversary. The program also felicitated former 10 Governors of NRB including Himalayan Shamsher Jabara, Dr Bhes Bahadur Thapa, Ganesh Bahadur Thapa and Satyandra Pyara Shrestha. Similarly, Dr Tilak Rawal, Dipendra Purush Dhakal, Bijay Nath Bhattrai, Dipendra Bahadur Chettri, Dr Yubraj Khatiwada and Krishna Bahadur Manandhar (Acting) were also felicitated.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&quot;NRB alerted BFIs on market liquidity due to lack of capital expenditure by the government&quot; reminded Governor Nepal. According to him, BFIs collected Rs 71 billion deposit within January 26-February 9 after the suggestion. He stated that the BFIs should investment the deposit collected from public in productive sector. He also requested them not to invest the money in inappropriate sectors.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile Krishna Raj Lamichhane, Chairman of Development Bankers Association informed that Muktinath Bikash Bank has been able to extend loan of 27 per cent to deprived community. NRB has directed to extend 2 per cent loan to the deprived community.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, Bharat Raj Dhakal, CEO of the bank said that the bank is the first bank to operate microfinance, rural and advance banking simultaneously. The bank collected deposit of Rs 15 billion and extended loan of Rs 13.50 billion till date.&nbsp;</p>
