January 27: Prabhu Bank has reappointed Ashok Sherchan as its CEO for a second term. Issuing a statement, the banks said that Sherchan has been appointed for another four-year term.
His current term is expiring on February 1. The bank said that Sherchan was a deputy CEO during the merger of Prabhu Bikas Bank and Kist Bank. He was appointed the CEO first time a day after the bank’s acquisition of Grand Bank.
He has 21 years of experience in the banking sector. Previously, he had held different posts at NCC Bank, NB Bank, Prabhu Finance and Brabhu Bikas Bank.
Sherchan is also an executive committee member of Nepal Bankers’ Association.
