January 27: Beauty Parlour Association, Kaski organised a ‘hair and make-up seminar’ in Pokhara on Saturday, January 26. Different types of beautician trainings including fashion make-up, bridal make-up and Keratin hair straightening training were given during the one-day event.

On the occasion, Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s President Damu Adhikari said that the training given during the event should to be grasped carefully and also implemented properly. Comparing beauticians with doctors, Adhikari even appealed to the customers not to use make-up and cosmetic products that cause side-effect.

 Chinu Gurung, the event coordinator, informed New Business Age that the seminar was organised with the aim to disseminate information about new skills and technologies introduced in the international market. According to her, different national and international beauty trainers provided training at the event.

GK Hair’s Tricia Ostrom, internationally certified make-up artist Aamuna Lasta and senior hair technician Samir Khan provided the training.
