January 25: Muktinath Bikas Bank has opened its new branch at Kupandol, Lalitpur. Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City’s Chiribabu Maharjan inaugurated the branch amid a function on Thursday, January 24. </p>

During the inauguration, CEO Pradhyuman Pokharel shed light on the bank’s present situation and plans for extending its branches.</p>

The bank has been operating 14 branches in the valley at Kupandol, Maharajgunj, Kamaladi, Sitapaila, Kuleshwar, Lagankhel, New Road, New Baneshwar, Chabahil, Machhapokhari, Koteshwar, Jorpati, Thamel and Kamalpokhari of Bhaktapur. Likewise, it is also preparing to open branches in Imadol, Bhainsipati, Thimi, Banepa, Dhungeadda and Battisputali, the bank said in a statement.</p>
