November 19: Yeti Airlines has pledged to promote gender equality in the aviation sector. This was reflected during the welcoming of an all-female team of the UN by an all-female flight crew members of Yeti Airlines on Sunday, November 18.
Yeti airlines said in a statement that its all-female flight crew members served the all-female team of the UN led by Deputy Secretary General of United Nations Amina Jane Mohammed. The visiting team also included UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative to Nepal Valerie Julliand and fellow UN dignitaries, according to the statement issued by Yeti Airlines.
Yeti Airlines said it strongly believes in and is committed to enhancing gender equality in the aviation sector and the advancement of woman's development by Supporting UN Sustainable Development Goal-5 which aims to "achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls".
