Effective this week, the Thai airline will start offering the small tablets to its ‘Blue Ribbon’ business class passengers. <strong>Boeing 787 Dreamliners Jets Shows Hairline Cracks On the Wings</strong></div>
<div>
Boeing has disclosed that some of the planes about 40 of 787 Dreamliners had hairline cracks on the wings of the jets which are still in the production stage. The aerospace company is inspecting the 40 planes. It will take a week to address the issue and the company spokesperson said that the company is confident that the problem does not exist for any planes currently in service. Test flights are being conducted on the planes in question. The manufacturing process may be responsible for the cracks, Boeing (BA, Fortune 500). The date of delivery is likely to get delayed. Also the added cost on repair and possible minor increase in the weight of the plane will naturally put Boeing at a greater disadvantage, felt industry experts. Boeing, based in Chicago, said it immediately notified customers of potential delays. It said none of the jets affected by the problem have been delivered. Boeing shares fell 54 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $128.00 in after-hours trading. (Travelandtourworld.com)</div>

<strong>Germany Set To Welcome 80 Million Global Travellers By 2020</strong></div>
<div>
80 million overnights booked by foreign visitors in 2020 – this is the goal of the German National Tourism Board (DZT), which in 2013 saw figures close in on this target. At 71.9 million visitors, a new record was set. 75 per cent came from European countries, of whom the majority were Dutch, followed by the Swiss. In his speech, Klaus Laepple, president of DZT, struck a political note: “Germany’s tourism industry can only flourish if Germany’s neighbours are economically stable. If your heart beats for tourism then I urge you to vote in the European elections.” Speaking on Wednesday at ITB Berlin, Petra Hedorfer, head of the board of DZT, noted that the UK, Russia and Switzerland had recorded the highest growth rates. Germany was also the favourite holiday of the Swiss. For the last four years Germany had been the second most popular destination, behind Spain and ahead of France. (Travelandtourworld.com)</div>',

<strong>Boeing 787 Dreamliners Jets Shows Hairline Cracks On the Wings</strong></div>
<div>

<div>

<div>

<div>

Bangkok Airways has started offering its passengers in-flight entertainment for the first time, with the roll out of onboard iPad minis. Effective this week, the Thai airline will start offering the small tablets to its ‘Blue Ribbon’ business class passengers. These devices will come equipped with a range of content including new-release Hollywood movies, TV programmes, music and games. “Delivering an outstanding passenger experience is at the heart of our ethos at Bangkok Airways,” said Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, Bangkok Airways’ president. “We wanted to go an extra mile to ensure that our business class travellers’ flying experience is more pleasurable and enjoyable.” The iPad minis will be offered free-of-charge to all business class passengers, initially on the Bangkok-Maldives, Koh Samui-Hong Kong and Koh Samui-Singapore routes. <em>(Traveldailymedia.com)</em></div>

<strong>Boeing 787 Dreamliners Jets Shows Hairline Cracks On the Wings</strong></div>
<div>

<div>
