According to the organisers, the winning teams will receive support and funding to turn their ideas into reality that can help address these important issues.
Issuing a statement, the organisers said the theme for this year is ‘unlimited’, offering students a broad outlook to choose any field that appeals to them and align it to the Sustainable Development Goals accordingly to create a positive impact on the world.
“We provide a platform for students to bring forward their innovative ideas which are linked to sustainable goals and making a positive impact on the world,” reads the statement.
The statement added that applications are open for the OnCampus Competition at Hult Prize KCM. Applicants need to join in a group of minimum of three individuals and come up with revolutionary and sustainable solutions to curb growing social issues.
Participating in this event provides students with networking opportunities, entrepreneurial skills, guidance from experts and eventually the winners are provided with a seed capital of $1 million for their sustainable business by the Hult Prize Foundation, added the statement.
The OnCampus competition finale will be held on February 23, 2024. The winners of the OnCampus Finals will have the opportunity to compete in the Hult Prize Summits. The winners will get the opportunity to select the summit that they want to compete in.
