April 4: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed the prices of different petroleum products effective from Monday midnight. 

According to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), price of diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel has deceased by Rs 10 per litre each while petrol's price is lowered by Rs 3 per litre. However, the NOC has kept the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unchanged.

 Issuing a notice, the NOC said price of petrol is now fixed at Rs 175 per litre while price of diesel and kerosene is Rs 165 per litre. 
Likewise, the price of aviation fuel for the domestic flight is now fixed at Rs 160 per litre. 

A meeting of the NOC Board of Directors held Monday decided to cut the price of petroleum products after the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) lowered the import price of petroleum products.
