<p><span style="font-size:18px"> The balance of Payments (BOP) stood at a deficit of Rs 247 billion in the same period of the last fiscal year, according to the Current Macroeconomic and Financial Situation Report published by Nepal Rastra Bank on Sunday. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px">In American Dollar terms, the Balance of Payments (BOP) has remained at a surplus of 1.1 billion in the review period compared to a deficit of USD 2.7 billion in the same period of the last fiscal year. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px">According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the current account has remained at a deficit of Rs 29.64 billion in the first seven months of the current fiscal year compared to a deficit of Rs 411.34 billion in the same period of the last FY. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px">In the US Dollar terms, the current account is at a deficit of 230 million compared to a deficit of 3.45 billion in the same period of the last fiscal year. </span><br />
