<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">According to the company, it has been providing scholarships to students in the faculties of Civil, Electrical, </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Electronics and Communication, Computer, and Mechanical engineering under this programme. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Issuing a statement on Monday, Ncell said that </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">the scholarships and excellence awards were handed over to students amidst a special ceremony organised at Ncell ICON, the headquarters of the company in Kathmandu along with the faculty of IoE and family members of the students.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">According to the company, a total of 18 Ncell Scholarships were conferred to topper students from 2022 till now.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Similarly, six students who graduated from the five faculties securing the highest marks received the Ncell Excellence Awards.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">They were honoured jointly by Campus Chief Associate </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Professor Dr Indra Prasad Acharya of IOE Pulchowk Campus and </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Andy Chong, CEO of Ncell. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Likewise, Ncell Scholarships were handed over to the students by CEO Chong and two members of Ncell’s Executive Committee—</span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> Adeel Israr, chief technical and enterprise business officer, and </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Iftakhar Islam, strategy director—along with Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, head of Corporate Communications and CSR.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Addressing the scholarships and excellence awards handover programme, Prof. Dr. Sushil Bajracharya, acting dean of IOE said, “We are very thankful to Ncell for instituting this programme and encouraging our students every year for their academic excellence. The Ncell Scholarships and Excellence Awards has set an example. Ncell is not only popular in communications but also in its social initiatives that the company has implemented in various sectors.”</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Andy Chong, CEO of Ncell, said, “We are pleased to be contributing towards development of young pool of talents, based on their academic excellence, through Ncell Scholarships and Excellence Awards since 2014.
