Narayangadh-Muglin Road to Be Closed for Four Hours Daily 

    

December 13: Vehicular movement along Narayangadh-Muglin road section will be closed to construct bridges for four hours daily. 

 

A meeting held at the District Administration Office (DAO) Chitwan chaired by CDO Ashman Tamang took the decision to close the transportation service along the road for a month starting from December 20. The road will be closed from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. 
 

The vehicular movement will be shut down for the construction of bridges over Kalikhola, Simtal, Tuin Khola, and Chisenji khola.
 

As per the decision, passenger buses, mini bus, micro buses, and small vehicles coming from Narayangadh will be stopped from 15 Kilo market to Jugedi. Heavy vehicles such as trucks, lorries, trailers, tippers and tankers will be stopped from Bhateri jungle to Ramnagar at 11: 00 am.

 

Similarly, commuter buses coming from Kathmandu will be stopped from Muglin Bazar to Manakamana Cable Car gate, while passenger buses coming from Pokhara will be stopped from Benitar to Powerhouse at 10:55 am.
Likewise, heavy vehicles coming from Kathmandu will be stopped at Lewatar, whereas heavy vehicles coming from Pokhara will be stopped at Aanbukahireni at 10:45 am. 

 

During the road closure, ambulances and firefighters, however, will be allowed to ply. 
Contractors assigned agreement to construct bridges will deploy adequate manpower and resources to expedite the construction work. Meanwhile, the road will be repaired in different places simultaneously along the same section.
