May 24: Buddha Air, one of country’s leading private airliners, is adding an additional flight to Surkhet from Kathmandu.

The airline in a statement said that it will commence two regular flights between Surkhet and Kathmandu from June 16.

Currently, Buddha Air has been operating a solo flight to Surkhet at 8 am every morning from Kathmandu during normal weather conditions.

The airline had introduced flights to Surkhet from last year with an ATR-42 aircraft. Now, it will operate an additional flight to Surkhet at 4 pm everyday from June 16 onwards.

Buddha currently charges Rs 7,830 per passenger for Surkhet flight from Kathmandu.
