Issuing a press statement, the company said that the users can get up to Rs 30 (per referral) by referring the application to other contacts.</p>
<p>
“The offer has been launched in a bid to promote cashless transaction in the country,” the statement reads.</p>
<p>
According to Roshan Lamichhane, chief operating officer at eSewa, the offer has been introduced to build a cashless society.</p>
<p>
“As the stakeholders are pushing for a cashless society, the offer helps to fulfill the dreams to achieve digital society,” he said.</p>
<p>
The users can pay electricity, internet and water bills from eSewa. The users can also purchase air and bus tickets and top-up balance on their mobile phones. Currently, a total of 51 banks and financial institutions are members of eSewa.</p>
