April 16: Kumari Bank Limited has been bagged an international award at the InfoSys Finacle Client Innovation Awards 2019. Issuing a statement on Monday, the bank said it is the first ever Nepali bank to receive the “Accelerated Transformation Award” from Finacle InfoSys.</p>

The Finacle Client Innovation Award is a global platform of recognition given to banks delivering breakthrough innovations in banking products, customer service, process design and distribution channels via capitalization on Finacle solutions, according to the statement.</p>
<p>
With over 250 nominations received for eight categories, Kumari Bank Limited successfully bagged the title for core banking modernization in the “Accelerated Transformation” category this year.</p>
<p>
“With this, Kumari Bank has set up a historical record for successful migration of CBS Finacle Version 10.2.19 in the shortest recorded time of 4.5 months. Similarly, in the same category, Punjab National Bank has also bagged the award for its agile core transformation. Likewise, ICICI bank, Andhra Bank and Emirates NDB (UAE) were among the runner-ups within the category,” the statement said. </p>
