April 3: NIC Asia Bank and Mahalaxmi Life Insurance have signed an agreement to provide bancassurance service to their customers.  The bank’s CEO Roshan Kumar Neupane and the insurance company’s CEO Ramesh Kumar Bhattarai signed the agreement on behalf of the respective organizations.

According to the agreement, the bank’s customers can avail all kinds of life insurance policies provided by Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Company through any branch of the bank. The bank said it has been providing services through 271 branches to around 1.45 million customers across the country.
