February 27: Automobile brand Mahindra and Mahindra has felicitated various personalities for their notable contribution to the society during the “Mahindra Achievers Night” organised this weekend.

Issuing a statement, the company said it provided the Excellence in Sports Award to Nepali cricket team’s captain Paras Khadka. Likewise, women footballers Anjila Subba and Sabitra Bhandari also bagged the same award in the women’s section.

The company handed the Excellence in Entertainment Award to Lochan Rijal for promoting Nepali folk songs in the international arena.

Swastima Khadka also bagged the Excellence in Entertainment Award for her success in the film industry in a short period.

Meanwhile, Bollywood actress and cancer survivor Manisha Koirala was given the Excellence in Social Cause Award for her contribution to social work.
