February 13: Lumbini Bikas Bank has provided financial support to Shahara Academy of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, Kaski. The bank’s Director Sushil Raj Parajuli handed over a cheque of Rs 294,000 to the academy’s chairman Keshav Bahadur Thapa on Thursday, February 7, according to a press statement issued by the bank on February 12.</p>
<p>
The bank said in the statement that it provided the amount to support the day-to-day food management of the academy for the 28 orphan and helpless students from 16 districts taking shelter at the academy. The bank said it supported the academy under its corporate social responsibility.</p>
<p>
On the occasion, Parajuli said that the bank will be contributing to different social causes in the coming days as well. </p>
