The company said in a statement that the international-standard beer is brewed in Nepal with imported ‘malts and select hops’.</p>
<p>
According to the company, Mountain Ice promises a strong, smooth and refreshing drinking experience with 6.5% alcohol content at a price of Rs 230 for 650 ml bottle.</p>

“Mountain Ice answers the consumers’ demand for scaling up to a world-class strong beer that comes with a premium brand and premium packaging,” said Raj Bahadur Shah, managing director of Jawalakhel Group of Industries</p>
<p>
“The market for strong beer is consistently growing, and this trend is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. However, there lacked a good quality beer in this segment, where we stepped in with a world class brew,” said Sashin Joshi, group executive director of JGI. </p>
<p>
The product will debut this month in the capital and tier-A cities and will shortly be available throughout Nepal, the statement added.</p>
