<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;The new Honda motorcycle has a modern touch and is specially designed for the youth,&rdquo; says the company in a press statement. Its headlight with upward facing side indicators is sharp and edgy. It also contains X- shaped LED light. The tank is masked with carbon pattern tank cover with Honda&rsquo;s symbol over it. This motorcycle also contains fully digital meter display which boosts the look of motorcycle. &ldquo;Similarly, it has 140 mm rear tyre that are new to the Honda line-up,&rdquo; informs the company. Hornet 160R has a powerful 163cc engine that gives extra thrust and delivers good low end torque. The single cylinder engine develops 15.66 bhp at 8500 rpm of maximum power and 14.76 NM at 6500 rpm of maximum torque. The engine in the motorcycle is equipped with a counter balance that produces the power in the compression of 10:1 ratio. The mileage of the motorcycle is 60 kmpl and top speed is 110 kmph.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It is available in five different colors. The disc break is connected on both front and back of the motorcycle with the combi breaking mechanism. The suspension at front is telescopic whereas rear has a monoshock suspension.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>CB Hornet in Pokhara</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile, Kunwar Brothers and Sons, the authorized distributor of Honda two-wheelers for Pokhara, has started the selling of Honda CB Hornet 160R amid a program. YS Gulariya, senior vice-chairman of HMSI started the sales of the new Honda motorcycle. According to Chandra Kunwar, Managing Director of Kunwar Brothers and Sons, the motorcycle is priced at Rs 260,000. He informs that the customers can get discount of Rs 4,000 to Rs 1, 00,000 through the SMS service. The company is providing 20 percent discount on servicing and 10 percent discount on spare parts for five years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">DOED has informed that survey licenses have been issued to small hydro power projects such as 993KW Gopi Khola Project of Gopi Vinayak Hydro Power Project in border area of Namdu and Veerkot VDC, 140KW Yalung Khola Project of Hemraj Gubhaju in Mali, 635KW Jhakre Khola Project of Himal Power Limited, 1 MW Gumu Khola Project of Saskan Pvt Ltd and 1 MW Ghyang Khola Project of Neel Ganga Hydro Power. Meanwhile, 1 MW Upper Khimti Khola of Global Hydro Power Associated, 800 KW Andheri Khola Project of Deepak Kumar Budhathoki, 600KW Open River Turbine of Tamakoshi in Bhedup Region of Glow Tek Solution and 1 MW Marbu Ghatte Khola Project of Poverty Alleviation Electricity Generating Company have also obtained the survey licenses.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, medium hydle projects obtaining survey license are 9 MW Lower Khani Khola Project of Engine Consultancy in Marbu VDC, 7 MW Suri Khola Project of Makar Jitumaya Hydropower in Chankhu and Suri VDC, 6.4 MW Lower Charnawati Khola Project of Nepal Hydro Developer and 4.35MW Pegu Khola Project of Sabitri Shrestha in Bigu VDC. Likewise, survey liscenses for 4.74MW Sanghu Khola Project of Sanjay Shrestha in Aalampu and Bigu VDC and in big hydro power projects, 62 MW Jum Khola Project of Sanima Hydropower in Lama Bagar VDC in Chinese Border Area have also been issued.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Although Rs 40 billion invested in the further public offering (FPO) of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has returned to banking system, Rs 30 billion of that amount was earlier used in tax payment in mid-April, thus there is no excess liquidity in the market,&rdquo; says Bhuwan Dhahal, CEO of Sanima Bank. He signaled that banks&rsquo; lending interest rate might also increase with the growth in loan investments and decline in excess liquidity.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Interest rate in bank loans in some &lsquo;segments&rsquo; is rising,&rdquo; he says.&nbsp; He informs that banks are charging modestly high interest rates than earlier to creditors who are on &lsquo;row over&rsquo;. According to the bankers, there is a possibility of increase in interest rates in the April-May period. Nevertheless, bankers estimate of higher liquidity by mid-May due to the increase of the government&rsquo;s capital expenditure.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

Being a destination near to district headquarter, it is easy to bring tourists for the home stay,&rdquo; he informs. According to him, other houses in the village will also start home stay services very soon. 20 houses in the village of 100 houses have started the preparation of the service.</p>

<p>Thini village invites tourists regularly being the main entry point to the tourists going Dhumba Lake, Hyarojo View Point and Tilicho lake. Moreover, due to its high altitude visitors can get the direct observation of mountains like Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Similarly, about 80 percent land of the district can be observed from view point.</p>

<p>Currently, 300 small and large hotels are running in Mustang from Tele to Lomathanka.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Nevertheless, the overall FDI entering Nepali hotel sector has fallen by 70 percent. FDI worth of Rs 5.22 billion were proposed for hotel sector in the year 2071 which was limited to Rs 1.57 billion in 2072. &ldquo;Investment money has decreased in compare to number of hotels,&rdquo; says Rudra Bahadur Malla, spokesperson and Director of Industry Department. According to him, 123 hotels and resorts were registered for operation in 2071 which has decreased to 102 in the year 2072.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hotel entrepreneurs view the last year&rsquo;s devastating earthquake and border blockade as the main cause of decrease in FDI. &ldquo;Foreign Investors are in the state of &lsquo;wait and see&rsquo;, investment will flow to Nepal once the environment becomes favorable,&rdquo; says General Secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal, Binayak Shah.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Investor still needs to go through various hassles due to non implementation of FDI laws,&rdquo; he adds. &ldquo;The proposed investments in hotel sector are just commitments. Billions of investment will enter Nepal if we achieve political stability.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The highest number of hotels and resorts registered for operation under foreign investment in 2071 and 2072 are located in Kathmandu followed by Lalitpur. Investment of more than 1 billion has been committed for 62 hotels of Kathmandu. People who are employed and searching employment are considered to be involved in the labour market.</p>

<p>According to the latest population census, among the total Nepali population of 26,484,000, population above 15 years comprises 19,800,000. &ldquo;Nearly 4 million population of the age group has left the country for employment which might be the reason of low participation in labour market,&rdquo; says Dr Rudra Suwal, Deputy Director of Central Bureau of Statistics. &ldquo;Migration from Rural to Urban area and immigration of manpower in foreign countries might be the reason of decreasing labour participation,&rdquo; he opines, adding, &ldquo;There is no compulsion to work in urban area as in rural area.&rdquo; There is a lot of population living inactive life, survived on remittance send by their relatives working aboard. In the Nepal Labour Force Survey 2011, the participation rate was 83.4 percent.</p>

<p>The survey has shown that participation of male are more than female in labour market. In the last FY, 78.7 percent male and 75.9 percent females were active in labour market which was 83.8 percent and 79.7 percent in the previous FY. The survey also showed that the rural population is more involve in labour market than the urban population. In the last FY, 82.2 percent rural population and only 66.2 percent of urban population were involve in labour market while it was 87 percent and 65.2 percent in the previous FY.</p>

<p>The survey also showed that the number of unskilled and uneducated manpower is more than the skilled and educated manpower in the labour market. During the last FY, 82.8 percent uneducated and 74.5 percent educated manpower participated in labour market which was 85.6 percent and 81.2 percent respectively in previous FY.</p>

<p>Among the employed population, 69.5 percent are engaged in agriculture, forest and fisheries sectors (it was 68.8 percent in previous FY). After that, wholesale and retail business sector comes second (6.5 percent) and manufacturing comes third (5.9 percent). It was 7 percent and 6.3 percent respectively in previous FY. The total of 82.2 percent of first quintile (the poorest) and 66.8 percent of fifth quintile (the richest) are participating in the labour market. It was 87.5 percent and 70.6 percent respectively in the previous FY.</p>

This motorcycle also contains fully digital meter display which boosts the look of motorcycle. &ldquo;Similarly, it has 140 mm rear tyre that are new to the Honda line-up,&rdquo; informs the company. Hornet 160R has a powerful 163cc engine that gives extra thrust and delivers good low end torque. The single cylinder engine develops 15.66 bhp at 8500 rpm of maximum power and 14.76 NM at 6500 rpm of maximum torque. The engine in the motorcycle is equipped with a counter balance that produces the power in the compression of 10:1 ratio. The mileage of the motorcycle is 60 kmpl and top speed is 110 kmph.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It is available in five different colors. The disc break is connected on both front and back of the motorcycle with the combi breaking mechanism. The suspension at front is telescopic whereas rear has a monoshock suspension.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile, Kunwar Brothers and Sons, the authorized distributor of Honda two-wheelers for Pokhara, has started the selling of Honda CB Hornet 160R amid a program. YS Gulariya, senior vice-chairman of HMSI started the sales of the new Honda motorcycle. According to Chandra Kunwar, Managing Director of Kunwar Brothers and Sons, the motorcycle is priced at Rs 260,000. He informs that the customers can get discount of Rs 4,000 to Rs 1, 00,000 through the SMS service. The company is providing 20 percent discount on servicing and 10 percent discount on spare parts for five years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">DOED has informed that survey licenses have been issued to small hydro power projects such as 993KW Gopi Khola Project of Gopi Vinayak Hydro Power Project in border area of Namdu and Veerkot VDC, 140KW Yalung Khola Project of Hemraj Gubhaju in Mali, 635KW Jhakre Khola Project of Himal Power Limited, 1 MW Gumu Khola Project of Saskan Pvt Ltd and 1 MW Ghyang Khola Project of Neel Ganga Hydro Power. Meanwhile, 1 MW Upper Khimti Khola of Global Hydro Power Associated, 800 KW Andheri Khola Project of Deepak Kumar Budhathoki, 600KW Open River Turbine of Tamakoshi in Bhedup Region of Glow Tek Solution and 1 MW Marbu Ghatte Khola Project of Poverty Alleviation Electricity Generating Company have also obtained the survey licenses.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, medium hydle projects obtaining survey license are 9 MW Lower Khani Khola Project of Engine Consultancy in Marbu VDC, 7 MW Suri Khola Project of Makar Jitumaya Hydropower in Chankhu and Suri VDC, 6.4 MW Lower Charnawati Khola Project of Nepal Hydro Developer and 4.35MW Pegu Khola Project of Sabitri Shrestha in Bigu VDC. Likewise, survey liscenses for 4.74MW Sanghu Khola Project of Sanjay Shrestha in Aalampu and Bigu VDC and in big hydro power projects, 62 MW Jum Khola Project of Sanima Hydropower in Lama Bagar VDC in Chinese Border Area have also been issued.</p>

The Japanese agency has mobilised its resources to rebuild schools, health posts and roads of rural areas affected by the last year&rsquo;s devastating earthquake.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">JICA earlier committed Rs 26.19 billion to help Nepal for the post-quake reconstruction which includes the rebuild more than 300 schools in Gorkha, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk , Dhading, Makwanpur and Lalitpur. According to Reecha Ranjitkar of JICA Nepal, the roads and health posts will also be reconstructed using the same fund.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Although Rs 40 billion invested in the further public offering (FPO) of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has returned to banking system, Rs 30 billion of that amount was earlier used in tax payment in mid-April, thus there is no excess liquidity in the market,&rdquo; says Bhuwan Dhahal, CEO of Sanima Bank. He signaled that banks&rsquo; lending interest rate might also increase with the growth in loan investments and decline in excess liquidity.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Interest rate in bank loans in some &lsquo;segments&rsquo; is rising,&rdquo; he says.&nbsp; He informs that banks are charging modestly high interest rates than earlier to creditors who are on &lsquo;row over&rsquo;. According to the bankers, there is a possibility of increase in interest rates in the April-May period. Nevertheless, bankers estimate of higher liquidity by mid-May due to the increase of the government&rsquo;s capital expenditure.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

Being a destination near to district headquarter, it is easy to bring tourists for the home stay,&rdquo; he informs. According to him, other houses in the village will also start home stay services very soon. 20 houses in the village of 100 houses have started the preparation of the service.</p>

<p>Thini village invites tourists regularly being the main entry point to the tourists going Dhumba Lake, Hyarojo View Point and Tilicho lake. Moreover, due to its high altitude visitors can get the direct observation of mountains like Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Similarly, about 80 percent land of the district can be observed from view point.</p>

<p>Currently, 300 small and large hotels are running in Mustang from Tele to Lomathanka.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Different programmes will be organised for the development of home stay service,&rdquo; informs Bel Bahadur Pun, Tourism Assistant of ACAP.</p>

According to him, 123 hotels and resorts were registered for operation in 2071 which has decreased to 102 in the year 2072.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hotel entrepreneurs view the last year&rsquo;s devastating earthquake and border blockade as the main cause of decrease in FDI. &ldquo;Foreign Investors are in the state of &lsquo;wait and see&rsquo;, investment will flow to Nepal once the environment becomes favorable,&rdquo; says General Secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal, Binayak Shah.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Investor still needs to go through various hassles due to non implementation of FDI laws,&rdquo; he adds. &ldquo;The proposed investments in hotel sector are just commitments. Billions of investment will enter Nepal if we achieve political stability.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The highest number of hotels and resorts registered for operation under foreign investment in 2071 and 2072 are located in Kathmandu followed by Lalitpur. Investment of more than 1 billion has been committed for 62 hotels of Kathmandu. Foreign Investors have expressed commitment to invest in various tourist locations outside Kathmandu. 20 medium hotels are about to opened in foreign investments at Pokhara. Similarly, hotels in Jumla, Solukhumbu, Chitwan, Banke, Jhapa, Morang, Nuwakot, Kavre are also getting foreign investment. Foreign investors from countries such as USA, Russia, Pakistan and Bangladesh are seen interested in the Nepali hotel sector. According to entrepreneurs, 2,500 direct employment will be created after these hotels come into operation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the latest population census, among the total Nepali population of 26,484,000, population above 15 years comprises 19,800,000. &ldquo;Nearly 4 million population of the age group has left the country for employment which might be the reason of low participation in labour market,&rdquo; says Dr Rudra Suwal, Deputy Director of Central Bureau of Statistics. &ldquo;Migration from Rural to Urban area and immigration of manpower in foreign countries might be the reason of decreasing labour participation,&rdquo; he opines, adding, &ldquo;There is no compulsion to work in urban area as in rural area.&rdquo; There is a lot of population living inactive life, survived on remittance send by their relatives working aboard. In the Nepal Labour Force Survey 2011, the participation rate was 83.4 percent.</p>

<p>The survey has shown that participation of male are more than female in labour market. In the last FY, 78.7 percent male and 75.9 percent females were active in labour market which was 83.8 percent and 79.7 percent in the previous FY. The survey also showed that the rural population is more involve in labour market than the urban population. In the last FY, 82.2 percent rural population and only 66.2 percent of urban population were involve in labour market while it was 87 percent and 65.2 percent in the previous FY.</p>

<p>The survey also showed that the number of unskilled and uneducated manpower is more than the skilled and educated manpower in the labour market. During the last FY, 82.8 percent uneducated and 74.5 percent educated manpower participated in labour market which was 85.6 percent and 81.2 percent respectively in previous FY.</p>

<p>Among the employed population, 69.5 percent are engaged in agriculture, forest and fisheries sectors (it was 68.8 percent in previous FY). After that, wholesale and retail business sector comes second (6.5 percent) and manufacturing comes third (5.9 percent). It was 7 percent and 6.3 percent respectively in previous FY. The total of 82.2 percent of first quintile (the poorest) and 66.8 percent of fifth quintile (the richest) are participating in the labour market. It was 87.5 percent and 70.6 percent respectively in the previous FY.</p>

This motorcycle also contains fully digital meter display which boosts the look of motorcycle. &ldquo;Similarly, it has 140 mm rear tyre that are new to the Honda line-up,&rdquo; informs the company. Hornet 160R has a powerful 163cc engine that gives extra thrust and delivers good low end torque. The single cylinder engine develops 15.66 bhp at 8500 rpm of maximum power and 14.76 NM at 6500 rpm of maximum torque. The engine in the motorcycle is equipped with a counter balance that produces the power in the compression of 10:1 ratio. The mileage of the motorcycle is 60 kmpl and top speed is 110 kmph.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It is available in five different colors. The disc break is connected on both front and back of the motorcycle with the combi breaking mechanism. The suspension at front is telescopic whereas rear has a monoshock suspension.</p>

YS Gulariya, senior vice-chairman of HMSI started the sales of the new Honda motorcycle. According to Chandra Kunwar, Managing Director of Kunwar Brothers and Sons, the motorcycle is priced at Rs 260,000. He informs that the customers can get discount of Rs 4,000 to Rs 1, 00,000 through the SMS service. The company is providing 20 percent discount on servicing and 10 percent discount on spare parts for five years.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">DOED has informed that survey licenses have been issued to small hydro power projects such as 993KW Gopi Khola Project of Gopi Vinayak Hydro Power Project in border area of Namdu and Veerkot VDC, 140KW Yalung Khola Project of Hemraj Gubhaju in Mali, 635KW Jhakre Khola Project of Himal Power Limited, 1 MW Gumu Khola Project of Saskan Pvt Ltd and 1 MW Ghyang Khola Project of Neel Ganga Hydro Power. Meanwhile, 1 MW Upper Khimti Khola of Global Hydro Power Associated, 800 KW Andheri Khola Project of Deepak Kumar Budhathoki, 600KW Open River Turbine of Tamakoshi in Bhedup Region of Glow Tek Solution and 1 MW Marbu Ghatte Khola Project of Poverty Alleviation Electricity Generating Company have also obtained the survey licenses.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Similarly, medium hydle projects obtaining survey license are 9 MW Lower Khani Khola Project of Engine Consultancy in Marbu VDC, 7 MW Suri Khola Project of Makar Jitumaya Hydropower in Chankhu and Suri VDC, 6.4 MW Lower Charnawati Khola Project of Nepal Hydro Developer and 4.35MW Pegu Khola Project of Sabitri Shrestha in Bigu VDC. Likewise, survey liscenses for 4.74MW Sanghu Khola Project of Sanjay Shrestha in Aalampu and Bigu VDC and in big hydro power projects, 62 MW Jum Khola Project of Sanima Hydropower in Lama Bagar VDC in Chinese Border Area have also been issued.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Although Rs 40 billion invested in the further public offering (FPO) of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has returned to banking system, Rs 30 billion of that amount was earlier used in tax payment in mid-April, thus there is no excess liquidity in the market,&rdquo; says Bhuwan Dhahal, CEO of Sanima Bank. He signaled that banks&rsquo; lending interest rate might also increase with the growth in loan investments and decline in excess liquidity.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Interest rate in bank loans in some &lsquo;segments&rsquo; is rising,&rdquo; he says.&nbsp; He informs that banks are charging modestly high interest rates than earlier to creditors who are on &lsquo;row over&rsquo;. According to the bankers, there is a possibility of increase in interest rates in the April-May period. Nevertheless, bankers estimate of higher liquidity by mid-May due to the increase of the government&rsquo;s capital expenditure.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>The home stay program is expected to lengthen the stay of visitors coming to study and investigate the cultural heritages, different landscapes of the village and Tibetan culture as well as tourists coming to visit Lomathanka. &ldquo;16 domestic tourists from Kathmandu have reached to stay in a home stay homes started by the seniors of village Aash Bahadur Thakali, Mamita Thakali, Man Devi Thakali and Badi Thakali,&rdquo; informs Niraj Thakali, a local of Thini.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;As per the history, the culture of Thakali had started from this village. Being a destination near to district headquarter, it is easy to bring tourists for the home stay,&rdquo; he informs. According to him, other houses in the village will also start home stay services very soon. 20 houses in the village of 100 houses have started the preparation of the service.</p>

<p>Thini village invites tourists regularly being the main entry point to the tourists going Dhumba Lake, Hyarojo View Point and Tilicho lake. Moreover, due to its high altitude visitors can get the direct observation of mountains like Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Similarly, about 80 percent land of the district can be observed from view point.</p>

<p>Currently, 300 small and large hotels are running in Mustang from Tele to Lomathanka.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Different programmes will be organised for the development of home stay service,&rdquo; informs Bel Bahadur Pun, Tourism Assistant of ACAP.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Nevertheless, the overall FDI entering Nepali hotel sector has fallen by 70 percent. FDI worth of Rs 5.22 billion were proposed for hotel sector in the year 2071 which was limited to Rs 1.57 billion in 2072. &ldquo;Investment money has decreased in compare to number of hotels,&rdquo; says Rudra Bahadur Malla, spokesperson and Director of Industry Department. According to him, 123 hotels and resorts were registered for operation in 2071 which has decreased to 102 in the year 2072.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hotel entrepreneurs view the last year&rsquo;s devastating earthquake and border blockade as the main cause of decrease in FDI. &ldquo;Foreign Investors are in the state of &lsquo;wait and see&rsquo;, investment will flow to Nepal once the environment becomes favorable,&rdquo; says General Secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal, Binayak Shah.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Investor still needs to go through various hassles due to non implementation of FDI laws,&rdquo; he adds. &ldquo;The proposed investments in hotel sector are just commitments. Billions of investment will enter Nepal if we achieve political stability.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The highest number of hotels and resorts registered for operation under foreign investment in 2071 and 2072 are located in Kathmandu followed by Lalitpur. Investment of more than 1 billion has been committed for 62 hotels of Kathmandu. Foreign Investors have expressed commitment to invest in various tourist locations outside Kathmandu. 20 medium hotels are about to opened in foreign investments at Pokhara. Similarly, hotels in Jumla, Solukhumbu, Chitwan, Banke, Jhapa, Morang, Nuwakot, Kavre are also getting foreign investment. Foreign investors from countries such as USA, Russia, Pakistan and Bangladesh are seen interested in the Nepali hotel sector. According to entrepreneurs, 2,500 direct employment will be created after these hotels come into operation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the latest population census, among the total Nepali population of 26,484,000, population above 15 years comprises 19,800,000. &ldquo;Nearly 4 million population of the age group has left the country for employment which might be the reason of low participation in labour market,&rdquo; says Dr Rudra Suwal, Deputy Director of Central Bureau of Statistics. &ldquo;Migration from Rural to Urban area and immigration of manpower in foreign countries might be the reason of decreasing labour participation,&rdquo; he opines, adding, &ldquo;There is no compulsion to work in urban area as in rural area.&rdquo; There is a lot of population living inactive life, survived on remittance send by their relatives working aboard. In the Nepal Labour Force Survey 2011, the participation rate was 83.4 percent.</p>

<p>The survey has shown that participation of male are more than female in labour market. In the last FY, 78.7 percent male and 75.9 percent females were active in labour market which was 83.8 percent and 79.7 percent in the previous FY. The survey also showed that the rural population is more involve in labour market than the urban population. In the last FY, 82.2 percent rural population and only 66.2 percent of urban population were involve in labour market while it was 87 percent and 65.2 percent in the previous FY.</p>

<p>The survey also showed that the number of unskilled and uneducated manpower is more than the skilled and educated manpower in the labour market. During the last FY, 82.8 percent uneducated and 74.5 percent educated manpower participated in labour market which was 85.6 percent and 81.2 percent respectively in previous FY.</p>

<p>Among the employed population, 69.5 percent are engaged in agriculture, forest and fisheries sectors (it was 68.8 percent in previous FY). After that, wholesale and retail business sector comes second (6.5 percent) and manufacturing comes third (5.9 percent). It was 7 percent and 6.3 percent respectively in previous FY. The total of 82.2 percent of first quintile (the poorest) and 66.8 percent of fifth quintile (the richest) are participating in the labour market. It was 87.5 percent and 70.6 percent respectively in the previous FY.</p>

The engine in the motorcycle is equipped with a counter balance that produces the power in the compression of 10:1 ratio. Meanwhile, 1 MW Upper Khimti Khola of Global Hydro Power Associated, 800 KW Andheri Khola Project of Deepak Kumar Budhathoki, 600KW Open River Turbine of Tamakoshi in Bhedup Region of Glow Tek Solution and 1 MW Marbu Ghatte Khola Project of Poverty Alleviation Electricity Generating Company have also obtained the survey licenses.</p>

He signaled that banks&rsquo; lending interest rate might also increase with the growth in loan investments and decline in excess liquidity.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Interest rate in bank loans in some &lsquo;segments&rsquo; is rising,&rdquo; he says.&nbsp; He informs that banks are charging modestly high interest rates than earlier to creditors who are on &lsquo;row over&rsquo;. According to the bankers, there is a possibility of increase in interest rates in the April-May period. Nevertheless, bankers estimate of higher liquidity by mid-May due to the increase of the government&rsquo;s capital expenditure.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Thini village invites tourists regularly being the main entry point to the tourists going Dhumba Lake, Hyarojo View Point and Tilicho lake. Moreover, due to its high altitude visitors can get the direct observation of mountains like Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Similarly, about 80 percent land of the district can be observed from view point.</p>

<p>Currently, 300 small and large hotels are running in Mustang from Tele to Lomathanka.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hotel entrepreneurs view the last year&rsquo;s devastating earthquake and border blockade as the main cause of decrease in FDI. &ldquo;Foreign Investors are in the state of &lsquo;wait and see&rsquo;, investment will flow to Nepal once the environment becomes favorable,&rdquo; says General Secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal, Binayak Shah.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&ldquo;Investor still needs to go through various hassles due to non implementation of FDI laws,&rdquo; he adds. &ldquo;The proposed investments in hotel sector are just commitments. Billions of investment will enter Nepal if we achieve political stability.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The highest number of hotels and resorts registered for operation under foreign investment in 2071 and 2072 are located in Kathmandu followed by Lalitpur. Investment of more than 1 billion has been committed for 62 hotels of Kathmandu. Foreign Investors have expressed commitment to invest in various tourist locations outside Kathmandu. 20 medium hotels are about to opened in foreign investments at Pokhara. Similarly, hotels in Jumla, Solukhumbu, Chitwan, Banke, Jhapa, Morang, Nuwakot, Kavre are also getting foreign investment. Foreign investors from countries such as USA, Russia, Pakistan and Bangladesh are seen interested in the Nepali hotel sector. <p>According to the latest population census, among the total Nepali population of 26,484,000, population above 15 years comprises 19,800,000. &ldquo;Nearly 4 million population of the age group has left the country for employment which might be the reason of low participation in labour market,&rdquo; says Dr Rudra Suwal, Deputy Director of Central Bureau of Statistics. &ldquo;Migration from Rural to Urban area and immigration of manpower in foreign countries might be the reason of decreasing labour participation,&rdquo; he opines, adding, &ldquo;There is no compulsion to work in urban area as in rural area.&rdquo; There is a lot of population living inactive life, survived on remittance send by their relatives working aboard. In the Nepal Labour Force Survey 2011, the participation rate was 83.4 percent.</p>

<p>The survey has shown that participation of male are more than female in labour market. In the last FY, 78.7 percent male and 75.9 percent females were active in labour market which was 83.8 percent and 79.7 percent in the previous FY. The survey also showed that the rural population is more involve in labour market than the urban population. In the last FY, 82.2 percent rural population and only 66.2 percent of urban population were involve in labour market while it was 87 percent and 65.2 percent in the previous FY.</p>

<p>The survey also showed that the number of unskilled and uneducated manpower is more than the skilled and educated manpower in the labour market. During the last FY, 82.8 percent uneducated and 74.5 percent educated manpower participated in labour market which was 85.6 percent and 81.2 percent respectively in previous FY.</p>

<p>Among the employed population, 69.5 percent are engaged in agriculture, forest and fisheries sectors (it was 68.8 percent in previous FY). After that, wholesale and retail business sector comes second (6.5 percent) and manufacturing comes third (5.9 percent). It was 7 percent and 6.3 percent respectively in previous FY. <p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of Norvic, Basant K. Chaudhary shed light on the hospital&#39;s vivid achievements and development plans for immediate future. He further added that the hospital will add the latest version of 128 slice CT scan and threeTesla silent MRIs (first of its kind in Nepal and 2<sup>nd</sup> in South Asia) within a few months. Chaudhary also reiterated his commitment to further upgrade its services with cutting edge technology, addition of new modular operating suites, state-of-art-IVF Centre, and new building based on the Government&#39;s new building codes and guidelines. The new building will have added beds to convert the hospital into 200 beded one.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Established in 1993 as a 30 bedded small nursing home, it has now transformed itself as one of the multispecialty hospital of international repute.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Norvic&#39;s free health services to the needy during the devastating earthquake last year was lauded during the function. All the distinguished medical and paramedical staffs who worked day and night for the welfare of the earthquake affected patients last year were also felicitated during the function.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">On the occasion, &quot;Norvic Drug Formulary&quot; book written by Norvic&#39;s pharmacologist, Dr Ajay Chandra was also unveiled jointly by the Chief Guest and the Chairman of the hospital, Basant Chaudhary and Prof Dr Kumud Kafle. &ldquo;The drug formulary is published in different levels, such as national level and the institutional level,&rdquo; said Prof Dr Kafle, Head of Dept of Nepalese Army Hospital.</p>
