<p>The land taken on lease by Nepal was unused since decades.</p>

<p>Ek Narayan Aryal, Nepal&rsquo;s consulate general to Kolkata, informed New Business Age that the warehouse made in 4,872 square meters of land has been constructed under the initiation of the consulate.</p>

<p>He told New Business Age that the warehouse will come into operation as soon as they fix the charge for using the warehouse. Goods imported from third countries will be stored at the warehouse.&nbsp; It will help Nepali businessmen avoid fines caused due to the delay in transporting goods from the port.</p>

<p>The land has been taken on lease by the Government of Nepal since 1973, for which it has been paying Rs 55,700 per month as a rent to India.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

			'content' => '<p>November 22: The government is unsatisfied with its capital expenditure in the current fiscal year. This was revealed during the first quarterly review of the policy and programmes of the current FY chaired by Prime Minister KP Oli on Wednesday, November 22.</p>

<p>According to Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the review meeting underscored the need to increase capital expenditure, which was around 18 percent in the review period.</p>

<p>On the occasion, the prime minister directed the ministers and secretaries to work with the spirit of accomplishing the targets set by the budget and according to the policy and programmes of the government.</p>

<p>&ldquo;In the next quarterly review, the government needs to meet the targets,&rdquo; RSS quoted the PM as saying.</p>

<p>Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada shared that the progress of the ministries of physical infrastructures, urban development, energy, hydro power and irrigation, agriculture and livestock and the National Reconstruction Authority was reviewed at the meeting, according to RSS.</p>

<p>In addition to the progress review, the problems in the implementation of the policy and programmes were also discussed.</p>

<p>The review will continue on Thursday and Saturday as well.</p>

<p>Ek Narayan Aryal, Nepal&rsquo;s consulate general to Kolkata, informed New Business Age that the warehouse made in 4,872 square meters of land has been constructed under the initiation of the consulate.</p>

<p>He told New Business Age that the warehouse will come into operation as soon as they fix the charge for using the warehouse. Goods imported from third countries will be stored at the warehouse.&nbsp; It will help Nepali businessmen avoid fines caused due to the delay in transporting goods from the port.</p>

<p>The land has been taken on lease by the Government of Nepal since 1973, for which it has been paying Rs 55,700 per month as a rent to India.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

According to a statement issued by the hospital, the programme was a part of the High Performance Camp, wherein the cricket icon is training 60 young cricketers from Nepal.</p>

<p>Rhodes is the head coach of the camp, while former Afghanistan and West Indies fielding coach Ryan Maron and local coaches will be supporting him during the 10-day camp which is being held from November 14-23.</p>

<p>Nepal Mediciti, the official medical partner for the high performance camp, organized by Sports.Ed had also conducted a Facebook Live session with the sporting giant where pertinent questions about his views on sports medicine and overall wellness was shared on social media. Nepal Mediciti said it has been providing emergency medical services on the ground during the camp at Tribhuvan University cricket ground.</p>

<p>The multispecialty hospital has been actively participating in major sporting leagues to promote the standard of sports medicine in the country.</p>

<p>According to Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the review meeting underscored the need to increase capital expenditure, which was around 18 percent in the review period.</p>

<p>On the occasion, the prime minister directed the ministers and secretaries to work with the spirit of accomplishing the targets set by the budget and according to the policy and programmes of the government.</p>

<p>&ldquo;In the next quarterly review, the government needs to meet the targets,&rdquo; RSS quoted the PM as saying.</p>

<p>Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada shared that the progress of the ministries of physical infrastructures, urban development, energy, hydro power and irrigation, agriculture and livestock and the National Reconstruction Authority was reviewed at the meeting, according to RSS.</p>

<p>In addition to the progress review, the problems in the implementation of the policy and programmes were also discussed.</p>

<p>The review will continue on Thursday and Saturday as well.</p>

<p>He told New Business Age that the warehouse will come into operation as soon as they fix the charge for using the warehouse. Goods imported from third countries will be stored at the warehouse.&nbsp; It will help Nepali businessmen avoid fines caused due to the delay in transporting goods from the port.</p>

<p>The land has been taken on lease by the Government of Nepal since 1973, for which it has been paying Rs 55,700 per month as a rent to India.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada shared that the progress of the ministries of physical infrastructures, urban development, energy, hydro power and irrigation, agriculture and livestock and the National Reconstruction Authority was reviewed at the meeting, according to RSS.</p>

<p>In addition to the progress review, the problems in the implementation of the policy and programmes were also discussed.</p>

<p>The review will continue on Thursday and Saturday as well.</p>

<p>Ek Narayan Aryal, Nepal&rsquo;s consulate general to Kolkata, informed New Business Age that the warehouse made in 4,872 square meters of land has been constructed under the initiation of the consulate.</p>

<p>He told New Business Age that the warehouse will come into operation as soon as they fix the charge for using the warehouse. Goods imported from third countries will be stored at the warehouse.&nbsp; It will help Nepali businessmen avoid fines caused due to the delay in transporting goods from the port.</p>

<p>The land has been taken on lease by the Government of Nepal since 1973, for which it has been paying Rs 55,700 per month as a rent to India.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

The three-day exhibition organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was held at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur from November 22-24.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to a press statement issued by CII, visitors at the ConMac 2018 expressed that this exhibition has set a new benchmark for the standard of exhibition in Nepal in aspect of grandeur, professionalism, range of products and being focused on construction equipment.</p>

<p>The chairman of CII ConMac 2018 Arvind K Garg, stated that the three-day event was very productive and he expressed commitment to continue this cooperation from Indian businesses for the development of Nepal.</p>

<p>The participating companies, according to the organiser, expressed that exhibition like CII ConMac 2018 have been beneficial in strengthening the infrastructural sector of Nepal.</p>

<p>ConMac 2018, organized by CII in association with the Embassy of India in Nepal, saw participation of more than 150 exhibitors displaying an array of products and features across a 250,000 square feet area.</p>

<p>At the ConMac 2018, JCB showcased world-class products, out of which four are new introductions. JCB said it is the first manufacturer in the world to offer Automated Manual Transmission known as &ldquo;Easy Shift&rdquo; on a Backhoe Loader. It allows gear shifting to take place automatically through a rotating knob below the steering wheel thus, replacing the gear lever and facilitates ease of operation, a rested operator and also ensures better productivity.</p>

<p>Finance Minister Khatiwada made such comments during an interaction organised by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries on Wednesday (November 21) to mark the Tax Collection Week in the capital.</p>

<p>&ldquo;VAT is collected from the consumers. But it is the businessmen who have been demanding that VAT should be refunded,&rdquo; said the minister.</p>

<p>He further stressed the need to widen the base of tax. The minister said that the government has not yet been able to bring the agriculture sector under the ambit of tax. On the other hand, those who have been paying taxes since years have been bearing the brunt of additional taxes. In this context, the government is preparing to upgrade the country&rsquo;s tax collection system to international standard, he said.</p>

<p>According to Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the review meeting underscored the need to increase capital expenditure, which was around 18 percent in the review period.</p>

<p>On the occasion, the prime minister directed the ministers and secretaries to work with the spirit of accomplishing the targets set by the budget and according to the policy and programmes of the government.</p>

<p>&ldquo;In the next quarterly review, the government needs to meet the targets,&rdquo; RSS quoted the PM as saying.</p>

<p>Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada shared that the progress of the ministries of physical infrastructures, urban development, energy, hydro power and irrigation, agriculture and livestock and the National Reconstruction Authority was reviewed at the meeting, according to RSS.</p>

<p>In addition to the progress review, the problems in the implementation of the policy and programmes were also discussed.</p>

<p>The review will continue on Thursday and Saturday as well.</p>
