<p>As the grant fuel is said to reach the bordering Kerung till Saturday evening, as part of China&rsquo;s promise to provide 1.3 million litres of petrol as grant, the team including NOC spokesperson Dipak Baral together with 12 tankers set out towards Kerung to receive the petrol, said Hari Prasad Bashyal, Nepal&rsquo;s consular general in Lhasa.</p>

<p>Baral said that 12 tankers with capacity of 12,000 litres each have been sent to Kerung to receive the fuel provided by China in first lot.</p>

<p>He said that the fuel tankers would be filled with petrol the same day on Saturday.</p>

<p>Shiva Prasad Aryal, general secretary of the Federation of the Nepal Petroleum Transport Entrepreneurs (FNPTE), said that the oil tankers will ferry the total 102,000 litres petrol in a lot. Aryal is also part of the team.</p>

<p>The team also includes Khageshwor Bohara, Chairman of the FNPTE and Lilendra Pradhan, chairman of Nepal Petroleum Dealers&rsquo; Association. RSS</p>

<p>Similarly, as many as 50 quake-damaged houses which obstructed the public space or posed threat to adjoining houses were immediately dismantled by Nepal Army, Nepal Police and KMC.</p>

<p>Currently, KMC has been dismantling those houses receiving complete damages within the inner circle of the city, shared Dhanpati.</p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

<p>The electronic rickshaw has come into operation here since last mid-July 2015 with the Bharatpur sub-metropolitan city easing its registration.<br />
Currently total 304 e-rickshaw are in operation within Bharatpur sub-metropolis, informed Chitwan Rickshaw Entrepreneurs Committee Chairperson Amrit Kumar Shrestha, Likewise, 22 e-rickahsw are providing service in Ratnanagar town area.<br />
Each e-rickshaw can be purchased at the price range of Rs 280,000 to Rs 320,000. The rickshaw drivers are making daily income of Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 from the operation of four-seat e-rickshaw in Chitwan.<br />

<p>The hatchery entrepreneurs were found compelled to bury their chicken as the farmers stopped buying grown up chicken from the hatchery these days.</p>

<p>On the other hand, hatchery entrepreneurs were facing difficulty reaching the eggs and chickens to the traders and consumers due to lack of transport as a result of the fuel shortage, said Hatchery Industry Association Chitwan chair Rishi Poudel.</p>

<p>He shared that they were compelled to bury about 2.2 million chicken on Sunday itself across the country.</p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

<p>It has been said that a child earns anything between Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 from the smuggling a day.</p>

<p>A local trader of Mahinathapur in India said that children smuggle essentials from Indian cities and later they collect them after reaching the Nepali territory before being supplied to different cities overnight.</p>

<p>A school teacher at Aurahi in Dhanusa said that schools in the Tarai remain closed due to the protest launched by the United Democratic Madhesi Front and children are being used in such illegal trade.</p>

<p>Similarly, as many as 50 quake-damaged houses which obstructed the public space or posed threat to adjoining houses were immediately dismantled by Nepal Army, Nepal Police and KMC.</p>

<p>Currently, KMC has been dismantling those houses receiving complete damages within the inner circle of the city, shared Dhanpati.</p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>Baral said that 12 tankers with capacity of 12,000 litres each have been sent to Kerung to receive the fuel provided by China in first lot.</p>

<p>He said that the fuel tankers would be filled with petrol the same day on Saturday.</p>

<p>Shiva Prasad Aryal, general secretary of the Federation of the Nepal Petroleum Transport Entrepreneurs (FNPTE), said that the oil tankers will ferry the total 102,000 litres petrol in a lot. Aryal is also part of the team.</p>

<p>These houses are mostly from the most affected zones as Balaju, Chaumati, Sitapaila and along the Bishumati riverside, according to Dhanpati Sapkota, Chief of Implementation Division at the KMC.</p>

<p>Similarly, as many as 50 quake-damaged houses which obstructed the public space or posed threat to adjoining houses were immediately dismantled by Nepal Army, Nepal Police and KMC.</p>

<p>Currently, KMC has been dismantling those houses receiving complete damages within the inner circle of the city, shared Dhanpati.</p>

<p>According to him, the delay in dismantling such houses is attributed to the festival time and reluctance of the house-owners who often cite the dual ownership of the house of house-owners living abroad.</p>

<p>To dismantle such houses, first the house-owners need to file an application to the KMC. Thereafter a team of KMC goes to the concerned houses for assessment.<br />
KMC is now gearing up to dismantle the quake-ravaged houses in Kalimati, Kalanki and Kuleshower among others places.</p>

<p>Many a times the house owners themselves are found dismantling the quake-damaged houses after KMC grants its permission while some seek KMC&#39;s help for the same and clearing the debris after dismantling, added Sapkota.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, KMC has received 200 applications by the neighbors to dismantle the quake-damaged houses in their neighborhood.</p>

<p>KMC earlier used to receive some 20 requests seeking KMC&#39;s support in dismantling the quake-damaged houses. These days it receives four to five in a week, it was shared. RSS</p>

<p>He shared that they were compelled to bury about 2.2 million chicken on Sunday itself across the country.</p>

<p>Ghale termed the honour as the first and most important in his life and expressed desire on behalf the NRNA to work with the Federation.</p>

<p>The Federation also felicitated Armed Police Force (APF) constable Krishna Bahadur Basnet for his bravery and instant reaction on saving those who had fallen victim to the earthquake. The Federation also honoured nurses Jasa Maya Jirel and Sharada Shrestha and volunteer and rescuer Babrim Kumar KC with cash prize of Rs 25,000 each.</p>

<p>On the occasion, winners of the Open World Wide Poem Competition held by the Federation were also conferred awards and cash prizes. Prof Dr Govinda Raj Bhattarai conferred award to Sandesh Subba, who came first in the competition. Likewise, Punam Thakur was conferred a cash prize of Rs 5,000 for coming first in the Maithali language poem competition and Rs 5,000 to judge Thakur Belbase. RSS</p>

In the last match played under the qualifying round, Nepal had defeated Ireland by eight wickets. Ireland set a target of 185 runs for Nepal after choosing to bat first. Nepal defeated Papua New Guinea by nine wickets in the first match while posting a 171 runs win over Uganda in the second match in the selection round.
