Tata Motors’ Starbus Ultra Buses

Tata Motors have launched Starbus Ultra range of buses in the market. The buses are available in various combinations ranging from six tons to 9.6 tons, with wheel base ranging from 3700 mm to 5200 mm. the range includes Starbus Ultra, Starbus Ultra School, Starbus Ultra Deluxe and Starbus Ultra Luxury AC buses. The contemporary style, design and features will provide buyers comfort and pride of ownership says a press release from the company. The new range of buses are suitable for office-goers, school children, tourists and all kinds of passengers, further says the release. Starbus Ultra buses are offered with a warranty of 300,000 kms or three years on chassis and aggregates, whichever is earlier. It also includes an 18 month/100,000 km warranty on bus body, whichever is earlier.

 

Donear Fabrics Now in Nepal

Fashion Fabric brand Donear has introduced its range of suitings, trouser and shirting fabrics in the Nepali Market. Also, Donear has appointed Captain of Nepali cricket team Paras Khadka as its brand ambassador for Nepal. Executive Director of Donear Industries Limited Ajay Agrawal and Paras Khadka signed the contract during a launch ceremony on June 24, 2014. Donear’s fabrics are exported to over 28 countries across the globe.   

 

LG Introduces Curved OLED TVs

CG Electronics has introduced new series of Curved OLED TV, 4K Ultra HDTV, Smart+ TV and normal LED TVs in the market. The new 55 inch curved OLED TV is claimed to produce life-like colours, and is very slim and light weight. The new range of Ultra HD TVs is offered in 49 and 55 inch sizes. LG has also introduced new series of 3D Smart TVs and Smart TVs in sizes from 32 to 55 inches. These TVs come with features like Time Machine and Triple XD Engine. In addition, LG has also launched normal LED TV series in 20 to 24 inch sizes. According to the company, these TVs are specially designed for Nepal, and have features like soccer mode, built-in games, Bollywood mode and protection features like lightening protection, summer heat protection, humidity protection and the TVs work without stabilizer. 

 

Rasna Instant Drink in New Flavours 

Rasna instant powder drink has introduced two new flavors lemon and pineapple in the market. The new flavours are available in 400 gm pack. According to the company, Rasna does not contain any added preservatives and provides instant energy. Now, Rasna is offered in mango, orange, lemon and pineapple flavours, and is available in all the departmental stores and groceries.

 

New Hisense LED TV in the Market 

Navin Distributors Pvt Ltd, the exclusive distributor of Hisense brand for Nepal has launched Hisense LED TV K370 in the market. The TV is new addition to Hisense’s LED TV range. Dish Home has come up with a recharge bonus scheme. Dish Home’s customers can get bonus amount on every recharge starting Rs 1000 onwards. The customers are offered a bonus of Rs 100 to Rs 1400 on recharge of Rs 1000 to Rs 7000. 

 

2014 Ford Fiesta Unveiled

Ford has introduced 2014 Ford Fiesta in the market. According to the company, the new Fiesta comes with a stunning new look, plush interiors and several segment-first features. The 2014 Ford Fiesta is offered in three trims – Ambiente, Trend and Titanium. All the variants are powered by 1.5 litre Duratorq diesel engine which is claimed to give better performance, drivability and a mileage of 25.01 km/l. Notable features of new fiesta include rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps and push-button start with smart keyless entry, modern in-car entertainment system, Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) with Pull-Drift Compensation and standard front driver-side airbag and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) on all variants. 2014 Fiesta’s entry-level trim Ambiente Diesel is available at Rs 3,299,000, followed by Trend Diesel at Rs 3,850,000 and the top variant Titanium Diesel is priced at Rs 4,150,000. Ford is offering a warranty of one year or 100,000 km, whichever is earlier.  

 

Big Mart Celebrated 5th Anniversary

Big Mart supermarket has completed five years of its operation. To mark its fifth anniversary, the supermarket started various promotional campaigns and offered discounts to its customers. The store also issued privilege cards to customers who purchase items worth more than Rs 500 till the end of July. Big Mart is planning to add three outlets in the Kathmandu valley this year. It operates seven stores at Kamal Pokhari, Sanepa, Shantinagar, Lagankhel, Lazimpat, Pepsicola and Sukedhara.

Ncell lowers Call Tariff to 28 EU Countries 

Ncell has lowered call tariffs to 28 European Union nations. Now, Ncell customers can call European countries including the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, France and Italy among others at Rs 4.99 per minute exclusive of taxes. The new tariff has come into effect from 8th July. Also, the customers do not need to not dial any additional number to make the calls. The new rate is applicable for all Ncell prepaid and post paid Ncell customers throughout Nepal. “This new rate has introduced uniform tariff facility for our customers for calling to the EU countries,” said Corporate Communication Director of Ncell Sanju Koirala. 

 

Toyota’s New Hatch Etios Liva to Arrive Soon

United Traders Syndicate Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal is all set to launch new Toyota Etios Liva. According to the company, Etios Liva is a flagship hatchback designed to reflect the image of Toyota with its quality, durability and reliability.  Liva is powered by a 1197cc 16 valve petrol engine generating a maximum power of 78.9 bhp at 5600 rpm and a peak torque of 104 Nm at 3100 rpm.
