NMB’s Branch in Janakpur
NMB Bank has opened its branch in Bhanu Chowk of Janakpur. The branch was inaugurated by CEO of the Bank Upendra Poudyal. With this, the total number of branches of the Bank has now reached 27. According to a press statement from the Bank, the branch offers all the banking services including NMB Bank Sulav Remit, and there is also an ATM in the branch premises.
NIBL Relocates Hetauda Branch
Nepal Investment Bank Limited has relocated its Hetauda branch from Bank Road to TCN road. The branch is relocated considering the future road expansion, and to provide better services, says a release from the Bank.
Civil Bank Limited’s Shares Listed on Nepse
Civil Bank Limited’s shares worth Rs 2.69 billion have been listed on Nepal Stock Exchange Limited following the merger with Axis Development Bank and Civil Merchant Bittiya Sanstha Limited. Nepal Stock Exchange has commenced trading of the shares from 5th May, 2014. Prior to this, trading of the Bank’s shares were on hold since 8th October, 2013 owing to merger procedures.
Sanima’s CSR Activity at Dhangadhi
Sanima Bank’s Dhangadhi branch distributed clothes to students with speaking and hearing disability of Shaileshwari Higher Secondary School, Shreepur on 6th May, 2014. The programme was conducted on the occasion of 10th year of operation of the Bank. The programme saw the participation of Bank staffs, customers and locals.
Rana Reappointed as Kumari’s Chairman
A meeting of Kumari Bank’s Board of Directors held on 6th May 2014 has re- appointed Noor Pratap JB Rana in the position of the Chairman of the Bank. Rana, the Bank's main founder had been the Chairman of the Bank from its inception.
Himalayan Bank’s 42nd Branch at Samakhusi
Himalayan Bank Limited has opened its 42nd branch at Samakhusi. The branch was inaugurated by Chairman of the Bank Manoj Bahadur Shrestha amidst a function. Local businessmen, Board Members and senior executives of the Bank were present at the function. Shrestha said in the function that the Samakhusi branch will focus its activities to boost the economic condition of local people through banking service related activities.
Mega Bank’s Shareholder Savings Account
Mega Bank Nepal Limited has launched a savings deposit scheme named ‘Mega Shareholder Savings Account’. According to a statement from the Bank, the scheme is launched to facilitate the banking requirements of its 145,000 public shareholders. Under this deposit scheme, the annual cash dividend amount declared by the Bank will be directly credited into the accounts of the public shareholders. Similarly, this deposit scheme comes with other benefits such as free issuance of checkbook and SCT debit card, free online banking facility, on demand account statement and free ABBS facility.
Nabil’s ATMs at Kalanki and Lazimpat
Nabil Bank Limited has installed two ATMs at Kalanki and Lazimpat. According to a statement from the Bank, these ATMs are installed for convenience of residents of these localities. With this, the number of ATM network of the bank reaches 85, which is the largest ATM network among commercial banks in Nepal. Now, Nabil has 48 ATMs inside Kathmandu Valley and 37 ATMs outside.
Prabhu Bikas Bank’s Branch at Muktinath
Prabhu Bikas Bank has opened its 49th branch at Muktinath of Mustang district. According to a statement from the Bank, the branch will offer all the modern banking services including remittance service to its customers. With this branch, the Bank now has 44 branch offices and five extension counters across Nepal.
Laxmi Bank's Branch in Damauli Bazaar
Laxmi Bank has opened its new branch at Damauli Bazaar of Tanahu. On the occasion of the launch, the Bank is providing loans from 9.5 per cent per annum onwards and a special 100 days’ fixed deposit is available at 6.5 per cent per annum. Laxmi Bank now has 35 branches, 2 extension counters and 49 ATMs across the country.
