Honda Launches CB Trigger 150 
Syakar Trading Company Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor for Honda motorcycles and scooters in Nepal has launched the new CB Trigger in the market. CB trigger, a 150cc motorcycle has features like contoured tank with 3D Honda emblem, floating side cowls and arrow shaped side panel. Other visual elements include muscle lines in the side panel and all-black sporty muffler. CB Trigger comes with the option of Combi Brake System, which the company claims to be first in its segment. The braking system is said to reduce braking distance by 32 percent compared to conventional braking. The motorcycle is launched with the introductory price of Rs 219,900.  
 
Tata Unveils Xenon CC 4x4 Pick-up 
Tata Motors has launched Tata Xenon CC 4x4 pick-up (BS-III) in the market. According to the company, Xenon has best-in-class looks, operating economics and fuel efficiency and is suitable for wide range of commercial applications. The vehicle is powered by a 2.2 litre VTT DiCOR (Variable Turbine Technology, Direct Injection Common Rail) engine that is controlled by a 32-bit electronic control unit. The engine delivers peak power of 140 Hp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 320 Nm at 1700 – 2700 rpm. The pick-up is available in two variants, Xenon CC 4x4 Base model priced at Rs 2,920,000 and Xenon CC 4x4 Fully-loaded priced at Rs 3,250,000. Tata Xenon comes with a warranty a 300,000 kms or three years, whichever is earlier.
 
Yamaha’s ‘Winning Express’
MAW Enterprises, the sole authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters in Nepal introduced a consumer scheme titled ‘Yamaha Winning Express’ on the occasion of New Year 2071. Under the scheme, customers purchasing any Yamaha motorcycle and scooter were entitled to a cash prize of Rs 7,100. The bumper prize of the scheme offers free trip to Brazil for four winners during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.  
 
Voltas Air Conditioners in Market
Techno Trade Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor for Voltas air conditioners has introduced ‘5 Star Energy Rated ACs’ in Nepal. Voltas range of all-weather split ACs are claimed to be environment friendly and has features like instant cooling compressor, active dehumidifier, super dust guard, and intelligent heating among others. According to the company, these AC’s are relatively compact in size and lighter in weight. The company is also offering specials package for organizations and institutions. 
 
Nimbus Awards Scheme Winners
Nimbus handed over three Bajaj Discover bikes to zone winners of its scheme ‘Shakti Feed ko Offer, Jitnuhos 36 ota Discover’. The winners were handed over the bikes in programmes organized at their respective dealers’ offices. The lucky draw was administered by actress Nisha Adhikari. The scheme gifts three Bajaj Discover motorbikes every month through lucky draw for 12 months. The scheme commenced on 30th November 2013 will continue for a year. 
 
Volkswagen’s New Showroom at Thapathali
Pooja International Nepal, the authorized importer of Volkswagen passenger cars for Nepal inaugurated its new showroom at Thapathali on 4th April. Deputy Head of Mission of German Embassy Henning Hansen and Chairman of Pooja International Trilok Chand Agrawal were present in the inauguration. According to a press statement, the new showroom is opened with the objective of increasing the company’s interaction with customers, and increasing the market share by more than 50 per cent.  
 
Coca-cola launches 1 litre Family Pack
Coca-Cola has launched a new 1 litre family pack PET bottle in the market. The new bottle is launched based on the theme ‘Eat together, Be together’. The 1 litre pack is available in Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite, and will complement the existing packs of 250ml bottle, 300ml PET, 500ml PET, 1.5L PET and 2.25L PET. According to the company, the new packs will have special labels that depict the local flavours of Nepali food. The 1 litre pack is available at Rs 85.   
 
New Suzuki Showroom at Nagpokhari
Suzuki 4-Wheelers has opened its new showroom at Nagpokhari. The new dealership was inaugurated by Managing Director of CG MotoCorp Arun K. Chaudhary. On the opening occasion, the Showroom is offering gift hampers for the test drivers for the first few months. This is the 23rd Suzuki dealership under CG MotoCorp.  
 
Ncell’s ‘Sajilo Bonus Plus’
150Ncell has launched its new starter pack named ‘Sajilo Bonus Plus’. Customers subscribing to it can enjoy a bonus worth Rs 250 every month for 12 months. Customers anywhere in Nepal can buy a ‘Sajilo Bonus Plus’ SIM with Rs 50 main balance at Rs 99 and get 20 MB data, 40 minutes talk time and 60 SMS within Ncell network as a bonus for free. The bonus received is worth Rs 250. Moreover, if the subscriber recharges Rs 100 or more within 30 days, they would again receive the same bonus worth Rs 250 in the coming month. Agni Incorporated Launches Mahindra XUV500 W4 
Agni Incorporated, the authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal has introduced ‘W4’, an entry level model of its XUV 500. “Packed with range of technology, safety and comfort features, W4 is expected to add to the popularity of XUV in the country,” says a press statement from the company. The XUV500 W4 model is powered by 2.2 litre diesel engine delivering maximum power of 140 bhp and peak torque of 330 Nm. Other features of W4 include cheetah inspired styling, projector head lamps with LED lamps, power and tilt steering, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat and dual tone interiors among others. The model will be launched at Rs 4,750,000. 
 
Real’s ‘Score the Real Goal’
Real Juice has launched a new campaign titled ‘Score the Real Goal 2014’ to celebrate FIFA World Cup 2014. The 3-month long campaign features an international football picture with 11 different footballs numbered from 1 to 11 in the advertisement being published in various national dailies. To participate, one has to identify the ‘Real Ball’ number, type it with Real and SMS to 5002. The bumper prize of the campaign is a Kia Picanto, and the winner will be selected from a lucky draw of all the correct entries received throughout the campaign period. Similarly, the monthly bumper prize winner will be chosen through a lucky draw of all the correct entries received in the respective month. Dish Home Starts Sony Six HD
Dish Home has introduced Sony Six HD as a dedicated channel in its channel lineup. Dish Home started broadcasting Sony Six HD to cater to the sports fans during the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2014. Sony Six HD is also the official broadcaster for FIFA world Cup 2014 starting from 12th June 2014. Dish Home is also providing other exclusive channels like HBO HD, Baby first TV and Discovery Kids among others. Dish Home also offers recording facility in its satellite receivers and also has dual audio facility (English and Hindi) for some of its channels.

Hero Introduces New Bike Models
Hero has introduced updated version of its three two-wheeler models. The newly launched models are Splendor iSmart, new Xtreme and Pleasure scooter. Splendor iSmart comes with new i3S technology (Idle Stop and Start System) that automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on when needed. Xtreme’s new features include Electronic Immobilizer, a security device that prevents the engine from running without the correct key. Similarly, new Pleasure comes with Integrated Braking System (IBS) that provides comfort of single brake lever for both front and rear wheels.
