Ncell Launches Unlimited Internet Pack
Ncell has launched a new product named ‘Unlimited Internet pack’. According to the telecom service provider, the product enables Ncell customers to remain connected to internet for 30 days even if they use up the included data volume earlier. Unlimited Internet has come into effect from 5th February, under which Ncell customers can activate unlimited pack with 1 GB included volume at Rs 699 (exclusive of taxes), among others, and enjoy internet for a period of 30 days without worrying over early utilization of included volume. Customers availing this product will be able to access Internet at 3G speed within the included volume limit and after exceeding the included volume limit, can browse for free at 32kbps.

Godrej’s New Refrigerators and Washing Machines
Eol Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor for Godrej appliances in Nepal has launched Godrej Edge Pro refrigerator models and Godrej Eon Glitz washing machine in the market. According to the company, the refrigerators have features like Stay Cool technology, jumbo vegetable tray, large freezer and shelf space, and are CFC, HFC, and HCFC free. With this, the customers of Worldlink can make the online payment of the services through eSewa. eSewa is a digital payment portal for online transaction for payment to various merchants and transfer funds to various banks among other services. Pooja International Launches Kobelco Construction Equipment
Pooja International Nepal Pvt Ltd under Vishal Group Automotive Division has acquired the sole importer and dealership of Kobelco Construction Equipment India Pvt Limited (KCEI) for Nepal. KCEI, a subsidiary of Kobelco Construction Machinery, Japan has manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh, India. Pooja International also launched Kobelco excavator on 13th February. Civil Bank has started its Branchless Banking service from Tharpu VDC of Panchthar district. The service was jointly inaugurated by the CEO of the Bank Kishore Maharjan and DSP Deep Shamsher Rana. Through this new service, customers will be able to avail facilities like secure fund withdrawal, fund deposit, fund transfer from one account to another, mobile phone recharge, ATM cards, remittance facility, MobilemaiNagad facility, SMS alert, checking of account balance and printing of statements among others. The Bank also informed that its employees have been assigned to the area for arranging micro credit in a simplified manner to interested customers for running Small and Medium Enterprises as well as Agro-businesses.
Global IME’s Branchless Banking in Khudunabari
Global IME Bank has started branchless banking at Khudunabari, Jhapa. According to a statement from the bank, the service was started by handing over certificates to market representatives. On the same occasion, the Bank organized a programme to enhance financial literacy among the locals.
