Suzuki Organized Exchange Camp
VG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, the subsidiary company of Vishal Group and the authorized distributor of Suzuki Motorcycle India organized an exchange offer named ‘VG Suzuki Exchange Camp’ from 27 – 30 October. The offer was organized through the company’s dealer network all around Kathmandu at Teku, Kumaripati, Kalanki, Chuchhepati and Basundhara. In the event, the company offered new Suzuki motorbikes and scooters with old motorcycles of any brand. Suzuki GS150R, Slingshot+ and Hayate, Access 125 and Swish 125 were available for exchange.
Nissan Sylphy in Nepal
Dugar Brothers and Sons, the authorized distributor of Nissan vehicles for Nepal has launched Nissan Sylphy, a new sedan in the market. Sylphy is powered by a 1.6 litre petrol engine, ha a ground clearance of 165 mm, and comes with 16 inch wheels. The engine delivers a maximum power of 116 KW at 5,600 rpm, and generates a peak torque of 154 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Safety features of the sedan include air bags, ABS, EBD, BA and reinforced doors among others. The sedan is priced at Rs 5,950,000.
New RAV4 and Hilux
Toyota has launched the 4th Generation Toyota Rav4 and upgraded 7th Generation Toyota Hilux in the market. New Rav4 comes with advanced features and powerful engine bundled in a compact size. It has features like improved fuel efficiency, increased cargo capacity, a dynamic design, full airbags (D+P+Side+CSA) among others. Hilux is powered by a 3.0 L Turbo Diesel engine with low emissions, and can tread anywhere, from tight corners in the city streets to vast hilly terrains. Hilux has a ground clearance of 222 mm.
Hyundai Inaugurates Training Academy
Laxmi Intercontinental, sole distributer of Hyundai has inaugurated its new Training Academy. According to the company, this is its first such dedicated training facility. Located in Patan Industrial Area, the new facility will host Hyundai staffs from across Nepal, offering training in disciplines such as Sales, Service, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and Product training. Covering 1600 sqm, the facility features classroom style lecture rooms, group discussion room, Seminar Hall, Library, e-learning center, Practical area and car display with mock-up showroom /service environment.
New TVS Company Outlet at Maharajgunj
CG MotoCorp, the authorized distributor of TVS two-wheelers in Nepal has added a new Company Outlet in Maharajgunj under the name AIT TVS Maharajgunj. AIT TVS is the 41st TVS Sales Outlet in Nepal under CG MotoCorp which offers various models of TVS two-wheelers. The showroom targets to sell more than 1200 units of vehicle in this fiscal year.

Agni Incorporated, the sole authorized distributer of Mahindra multi utility vehicles and tractors in the country, has opened Mahindra genuine spare parts outlet at Balaju, Kathmandu and at 15 other places throughout the country. Customers can get opening discount of 15 per cent on purchase of all spare parts and lubricants for a limited period of time.

Bhajuratna Electronics Pvt Ltd has introduced Kobe LED TVs in the market. According to the company, the TVs are targeted to those customers who want LED TVs at an affordable price. Ford Focus Best Selling Vehicle Globally
Ford Focus has maintained its leadership as the best-selling vehicle nameplate globally, based on Ford analysis of the latest Polk global vehicle registration data for the first half of 2013. Globally, Focus is up 20 per cent in the first half of 2013 as compared with the same period last year. Also, Ford Fiesta ranks as the fourth best-selling vehicle overall, and is the world’s best-selling subcompact vehicle through June 2013. Ford is the only brand with two nameplates among the global top five best-sellers.
Yamaha Scooter Exchange Concludes
MAW Enterprises organized ‘Yamaha Scooter Exchange Mahamela’ from October 24 to 26 at Bhrikuti Mandap. According to the company, this was the first and biggest event of its kind in Nepal. The event offered exchange of old motorcycles and scooters with Yamaha Ray. There was participation of more than 10 dealers and over 40 re-condition houses. The event also featured gaming zone, food festival, face painting, nail art and other attractions.
